My favorite drink place! Love the taro smoothie and their honey boba is the best!!!! Everyone should check it out

I remember trying these flavored ice in Cali so I was super stoked to find one here in Houston when I moved back. I walked in with my bf and Debbie was so sweet and welcoming. I ordered the green tea shaved ice with a bananas, watermelon and mochis. It was freaking DELICIOUS!!! We came back like every day for the past two weeks haha. I love Debbie and MIng. They are so nice all the time and always have time to chit chat with us for a bit even if the store is busy. I feel like they are family. hehe. We go so much that they already know what I want. LOL I will always be there #1 green tea shaved ice lover. But wait their shaved ice isn't the only yummy thing there. I love their milk teas and honey boba. I am very picky with my bobas LOL. Their is just the right sweetness. I will never go to another place ever again. LOL SO glad that is so close to my house too. It's like a mini chinatown there. I went in to buy some shaved Ice and my appetite was lost by the horrible sent of the place. The environment in not very welcoming and the theme of the story doesnt match. The chairs outside are broken and ripped.The advertising is falling off the front store and is very wrinkly. Left the place disappointed didnt order nothing. read more

Review is only based on drinks. I ordered the chocolate milk tea with boba and coffee tea with boba. The boba is made if honey since they called it" honey boba". The boba tastes fresh, not too chewy, and one of the best ones compares to other establishments. I the chocolate milk tea wasn't overly sweet and the coffee milk tea was to my liking. read more

Decided to stop getting bubble tea from Nu ice due to various reasons. Waited for 20 minutes just to get a cup of bubble tea. The order sequence is jumbled and people who have arrived later than I had their drinks served immediately (despite both orders being the same item) - or am I not aware of any priority service? Product wise, tapioca has lost its good quality and became very tough to chew. read more

1030pm is an almost closing time so you get below par service yet the same prices!! I get it people want to get off work and go home at 11pm but there are others that need jobs!! The cashier said that since she is closing soon all items are to be served in to go cups!! I wish the website would explain that service is less than expected at certain hours!! read more

I drive past this place every day and it's a struggle not stopping every time! My go-to is honeydew milk tea (or green milk tea if I'm not in a super - sweet mood) with mango poppers. I could seriously drink three of those in a row! I highly recommend stopping here for a drink or dessert but be careful if you live in the area because IT'S ADDICTIVE!!! ;) read more

i just came here on a whim since i was in the area. it's a cool place. they have the really light, delicious shaved condensed milk desserts and i had their rocket fuel slush bubble tea with lychee on bottom and strawberry on top. it was really good. my only gripe with it is that the consistency got worse as the drink went along. you know those times when you're drinking an icee and you start to get a small amount in each slurp and you have to reposition the straw? yeah, that happened. i feel like there should be a way to fix this. maybe there was too much ice in the mix? when i worked at starbucks, the perfect frap consistency was when there was higher ratio of liquid to ice, but you don't want to hear that. taste-wise, it was great. the ambience is great. it's a small shop with plenty of seating and (my favorite) free wifi! they even put on the world cup when i requested it. im not sure how new this place is but their "grand opening" sign was still up and it's almost july 2014. everything still seems pretty new. i hear this is their second location. check this place out. it's legit. i might even grab a drink to go! read more

Super excited that there's a location closer to me! Although there's construction on Fountain view and Westheimer, it's better than driving all the way to chinatown. My usual order is the original vanilla flavor with pudding, mango poppers, and mochi. I'll have to go back soon and try their other flavors/items. The only downside is that when it's busy, there's not much space/seating to accomodate everyone (had to get my order in a to-go cup and wait until a seat opened up). read more

Absolutely love this place! For all the great restaurants in the Galleria area, there aren't as many tea joints as you'd think. This place more than makes up for it....the people are friendly, the atmosphere is nice, everything I've had from shaved ice to milk tea has been fantastic. On a summer night, service gets chaotic and the two young people get confused as to who to serve first. Very frustrating place. We walked in with very few people ahead of us and then two minutes later the line was to the door. A young woman comes from the back and starts fulfilling orders randomly. The original guy starts ringing up people at the register. I voice my frustration to the guy at the register. He knows he should help me and says I'm going to make yours next. He then continues ringing up people. The young woman continues serving other people. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: We walked out. I don't complain twice to get served. read more

Great place to hang out with friends, we stopped by on a Saturday afternoon after brunch it wasn't packed but there was a steady stream of people. The lady at the counter was very helpful and the restrooms were clean. The Ice cream was great, you can add up to two toppings and a drizzle or you can choose form one of their combos. Went to nu ice for the first time today and man is their ice good! We tried the mango flavor it's very sweet and melts in your mouth. I also got the jasmine green tea with tapioca. Not super sweet which I like and really good flavor. The inside is nice and was packed. I will definitely go back if I get the chance. read more

Really bad experience with the drinks and icecreams. The attendants were nice and friendly. But the actual icecream/icrecream drinks were terrible! They were either too sweet or too chunky or too runny, or a combination of all three. I had a craving for some bubble tea, and they even ran out of bubble tea at that time- so I can't really comment on how their bubble tea was. But definitely, never dare to order their icecream combos. read more

My favorite Asian fruit - DURIAN and yes they have it here !!! And double plus they'll make a dairy free smoothie= eternal love lol!
