AS it turned out, I was BETTER treated and cared for by ANYONE but this person. I was surprised that I was able to get in so quickly and NOW I know why. I was originally supposed to see another Dr at the La Jolla facility which would have been 1 1/2 month wait (as was the other Dr I saw previously) but they said they had an opening in a few days at Hillcrest with this person, so I took it. The two days before my appt. I was contacted to change my appt. 3 TIMES. She said she didn't want to stay past 1:30 p.m. the final time and asked me to come at 12pm. She wanted to leave early. (My original appt was at 4pm) This was on a Wed. The waiting room was pretty vacant and I saw her quickly, and after dealing with her, I know why. When she walked in she was snippy, abrupt, snappish and SO absorbed in herself that she didn't LISTEN AT ALL. I told her I have had very bad issues with vaccinations, injections, chemical sensitivities, and multiple allergies. I also told her about reactions and other issues with different things I have had happen. She then turned to me and quickly blurted something at me that was said SO quickly and almost snapping . I asked her what she had said and she repeated it. I told her due to ALL the issues I had told her, I DID NOT feel comfortable injecting harmful things that more than likely, due to my history, near my brain or into my body. The WHOLE time she was rolling her eyes and huffing and puffing. She got very rude and told me if I wouldn't do what she recommended she wasn't going to do anything. I also told her of a medication I NEARLY died from, she ended up PRESCRIBING IT FOR ME. She asked if I had been in an accident, YES, I had told you that earlier! The whole time she was being aggressive, argumentative and VERY SHORT. I REALIZED I SHOULD HAVE JUST LEFT when she said she wouldn't help me instead of feeling obligated to finish the visit! The whole thing was a FIASCO, she also prescribed another medication that NOT ONLY DIDN'T help but CAUSED me problems making them WORSE. THIS is just the TIP of the iceberg with this visit. I would suggest ANYONE that needs a NEUROLOGIST LOOK ELSEWHERE. I have NOT seen such puffing, eye rolling and acting out since JR. HIGH. I told my GP, filed a complaint with her office, with UCSD, and will be putting my evaluation on here, Healthgrades and other medical review sites. She waved her hand in the air as she gave me the BAD PRESCRIPTIONS with the other and said, I don't need to see you anymore, without even looking up. AS IF she thought I would ACTUALLY come back for rudeness and incompetence! I stayed because I THOUGHT I had to but if I had to do it again, I would have LEFT when she first got bitchy. It would have saved me AT LEAST SOME TIME.

I met with Vickki, who did an excellent job asking detailed questions and guiding me through various movements to accurately identify the source of my pain. I came in with a shoulder injury and had been experiencing muscle spasms. My doctor had prescribed muscle relaxers and referred me to Spine & Sport for further treatment. Thankfully, their Saturday hours fit perfectly with my work schedule. I was told I'd be in great hands with Matthew Langworthy, and that turned out to be absolutely true. He designed a focused strengthening routine that targeted my problem area. The first few weeks were challenging, as I was still dealing with spasms, but by my final visit, I saw significant improvement. My shoulder felt much better, and Vickki also provided me with effective at-home exercises to maintain progress. I highly recommend Spine & Sport--their team truly goes above and beyond to deliver excellent care and customer service. Thank you!

I was referred here after a hamstring injury and every time I came in, Matthew forgot my name,…read moreforgot my injury, and forgot which side the injury was on. I would remind him each time, he would then give me exercises and immediately walk away before I started (not ever checking if I am doing it correctly) to go talk about sports with his colleagues. He did not check to see if I did the exercises correctly and I felt like I was wasting my time taking off work and driving over just to be ignored- I could've just googled exercises and done them at the gym. I'm only writing this review because I keep getting automatic text requests to fill out a form about my progress, and it is frustrating because I made no progress here, no one cared about my healing at all, and I wasted money on something I could've done alone. I switched physical therapists after a few sessions and the difference was night and day in terms of actually paying attention. The new place even went so far as to look at my appointment info ahead of time to know my name and injury and give me an actual plan
