FOLLOW THE REVIEWS HERE PEOPLE, especially regarding their service area. I wish I read these first and I would have never dropped off my vehicle here for repair!! They will take forever to get your vehicle back to you. They will provide you a time to drop off and not even get to it that day. Also found out tech assigned to my vehicle took a couple days off so vehicle just sat there while the associate assigned to deal with customer would just say he was still diagnosis when wasn't even there. This repair should have been covered under warranty but they blamed me. They claimed a fuse was removed and caused damage to electrical in center console. I am no mechanic, but fuses are there to protect components, not break them. So even if a fuse was missing that would have been equivalent to being blown. Basically, they continued to come up with different issues until it was debunked and then they would say oh, it's not that, it is this (at first they accused me of installing a wire to the console which was not true so then they went with the fuse theory). NuCar Chevy is a prime example why people don't trust mechanics. I def will not purchase another car again from them nor get services. First time and last time customer!! read more

I called Nucar at 10:00AM to get my battery replaced. It was the original battery from April 2016. Almost 10 years old.!! They gave me a same day appointment for 2:15PM. I waited while they did the work, which was only 2 hours. They also performed a 27 point inspection for free and added air to my tires. I had a coupon for a battery replacement/install, but the battery I wanted couldn't be used with that coupon. They gave me a fair discount anyway. This is why I ALWAYS have my Silverado and Impala serviced at Nucar. Good Job!!! read more

I strongly and explicitly advise anyone considering buying this Tesla! or any vehicle from this dealership to walk away and find a seller who values transparency, safety, and basic respect for their customers. This experience was not just disappointing, it was genuinely distressing and left me feeling pressured, dismissed, and deeply uneasy about the integrity of this dealership and the vehicle they were trying to sell. I visited twice in good faith, hoping to purchase a Tesla. The first salesperson was almost polite and initially tried to be helpful, but the tone quickly shifted into mockery. I was told I was "anxious" simply for asking reasonable, standard questions, questions any responsible buyer should ask before making a major financial decision! Once the manager became involved, the situation escalated into something that felt close to bullying. My concerns were brushed aside, my requests for transparency were treated as an inconvenience, and I was made to feel uncomfortable for trying to protect myself as a buyer. My requests for an independent inspection or any form of battery health verification were flatly refused. I was also informed that Tesla only performs formal inspections for the registered vehicle owner--meaning I had no practical way to verify the condition of this car before purchasing it. I was being asked to spend tens of thousands of dollars without any legitimate way to confirm what I was actually buying. The dealership refused to provide service records or meaningful documentation about the vehicle's history. On my second visit, the price no longer matched what was advertised online, and only after asking I was finally presented with the price. I was then confronted with excessive, unexplained dealership fees that felt deliberately obscured rather than transparently disclosed. During my own inspection, I found tire tread that appeared severely worn, borderline unsafe for winter driving, and an almost dead 12V battery. When I raised these safety and reliability concerns, I was told that I was "looking for a new car" and that used cars simply "come with used tires," rather than being offered any meaningful response, solution, or consideration. The trade-in process only reinforced my concerns. I was offered far less than what multiple other dealerships had quoted me, and my vehicle was described as being in poor condition despite independent documentation confirming it was in pristine shape with only minor cosmetic scratches. What made this experience truly alarming was the refusal to offer any form of buyback or post-sale guarantee, even if undisclosed issues were to emerge after purchase. I had an appointment to drop my car off for a routine oil change and tire rotation. My appointment was 1:30 and I dropped my car off at 11:00 am. I came back to the dealership at 4:00 after repeatedly calling and receiving no answer. The guy Joshua says ok they have 1 more in front of yours and you will be next and it will be another 45 minutes. I said what??? Are you kidding me? My car was there over 5 hours and it still hasn't even been started yet? He tells me that because I dropped it off and didn't stay and wait because I had other appointments to take care of that they prioritize people who wait over drop offs. Really?? I thought that's what the purpose of making an appointment was for. Joshua insisted that the appointment really doesn't matter that it goes by priority of waiting people. Joshua tried to get me to pay for an extra service they offer and I refused because I couldn't afford it at this time. My opinion is people who are paying higher service bills are the priority NOT people who wait or are getting just an oil change and rotating tires. If you take your car to Nucar Chevrolet I would recommend not letting Joshua touch your car or key. Very very disappointed and think it's unacceptable to treat people who spend more with higher priorities. It is not a casino! read more

