Quite disappointed in my drink. Barely tasted any matcha. My churro matcha tasted like straight up vanilla ice cream that has been melted down with sprinkled cinnamon sugar. The regular matcha was a little bit better but not as good as I hoped. Not pictured, but we also got a croissant and pain au chocolat. The croissant was super oily and dense. Felt like it was underbaked. Pain au chocolat was slightly better. It was kind of bread like. The cafe itself was super cute and aesthetics. I have been eyeing them on social media and they do have cool concepts for seasonal drinks. Hoping the matcha flavor comes through.
So cute inside and they have a great speciality drink menu! I got the smores latte and chose level 2 sweet. I felt it was perfect for me and tasted great. My friend had their matcha with vanilla at level 1 sweetness which is more subtle but a stronger matcha flavor. There's several tables inside and it's great to work in or meet with friends. There is free WiFi as well. They had food I didn't get a chance to try but I will definitely be back!
I love a coffee shop with unique (and delicious) options, so Nur won my favor with ease. I tried the Mango Sticky Rice matcha. It was so good that I got a second round later that afternoon!!! Service is quick enough and everybody working there was efficient and nice. I sat inside while waiting for my friends and enjoyed my book peacefully - it's so cute. There's also a strong smell of cardamom and other teas, which I was obsessed with.
Was staying nearby at a hotel and happened to pass by on a walk with the dog I had recently seen this place all over social media Inside space is quite nice- was there early so wasn't very busy Staff were nice and efficient- ordered mochas and tried their pain au chocolat croissant The coffees were just mid for me- very expensive too The pastry was excellent and they warmed it up for me too They have some outdoor seating which overlooks the park and a nice view of US Bank stadium
I stopped by Nur House for the first time after hearing about their salted date latte, but unfortunately it was only available as a seasonal spring drink. The barista was incredibly friendly and recommended one of their summer specials instead, so I ended up trying the s'mores latte, and I'm so glad I did! The latte was smooth, flavorful, and had the perfect caffeine kick. I especially appreciated that they make their syrups in-house and let you adjust the sweetness to your liking. The toasted marshmallow whipped topping really brought the s'mores flavor together without being overly sweet. The space itself is beautiful. The forest green walls, earthy tones, and abundance of natural light make it feel warm and inviting while still being bright. There are plenty of tables and seating options for remote work, plus a cozy little reading nook that I thought was a really nice touch. They also have ample outdoor seating if you want to enjoy your coffee outside. One thing to note is that the shop runs a little chilly, so I'd recommend bringing a light jacket if you plan to stay and work for a while. As for food, they offer a handful of breakfast items and a nice selection of pastries, but it's not really a destination for a full meal. I came for the coffee and atmosphere, and both delivered. I'll definitely be back--especially when the salted date latte returns next spring!
One visit in and I already think Nur House Cafe is gonna be one of my top 5! Love the space, drink options, and pastries. You can tell that the owners really care about quality! The matcha to milk ratio is fantastic. For both the mango sticky rice matcha and the Thai tea matcha, you could choose a sweetness level 1-3. In order to actually taste the flavor (mango / Thai tea), I'd go with a 2 or 3. I tried a level 1 and it just tasted like plain matcha (which I do love!), but the team kindly adjusted my drink up to get the full mango flavor. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the drinks are still balanced at max sweetness. The mango syrup goes so well with the matcha and the coconut cold foam. The Thai tea matcha combo wasn't as good imo (even though I love both), but it was hard to compete with the other drink. The pain au chocolat was super buttery and tasted fresh. The chocolate in it was a typical amount - not a ton but not too little. Already looking forward to going back and trying more drinks!

I was able to find paid street parking right in front, which was super convenient. There was no line when I visited, and the café felt spacious with plenty of seating available. The staff were all very friendly, patient, and welcoming. I ordered the mango sticky rice matcha and a warmed chocolate chip cookie. The cookie came out first, and my matcha was ready in less than five minutes, which was great. I ordered the matcha at sweetness level 2 out of 3. While I didn't really taste much mango or sticky rice flavor, it was still a solid matcha overall. I especially loved the sweetened shredded coconut on top it added a nice touch. The noise level was comfortable, the tables were clean, and I really enjoyed the green aesthetic throughout the space. Even the music fit the nature inspired vibe of the café perfectly. Overall, I had a great first visit and will definitely be back to try more drinks!
Let me start off by saying, I don't write reviews but the coffee and breakfast sandwiches here were exceptional. I got salted maple latte (off their fall menu) and oh my goodness was it creamy and so balanced. The chipotle breakfast sandwich was also perfect. Fresh focaccia and a custard egg. I'm sad that I was just visiting for work and can't have Nur on the reg. Hoping to be back soon.
Friendly service and the shop was neat. I liked the green velvet seating area. Not my favorite coffee in the area. I wish they had more flavors and some sugar free options.

