This is a follow up for a few more visits I've made here. The Thai here is always fresh and flavorful. Service is friendly and it's always more chill and not loud like other restaurants can be. A small, convenient Thai spot in Cottonwood this place has all the classics and actually does an overall good job of serving some good food. My favorite was the khaw soi, the broth was super flavorful and the noodles were the exact right texture that I was hoping for. Wish I could give more than 5 stars! On our 2nd trip to this excellent restaurant we ordered mostly different dishes just to confirm our first impression was correct. Boy was it! We ordered the chicken satay again because it was so good the first time. In addition, we ordered the chicken Larb, the beef waterfall salad, and sweet and sour chicken. All of it was absolutely excellent. But I have to say the beef waterfall salad is my new obsession. I ordered it spiced to a two and on my first bite I thought oh dear, I should've gotten a three. But as I ate more and more, the layers of flavor and spice came through brilliantly. Hard to describe how excellent it was. I could eat this 10 times a day. The other dishes were also well seasoned and well balanced. The chicken Larb, also spiced to a two, was great! If you're looking for great Thai food look no further! read more

We walked into a quaint, cozy seating area and ordered Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups for the table. We each ordered our own dish -- a variety of fried rice and noodles -- most of which were spicier than expected. We were warned, so I don't blame the restaurant. Firstly, the soups were incredible, particularly the Tom Yum. For the Tom Kha, I'm used to a more creamy texture and a richer coconut milk taste, but the sour flavor was palatable nonetheless. The fried rice was good all around and the service was excellent. We got our food quickly and everything was up to the standard I had expected. Nuan's Thai kitchen is a kitchen that ranks HIGH on my list of good places to eat! I ordered pork Khao Soi, and had some pork dumplings and spring rolls as appetizers. The pork dumplings were fried perfectly, and the sauce that came with them was fantastic. The spring rolls were also fried perfectly and wonderful to eat with their sweet and sour chili sauce. The Khao Soi curry was STRIAGHT it was that good! I have only two words for the coconut curry sauce... Flavor explosion! It was one of those curry sauces that made me wonder: how did they do it? How did they make it this good? What wizardry with coconut, chili, ginger, turmeric, cardamom and more did they just pull off? Everything in that bowl: the noodles, pork, shallot, etc. tasted majestic thanks to that curry. I consider this place ESSENTIAL if you live in the Cottonwood Heights area or if you spend a lot of time playing around in Cottonwood Canyon. If you live a good distance away, then it is worth a small journey to come eat here. read more

Got the Curry Noodles w chicken, they were delicious. The chicken was cut very thin and it wasn't great but wasn't bad. A lot of flavors and texture in that dish. The fresh spring rolls were good, the wrappers were a little firmer than other places but still good. My husband and daughter got chicken pad Thai and both said it was delicious. We walked in and ordered takeout, service was excellent and we didn't have a long wait. Inside was very clean and bright. read more

We went at 2pm on a Friday. The place almost empty. The waiter was super distant and really looked liked he didn't want to be there. We ordered chicken satay (I think it was cooked once and then coked again. It was awful. Like chicken jerky.. our pot stickers the same, cooked once and reheated. I think they came from Costco. Our drunken noodles were mushy and flavorless. On our way out I asked if they had lunch specials and waiter said only on Friday . I was Friday!!!!!! We won't be back. read more
