Our insurance requires very specific information in order to process claims. We tried reaching out to AFG Auto Glass multiple times for this information and they've either dropped our calls when we've gotten a hold of them or never returned our calls after we left voicemails. Additionally, we had attempted to schedule a follow-up service to check the repair they did since there was some residual glass shards left where the window was replaced. The rep that we scheduled with AFG Auto Glass to come check our window never came. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. We will not be using this service again.

At the appointment, he spent about 30 minutes attempting the calibration and ultimately determined that the camera itself was faulty and couldn't be calibrated. He was honest about it and didn't charge me. Instead, he recommended finding a shop that could replace and program the camera properly. Mike is very professional, knowledgeable, and prompt with communication. 2023: I had a cracked windshield and contacted the shop for a quote. Mike provided a fair price and mentioned he could work directly with my insurance. I told him I was concerned about potential premium increases and preferred to pay out of pocket. Fast forward to recently, and that tiny crack had grown to about the size of a quarter. I scheduled an appointment for a mobile repair, but literally overnight, that quarter-sized crack expanded even more. When I called Safelite, they were able to move my appointment up, but at that point, a full windshield replacement was necessary. That turned out to be the right call, because the crack quickly spread from one end of the windshield to the other. Sigh! I arrived about 30 minutes early, and my technician was able to take my car right away. He let me know the process would take around three hours, and he was spot on. The waiting area was spacious and comfortable, with a TV and a coffee/water station, which made the time pass easily. Once everything was completed and recalibrated, I was invited to inspect the work. They did an excellent job on my windshield, and I really appreciated the extra attention to detail. He was even able to transfer my car's insignia from the old windshield to the new one. Overall, a smooth, professional experience from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Safelite.

Unfortunately yelp does not work that…read moreway, if you want to say something about a company you have to leave them at least one star which this company does not deserve. Let me walk you through what happened a month ago when we contacted this company to fix our rear passenger window. We spoke with somebody on the phone and confirmed that they could come out and fix the window next dat. The individual gave us a price of $280 and confirmed that they would be fixing it with a non-tinted window. When they showed up to fix the window they had the wrong part, the replacement was tinted. So they finished the tinted window, and told us that they would come back the next day to put the correct window in. They did not show and it's been a month and they've yet to fix the window. After multiple attempts to reach them in a month later, I finally got the "owner" on there phone. He started the conversation off with " i've been avoiding you because you didn't pay the price we agreed on, I didn't want to argue" Like I said at the beginning, he gave us a quote of $280 and that is what we agreed on paying. Now he was trying to say that instead he wanted us to pay $350, although we had already paid the $280 and he incorrectly installed the part. He went on to further say that he was not going to come back out and fix the window until we paid the full amount of $350. What's funny is I have messages that prove we asked for a non-tinted window, and I have the invoice which shows the amount we agreed to pay as it is written on the invoice. The guy argued with me and then hung up on me, so now I am stuck with three non-tinted windows and one tinted window, which will not roll up and down without making a terrible sound. Stay away from this place save your time and your money. The owner is rude and cheap, he will do whatever it takes to get every penny out of you and he does not care about the customer experience. Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had.
