Hot and sour soup ON FIRE.

Thai Delight is a delight. Very good service and a clean restaurant. Very good food. The fresh spring rolls came as 4 full rolls. The hot and sour soup was tasty. The pad Thai had chicken and shrimp and tofu. The garlic chicken stir fry had delicious crunchy cabbage. We will definitely be back!

Delicious!! Everything was perfectly seasoned, piping hot, and super fresh. The soup was so good. Same with the curry. Very unassuming from the outside but it was great and we would be back. Lost a star for how much dust on the faux florals and walls.

    The best Curry Chicken!

I've reviewed this restaurant over a couple years ago. We usually order the same thing, Tom Kha Gai, Pad Thai, Creme Cheese Wontons, and our favorite dish Yellow Curry. Today, I screwed up ordering. I ordered Tom Yum Gai, Khao Pad Graw Paow, Combination Appetizer Platter, Pad Graw Paow, and for dessert, Mango & Sticky Rice. When everything arrived at the table I asked the server, "did I order this?" She pointed out my error and I decided since it was my fault, to keep everything however, I ordered the correct Pad Graw Paow. First off, the soup, Tom Yum Gai is now our FAVORITE soup! The flavors of lemongrass, lime leaves, and basil blended perfectly. The touch of fish sauce. This should be called Tom YUMMY Ha

Wow, great food at a great price. The portions are generous, especially compared to their competitors. The flavors are rich, and the customer service is excellent. The owner mentioned his aunt owned the place for 20 years, and he took over about three years ago. I'm surprised this place isn't busier--definitely a hidden gem. If I'm ever back in Utah, I'll be sure to return. If I do come back, I would get the fried rice with shrimp and chicken again. The beef pad see ew was great. The mango sticky rice was okay--most people would probably like it, but I'm not a fan of sweets. I wouldn't order the shrimp in a blanket again.

Honestly the food didn't taste bad. But I cannot get past the highly artificially seasoned curries the green and yellow curries died my counter and the chicken. I wouldn't go here again unless they stopped adding artificial coloring to their food..

Beef salad, just a fantastic salad!

Legitimately outstanding!! We found this on Yelp while we were heading back home, this is one of those things that you will remember! This is THE beat Thai food we have ever had, every single dish was amazing, true to the culture and absolutely delicious! I can even start to explain all the differences, but trust me, this is pure perfection!

I would give Thai Delight Cafe 6 stars, if I could. Hands down one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to! Even better than some in Thai Town LA or OC. Their staff is friendly, restaurant has a lot of tables to accommodate large groups. We ordered beef larb and chicken yellow curry, both spice level 3. The entrees came with complimentary rice. Other Asian restaurants charge extra for rice, which doesn't make sense, so we appreciate not having to pay for it. Their servings are big. Beef larb's flavors were spot on, everything was just well-balanced, including the heat. The yellow curry was nice and creamy. They were also generous with the chicken. The crispy shallots topping elevates the flavor. I definitely ate more rice than I wanted to because the curry was soooo good. The Thai tea was so refreshing after eating spicy food! Will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family who visit SLC. The 20 minute drive from our hotel was well worth it!

Food was delicious, loved the pad thai and chicken wings, four season wasn't my favorite but not bad. Our server was nice, always filling our water, the restaurant was pretty empty for how big it is and it felt awkward speaking at normal voice level. i would come back!

Very tasty pad see ew, lots of meat, surprisingly light on the noodles, but quite good.

The food and service were excellent here. I will definitely be coming back very soon. 10/10

I like this place alot especially when I feeling peckish for some spicy rice. Its always good with a good amount of heat. I mean you can eat it bland but really whats the point in that? Oh stop your wincing its only gonna hurt for a few hours, well worth it

Very delicious Thai food. The restaurant doesn't look like much from outside but inside is truly a delight. It is family owned and operated, their food is excellent. Everything comes out fresh and hot. Service was great. Best spring rolls I've ever had. So so so good. I highly recommend going with a bigger group, the food is served family style so you can try more entrees and share with your group. Lots of delicious entrees to choose from and share with your party. We ordered gyoza, the appetizer combo, Pad Thai, Pad Saw Ew, and Yellow Curry. Recommend and will be back! They also do takeout as well. My go to now for good Thai food!

The food was amazing and well seasoned! Some of the best flavor in Salt Lake City. The restaurant was busy when we came. Despite that, the staff did an excellent job managing the restaurant.

I don't know if there has been a change in management, a new chef, or just a complete menu revamp. I have had their Larb and Nam Thoke recently and they are completely different than they used to be. Much smaller portion, different presentation, and flavors. The Nam Thoke in particular no longer has a hint of bright vibrant flavors and I'd honestly describe the taste as being very similar to spicy beef jerky. They charge $4 (through doordash) for sticky rice now which used to be free with an entree. It's very sad. I feel like we lost a good one. I'm going to have to check in with Thai Delight to see how they're doing.

They have a really great lunch special and we both got that. I got the orange chicken, with cream cheese wontons, and the salad to start. I usually order the same dish at Thai restaurants- Pad See Ew- but I opted to order off the lunch menu, assuming that it would be easier on the staff that way. I figure it's good for me to branch out and try different things now and then anyway. My order of Pad Gra Prow was just ok. It didn't have a lot of meat in it, and far more onions than anything else. The flavor was pretty good, but I wanted more chicken and found myself digging through the veggies looking for more. The service was fantastic, I never felt like a burden, even though I'm sure coming in late in the afternoon isn't ideal. The food came out quickly and was very reasonably priced. Next time I visit, I'm going to try the Pad See Ew though.

They had fresh veggies, lettuce, carrots, etc. and the peanut sauce is sweet. For me the peanut sauce could use a little umph. I would say maybe using sweet chili sauce or the sweet vinegar they use when they marinate the cucumber salad in. It also is missing the most important ingredient- basil. This would make those rolls taste even better. The Pho was good when you add all the trimmings. However, it lacks depth after you've had the first few sips. Pho flavor should last through to the last spoonful. This happens when the soup is rushed and not stewed. Pad Graw Praw has all the flavors, especially the basil. It has good balance and lasting flavors. In fact, I had this for lunch the next day! The mango and sticky rice was not as good as I remember it. It was still good, but the sauce needed to be sweeter for me. Definitely order this when you come here. I'll try them again but will order a curry dish and a Tom Tum soup.
