    Shrimp Spring Rolls(2)
    Katee L.

Ordered delivered. Shrimp spring roll is 95% lettuce/herbs. They didn't even include noodles. Shrimp is thin. Would not order again. Chicken pho was lacking flavor. The actual chicken was good but also they put way too much noodles.

I love lemongrass bahn mi and the lemongrass shrimp bahn mi from Sunset bahn mi didn't disappoint!!! The baguette is huge and fresh. The carrot and jicama were plentiful. The shrimp was small but generous amount and very flavorful. The pad Thai had so much jumbo shrimp it's definitely more than one serving. The noodles held on the road because they're on the thicker side. As for the drinks they come in a 32 ounce Tupperware which is so generous of them. Definitely is one of my go to bahn mi places now!!!

    Chicken Eggrolls (3)

Ordered for takeout. The beef bánh mì satisfied my craving but it didn't wow me, the bread and meat quality was great but it was so overloaded with garden and picked carrots that you lost the flavor unless you took some of it out. The egg rolls were packed but didn't have a good crunch. They do offer large Thai teas, which i love. The portion sizes are great but the spot is pretty average. Maybe it was lackluster because i ordered takeout so I will be trying again in person!

Took a chance on this place. I wanted something other than just cheese and meat lol. It's was so good I would definitely order here again.

We found street parking but we couldn't find the actual restaurant because I just assumed the building was an apartment building. Once we finally walked through the door, inside is so lovely. I LOVE their bar countertop. We sat outside which has great vibes for summer. Cute lighting, all the works. I want to sincerely thank them for a wonderful birthday dinner for my friend. And for the superior service we received. Very warm and inviting. I can't hype up the service here enough. And we accidentally stayed significantly after closing without realizing it because we were tucked in a corner and lost in our conversation so we didn't even see the time, but we were never rushed out the door (to other diners - please do not be like us, I am so sorry we stayed so late without realizing the restaurant had closed, *yes there was another straggling table next to us who were still there as well so that's why we didn't realize the time*) again, so sorry, and thank you for being so accommodating still!

We started with those super delicate pani puri style poppers. I've seen them on MasterClass and always wanted to try them, so finally getting them here was a moment. Filled with tandoori flavors, chutneys, mint, and a yogurt center that pops in your mouth. So good. Cocktails paired perfectly too. The pickle one and the Purple Rain were both solid gin drinks. Service was great. The bartender and server were both super knowledgeable and helped guide us through everything, which made a big difference with a menu like this. The ambience is beautiful. Big bar in the back, great lighting, a mix of natural and more moody tones that make it feel elevated but still comfortable. For mains, the pot pies are a must. We tried the biryani and the butter chicken versions, completely different but both worth it. Portions are huge, you will have leftovers. The quesadilla with fajita peppers and tandoori chicken was such a cool fusion idea and worked really well. The boneless truffle chicken had this creamy, almost alfredo style sauce with Indian spices that made it super unique. Ended with the saffron noodle pistachio ice cream dessert and that was unlike anything I've had before. Definitely something you try at least once. This is one of those spots where everything feels creative and intentional. I'll definitely be back.

Their grocery store has everything you could want in terms of Indian ingredient selection, but the restaurant goes crazy- amazing food. They are under new management now so they're no longer called "India sweets and spices" but they are somehow even better. I've always had a hard time with spicy food and when we used to go in, they would tell us "they're all spicy" (referring to the curry) - and sometimes I'd get lucky and have less spicy curry, and other times I'd have to add a lot of yoghurt. But now they have actual mild options which means we're going there twice as often. The samosas are great (can be spicy too so always ask), the garlic naan is incredible, and if it hasn't changed, you can ask for poori instead of flatbread. The staff is super friendly and hospitality is unmatched. If you come in on Holi they sometimes have a bowl of bright powder for you to bless yourself or your friends with. Genuinely love this place.
