I've reviewed this restaurant over a couple years ago. We usually order the same thing, Tom Kha Gai, Pad Thai, Creme Cheese Wontons, and our favorite dish Yellow Curry. Today, I screwed up ordering. I ordered Tom Yum Gai, Khao Pad Graw Paow, Combination Appetizer Platter, Pad Graw Paow, and for dessert, Mango & Sticky Rice. When everything arrived at the table I asked the server, "did I order this?" Wow, great food at a great price. The portions are generous, especially compared to their competitors. The flavors are rich, and the customer service is excellent. The owner mentioned his aunt owned the place for 20 years, and he took over about three years ago. I'm surprised this place isn't busier--definitely a hidden gem. If I'm ever back in Utah, I'll be sure to return. If I do come back, I would get the fried rice with shrimp and chicken again. The beef pad see ew was great. I would give Thai Delight Cafe 6 stars, if I could. Hands down one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to! Even better than some in Thai Town LA or OC. Their staff is friendly, restaurant has a lot of tables to accommodate large groups. We ordered beef larb and chicken yellow curry, both spice level 3. The entrees came with complimentary rice. Other Asian restaurants charge extra for rice, which doesn't make sense, so we appreciate not having to pay for it. Their servings are big. Beef larb's flavors were spot on, everything was just well-balanced, including the heat. The yellow curry was nice and creamy. They were also generous with the chicken. The crispy shallots topping elevates the flavor. I definitely ate more rice than I wanted to because the curry was soooo good. The Thai tea was so refreshing after eating spicy food! The food is so good! It's not fancy. Just a little family owned place in a strip mall. It's my favorite Thai restaurant. They have the best pho I've ever had! I've also had the stir fry, multiple curries, and appetizers, and they're great as well. The cute server always remembers what we order, even when we haven't been there for months. They never have a wait, even on a weekend night, or a holiday. It's in a not busy area, with only a few small businesses around it, so I'm guessing people just don't know about it. Loved Thai Delight Cafe. Get the Bun Gi Yaw; it's amazing! The broth flavor, spring roll and peanut bit texture was fantastic.

Very delicious Thai food. The restaurant doesn't look like much from outside but inside is truly a delight. It is family owned and operated, their food is excellent. We are super lucky to have a lot of really great Thai places around the valley and this is one of them. These guys have a great pad see ew, yellow curry, massyman and you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They're definitely on our Thai restaurant rotation given there are quite a few within South Jordan/West Jordan but this is definitely my favorite in West Jordan area. I only ordered the Won Ton soup and yellow curry level 5 spicy. Both were delicious. The soup had more of a Chinese vibe than Thai flavors. There was chicken and shrimp along with the wontons in the soup with bean sprouts, cilantro, and green onions. If you want Thai flavors you should probably get the Tom Yum soup. We got the Gaeng Kua Sapparod and Massaman Curry. I was expecting an amazing Thai food, so good that was going to blow my mind away since this place has so many good reviews. Nope! The food tasted ok, nothing especial or outstanding. The curries were too salty for my taste and the rice was extremely sticky, maybe because it was closing time and just what it is left for the day. When it comes down to it, either have good food or you don't. This restraunt doesn't disappoint. I just love the egg rolls, seriously they are so crispy and come out piping hot. I get the yellow curry with noodles and tofu. My husband's mom makes this, and I don't know anywhere else except here that does it just the way she does.