Highly recommend to avoid this dealership. I was in th area and decided to stop by to see a vehicle that i was interested in and everything was too good to be true. As I walked in noone wanted to help me out, took someone 15 minutes to come and help me out which his name was cristian. Once Cristian started to help me we discussed the vehicle, checked it out and even test drove it. We went back to sit with Cristian and discussed numbers everything was perfect until we told him we had to come to NJ to pick up. We asked if we can leave a deposit and he said no so we agreed that we would come back with the trade in. On our way back home we checked the website and within 30 min of us walking out the vehicle was no longer available. He called us the next day asking if we we're still interested and we said yes but isnt the vehicle already sold and he said no but ill check and get back to you. We did not hear back from him anymore until 2 weeks later and he asked us the same thing and again forgot the vehicle sold. We let it go but 3 weeks later (today) he called and asked if were still interested and we got happy thinking oh maybe there was a mistake but that was not the case. The vehicle has been sold. Frustrating to keep receiving these calls after we were told the vehicle was sold. They should know what they have in their inventory instead of constantly harassing us about a vehicle that they no longer have. read more

They dont honor their own appointments made on line, went there with a major computer issue with my 2 week old colorado, to be told to take it to the dealership I bought it from, with no working dash displays. And now waiting for almost 2 hours for a 10 minute oil change. Do yourself a favor and go to another dealership for service. read more

We dropped our 2018 vehicle off this morning for a wheel noise and a parking brake light. 7 hours later it's getting close to the time they close and they haven't diagnosed either issues. When asked if they had a loaner vehicle we could use tomorrow since they didn't finish the response was we don't offer loaner vehicles unless its covered under warranty. So because they couldn't tell if a wheel noise was covered under warranty (IN 7 HOURS) I had to go pick up the car without any diagnosis done so my wife could get to work and drop our kid off at daycare tomorrow. I get things may take a day or two to diagnose if they are complex like an engine noise but a wheel noise???? A Parking brake light?? Very disappointed in service. read more

We would never recommend this dealership. We bought a car in Feb of 2023. Not only were we not happy with the car, but we couldn't get help with it. Topper was April 7, my husband contacted them by phone and email regarding a tire issue that we were concerned about driving on. As of April 17th we have not heard from them. We were discussed. We got rid of the car and went back to the dealership we always dealt with who was always right there for any issues. Never going back and don't recommend them or their cars. read more

I was very disappointed in this Dealership. I went there twice in a 10 day period to purchase a Wine colored Colorado. My first visit I waited and waited for my salesman to finish with a customer and the truck I was interested in was being bought by a customer who came in after me. That was the first issue. I was promised by the Sales manager they would find me the same truck and would call me and I decided to give them a second chance. I went back a second time when I was told they found my truck. So I go back and the truck was not ready for me, I was expecting to purchase this truck and take it home. Another disappointment it was not ready. I was again promised everything would be done to get the truck ready to be picked up the next day. I waited all day and decided to call and make sure if I went back I could get my truck. I was told they were backed up in the shop and the truck is not ready for pick up. I then decided to find a better dealer and cancel the deal. I would not recommend this Dealership to anyone I know. My husbands truck was towed there on July 5th when his brakes locked up in his Chevy Silverado. It is now July 22nd and we have had to consistently call and get different answers from everyone as to the status and what the actual issues are. We finally got a call on Wednesday (July 19th) that his truck would be ready for pickup on July 20th and they would call when it was done. Well here we are July 22nd and no truck and no call. Have repeatedly called his rep as well as talked to service manager (who seems to have no idea what happens in his own shop) and no one likes to respond to calls. This is the WORST customer service I have ever seen and DO NOT recommend NuCar for anything! If they can't respond to voicemails or even pickup the phone I can't even imagine buying a car from them! Here's to hopefully getting his truck sometimes in the near future if someone ever returns a call and let's us know it's ready! The only perk is he did get a loaner truck that he was able to rack some miles on! I did tell him at this point 4 weeks later he should just go get it insured and registered and it's his new truck haha! read more

Sorry. Will never deal with your business again and hope others read my reviews of how bad they neglect their customers and will also avoid Nucar as well - end edited update - I was having a problem with my heat in my Chevy Volt at the end of October and wanted to get ahead of the problem before it got really cold in the winter and I made an appointment and brought my car in and left it there for a day. Seeing as how I use my car for work on thedaily, having to take a day off is not something that I like to do as it disrupts my business. I was told there was nothing wrong with my heat that I just wasn't using it properly and that I needed to push the Max button for the heat to start. That never had to be done before. So I reached back out to my service advisor via telephone and by text to let them know that the heat was still not working properly and I needed it fixed and never heard a peep from anyone. I tried several times to call and to text and still no response. Absolute joke. Avoid this service center. read more

I took my 2017 Chevy Cruze in for a tune up on Friday November 10th I told them I wanted a tune up and gave them my extended warranty card then ​called them 4 hours later wondering what was taking so long I talked to Anthony he said I had a cracked piston and two of them were misfiring I would need a new motor. My extended warranty wouldn't cover it because I didn't have two years of oil change receipts so I told them just to put my car back together and I would come pick it up when I got there and paid them 165 dollars for nothing because they didn't even do a tune up. When I started my car every light on my worning light on my dashboard were was on even my check engine light even my oil light then we took the car back in ​I was very upset I told them they broke my car needless to say i wsd yelling so they got the manager it said they didn't do anything but hooked it up to computer right then I knew he was lying because I had to go there and get my book out of the glove compartment and my car was took an apart so he told me the same things they told me which was a lie he told me I needed a new motor plain and simple there was nothing else they can do I needed a motor. Bought me 2014 ram 1500 express from nucar Mazda in December of 2022 and then took it to nucar chevy for a repair that I needed October 13, 2023. I had a coolant leak that a gentleman named Jeremy and one of his mechanics found. Thermostat Housing Replacement: UPPER RADIATOR HOSE LEAKING FROM THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING. HOSE CANNOT BE TIGHTENED ANY FURTHER. CORROSION BUILD UP ON THE HOUSING CAUSING THE LEAKING. REPLACEMENT OF UPPER RADIATOR HOSE AND THERMOSTAT WITH HOUSING RECOMMENDED. this is what they diagnosed was wrong and cost me 822.64 which is out rages to me. $525.00 for labor and 272.84 for the radiator hose and another 24.00 for something misc. So I paid the fee the day I got my truck back first off battery was dead, lucky I have a jump box that I keep with me and a flat tire. Big red flag there. So my Lady drives it to work 1hr away and she calls me and says "hey we're still leaking coolant And as I look leaking from the same place it was before. Long story short I take it back to nucar October 30 2023, they look it over again and come to a conclusion of it's my water pump that is leaking. Now they want to charge me another 564 Dollars to fix the water pump and have it another couple days. Jeremy told my Lady and I quote " sometimes we fix things and something else brakes from that". Excuse me? I'm Not paying you guys anything because I don't trust you now, And as I go get my truck because I wasn't paying these jokers nothing else Jeremy doesn't look at me nothing not a sorry about this and he's a very nice gentleman and he wasn't fazed that he cheated a customer out of almost 1400 in repair. I do not recommend this place to buy vehicles or get them fixed. Now have to go somewhere else to fix the mistakes these men made. They don't care about their customers at all. read more

I Bought a 2022 Silverado Z71 and the salesman said it does not have a chip for backup alarm/ heated seats nor does it have the Z71 Skid plate. Both are backordered and i will be notified to get them installed at a later date. I email periodically but now they are now ignoring my emails. Its been over 4 months that i'm paying for a product that was not 100% delivered. I like the dealership but after the sale customer service is disappointing. read more

Giving 1 star is being generous with this one. I guess the star is for Mario. The only person who had integrity and great customer service. For him he gets 5 stars. The dealership and management 0 stars. I spent 5 hours FIVE, in this place to get a new car. Mario despite not being in a sales role politely helped answer a few questions about what i was looking for. Offered to grab me some keys for test drives but when he realized one of the cars I was interested in was sold he directed me to a sales rep to help look deeper. The sales rep concentrated on punching in numbers to get me approved l. I was torn between a honda pilot or a chevy traverse whichever I was approved for. I was all in. I got screened. Approved. My current vehicle was reviewed and approved for trade in and i had payment numbers in front of me that i signed. (Which was presented by Mario not the sales rep who crunched the numbers not sure why but cool we like Mario). All that was left was to grab keys and sign a full lease for the car it seemed oh and to pay which I offered to do twice!! Anyway apparently while we were crunching numbers and being approved. Someone else test drove the car. TEST DROVE. So because they test drove that gives them the rights to the car. Not me who sat there for 5 hours getting approved and signing some stuff no the test drivers. So I was told they needed to be screened and if approved they get the car. (This is hour 4 I was told this) not until hour 5 did i finally get told sucks to suck. I then requested all the documents I signed. Waited patiently or as patiently as one could after 5 hours for NOTHING I go out to find the manager who was completely unprofessional and rude the entire process that I requested my documents from sitting there at the front talking and laughing. I then requested my documents again because I have kids to go pick up and was told I needed to wait the room my papers were in had a client. My personal info is with someone else. In a room I wasn't in. So instead of him politely knocking to get my documents he shrugged me off like I was an insignificant ant. I feel so dirty. Like I'm worthless after dealing with this today. I have never been treated so poorly in my 35 years of life. NEVER will I recommend this horrible place. I don't know what happened in the last 5 years for this place to be this bad. read more

I hate doing or giving one star reviews. However arrived for an oil change and tire rotation at 137 pm. It is now 4 pm and I have not heard anything or seen anybody. No apologies or updates. I spent over 20 years as a tech and am now retired from that. But if my manager knew to drain oil and change a filter was going to take over two hours I would not have had a job long. This simple process seems ridiculous. The waiting room is full of people in the same boat. My elderly mother came in yesterday to have the oil changed on her 2017 Sonic. She made an appointment for 11am. When she got there she was directed to an guy with hair like a shark fin. He was extremely rude, dismissive and disrespectful to her. He told her that "it wasn't 11am yet" to which my mom replied that was ok and that she would wait on site for her car to be done. He said it would be done by 12:30. At 1pm he still hadn't checked in with her on the status of her car. When my mom got up to check, she noticed her car was ready and waiting and sitting in the parking lot. My mother is on her 70s and was extremely sore from sitting so long. When she went to the desk to inquire, the shark haired guy was on the phone and basically threw the folder on the counter for my mom to checkout- all while staying on the phone. He was extremely dismissive and rude. We assist my mom in her car purchases and we will never buy another car from Nucar if this is the reception you get as a service customer. I sent an email to several dealerships on a Monday morning and Nucar responded immediately. No others even responded until Tuesday or Wednesday. I was very clear in my message that if they could hit X price I would be in Friday to sign, I wanted to do the deal via email/text/phone and just fo in and sign. I knew what I wanted. Nucar was the only dealership willing to work this way. They got to my price and I was there Friday to sign. Took no more than 30 minutes to sign paperwork which was all prepared and ready to go. LOVE my Traverse Redline. Josh, Chris, Karen, and the finance guy (sorry forgot his name.) were a true pleasure, no BS........ I have only ever bought from one other dealership in my life (I am 45) and since I have moved Nucar will hopefully be my last. read more

They employ idiots for receptionists or maybe there are just crooks. I had a "Change Transmission Oil" message on my Chevrolet Captiva. I called them and the receptionist put me on hold for about a year. Then she comes back saying "I have talked to 3 different people and they have never heard about a Change Transmission Oil message. We would love for you to come in so we can see for ourselves". Well i set up an appointment with them thinking they would probably not charge me anything or maybe 20-30 bucks just to reset the message. I go in there and the guy says "Oh yeah it says right here that you Transmission Oil message has be cleared and its gonna be $165 to hook it up and clear it". In other words, they pretended to be dumb and got me to come in and then gave it to me straight. What a Stupid bunch of idiots they are. I will be buying a $110 scan tool to do it myself now. Never going back there again. They can shove their diagnostic fee up there you know what. read more

recently leased a Equinox from Nucar. My current lease on a Cadillac matured November 30. I have leased with Cadillac for many years but wanted to look at different options. My first visit to Nucar was August 24 in which I drove an older model Equinox since there were no new cars available to drive. I eventually put a $1000.00 deposit on a new car that was on order to be the first to see the car when it came in. It took many times to ask the salesman to assure me that I could get the deposit back if I did not like the car. Finally he did tell me and I felt comfortable with the verbal agreement. I was upfront and firm on my expectations of a down payment and monthly payment in which Nucar did agree to meet. The car came in September 29. I offered to come to see and purchase car on the 30th. I was told it would not be ready due to inspection and detailing. My current lease payment was due October 1. I consulted my sales person to ask about whether to make the payment. I was told that the payoff could take some time and could possibly affect my credit if it looked like I was late on a payment. So I decided to make the payment. I asked several times via phone conversations who would be responsible to return that payment and was told any overpayment would be reimbursed by GM. Even the day of sale I asked and the same verbiage was repeated. Their payment system goes in electronically so payoff was immediate. That being said they included my November payment but not my October. I paid $399.99 for the month of October which the Cadillac was in Nucar possession on October 3. I spoke with a manager who did nothing more than talk over me and told me what a great deal I got. She never acknowledged the problem of they took possession of my car and the October payment made with no return. I was mislead. I have never been taken advantage of in my years of leasing until now. It is really about principle and integrity at this point. This will make me question ever purchasing another GM. This review is regarding the dealer not the vehicle. The lesson is the grass is not always greener...stick to who you know will not cheat you. read more

OK, Trying to Purchase a Vehicle over the internet/phone I Spoke to the sales man at 12:20 and told him that we had a deal at a certain price, At 1:50 I get a "proposal" not a contract that proposal was for $20 more than what was agreed to. I allow that to slide. At 2:30 I send back a signed proposal. I start trying to figure out how to get the vehicle paid for. I let the know that I had everything I needed, and I might need a day to figure out the transfer since it was Sat. Luckily my bank closed at 2:00 on Sat, as I had the amount of the vehicle and the wiring instructions! Why Luckily you ask? Well they text me, not call, that the car was being sold to another buyer. I could not imagine if I sent a bank wire for $35k and tried to get it back from this company it would have probably taken a lawsuit as they are so shady in their business practices. Run away from Ray and Mike J they are not honest and honorable in their business practices. read more

I literally work right near this dealership and had great experiences with their service department, so when considering a vehicle purchase they were my first stop. Bad idea. I was sent next door to the Mazda dealership who "handles" their pre-owned inventory. Hardly any conversation, zero attempt at negotiating and I even had the pleasure of looking at the vehicle myself. Here's how they do business: your trade in? We'll give you bottom dollar market value. The vehicle you are interested in? Top dollar market value. You can get screwed much easier at a gastroenterologist. I will start this off by saying Nucar has a FANTASTIC sales department, but their service department is another story. Every single time I try and call to schedule an appointment, I am put on hold (the online system does not work to schedule appointments, I've tried). Yesterday was close to ten minutes, I had to hang up and call back for someone to answer. I've had one key fob replaced under the key replacement warranty last year (which was a disaster, my fob was never ordered and I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes before anyone even told me they didn't have my fob in stock) and this year I need to get another replaced for a different vehicle. Each time, I am sent to parts to make sure a fob is in stock, which as the customer I don't feel it is my job to do that considering I don't work for Nucar, then I am bounced back to service to sit on hold to schedule the appointment. The gentleman who answered in parts was quite rude because I did not have the last 8 of the VIN, he snidely said that's crucial information for ordering a transmitter. I then had to leave a message for the lady in service to schedule my appointment, it is now the next day and no call back. Nucar needs to get their act together in service and parts, because it's terrible. If anything, hire an appointment coordinator to strictly schedule appointments, because trying to make an appointment is a pain and it shouldn't be that way. Also, when your vehicle is being worked on for an extended period of time, there is literally ZERO communication from the service department on what is going on with your vehicle. read more

Don't go to this dealership at all drive to Wilmington or Elton. Took my truck there to have it serviced and when I picked it up it had been backed into something. The bumper was damaged, tailgate, tail light and bed side. They called me a liar at first. Once fixed 2 weeks later I checked the repair and it was not up to par the tail light still need to be replaced and the bed side was filled with Filler instead of replacing the bedside, when I told them that's what I wanted and they agreed that's what they would do. So they lied to me, damaged my vehicle and I'm the one that's stuck with a truck that has a lowered value. All because they backed it into something. I will be Pursuing. Purchased a certified used truck. I tried to deal with the service manager for warranty help and he really could care less on helping a customer. Does not return calls. Treats you like your being a pain. I guess when you ask for any type of help they ignore you. Maybe some classes on customer service. This place is amazing and Randy is a miracle worker. I saw a deal online that sounded too good to be true. I called to find out the hidden details and he assured me that there weren't any. A few minutes later the manager Brian called me and assured me they weren't lying about the deal posted. We told our Toyota sales guy about it and he told us we were lying about it and that we were nuts. So we walked out of the Toyota dealership and drove down to Nucar Chevy (about 30 minute drive for us).