I absolutely love the cute little location in the interior decor of this coffee house!! And it's a perfect place to hang out with friends or just pick up a fun drink, which is what my partner and I did!! the service is so nice and fast, and I like the customizations that they give you with your drink as well, including sweetness levels, and milk preference! Can't wait to see what their next seasonal drink is and come back!!
Nur House is a great new cafe with friendly staff and well made drinks. The chai is my personal standout, but their matcha is also very high quality. The breakfast sandwiches are served on focaccia and the cardamom loaf is delightfully bouncy and delicious.

This coffee shop has been hyped lately and I totally get it now. This is a new (2026), modern downtown cafe with a small menu of thoughtfully-composed coffee offerings. I'd seen a tiktok raving about the Salted Date Caramel Cloud latte, which is a pretty irresistable title so I grabbed that. I noticed they didn't even ask if I wanted cold or hot, and it didn't specify. It's cold. I've been enjoying iced lattes lately and this one was super, super delicious. I've been thinking about it ever since. Loved it, would get again. Again, the menu is small. In addition to their modest lineup of drinks, there are a few bakery items which look exceptional in the display case, like just look at those big swirly butter croissants. I got a pain au chocolat which was perfect. It was very busy at lunchtime on a Saturday, but I still found a spot to sit and hang out for a while. They were well staffed and keeping up admirably. It is spacious, lofty, and clean. Parking is just metered street parking but only fifty cents an hour. I wouldn't call it "quiet", but like I said it was quite busy the whole time I was there. I really liked it and I'll come back just for that Salted Date Caramel Cloud drink, or maybe to try something else.
My photos don't do justice for how good Nur was! Their space alone left a memorable impression; it was spacious, clean, had a good amount of seating options both indoors and outdoors, and very aesthetically pleasing. It gave a jazzy coffeehouse/lounge vibe which felt unique and refreshing. They don't have a huge menu, which I appreciate because it means they put their all into every item. My friend and I tried their Chai Latte, Maple Sea Salt Matcha, Butter Croissant, and Chipotle Cheddar Breakfast sandwich. I wish the sandwich came with the option to add another protein, but it was still satisfying nonetheless! The butter croissant was heavenly, and easily the best I've had in Minnesota. Not sure if they make them in house or source them from a local bakery, but either way I would come back just for them alone. It was so buttery with the perfect balance of flaky and soft. A must have for my next visit! And lastly, the matcha. It quickly claimed its place as my second favorite matcha in the Twin Cities! I loooove that you can customize sweetness levels (1-3). I hadn't quite found a spot that balanced all the elements of a matcha to my liking until now. I usually don't like my drinks too sweet, so Level 2 was perfect for me, though I'm tempted to try level 1 just to see if I would like it more. All the more reason to go back :) Overall, I left completely satisfied and look forward to many more visits in the future! read more

The mango sticky rice matcha literally lives in my head rent free! This cafe is so pretty inside and has an awesome clean, moody aesthetic that I loved. The staff were friendly, drinks were made quickly, and they had different options including matcha, pastries, and coffee. The mango sticky rice matcha was the best matcha I've probably ever had - I will absolutely be going back again! This cafe also has WiFi, plug ins, and outdoor and indoor seating. Parking can be tricky though. read more

Really delicious and aesthetically pleasing coffee shop. I love the nods to Somali heritage and all the artwork in the place. The service was fine - friendly baristas that served with a smile. They were patient with us as we figured out what we wanted. I liked that they have a mini fridge with other soft drinks and Honest juice boxes for the kids. I got the triple berry cloud matcha and the iced date caramel latte. Both were so delicious and creamy. It was some of the best coffee and matcha I've had - and such unique flavors too. I also really loved the cardamom spice loaf and the cookie. Everything tasted so gourmet. It was easy to find paid street parking on the weekend. I wonder how it would be on the weekday. I was so excited to check this cafe out with my friend! It's new to the area and has been getting a lot of attention. I got the signature date latte and a chocolate croissant. Both were good, but I had to ask where my croissant was since I wanted it warm. It took them a while to get it out, but it eventually came. The service wasn't the quickest but given that they are new some roadblocks are expected. I also used the restroom there and it could've been tidier. Hoping that they improve over time because it's in a great location and a cute spot! read more
This coffee place opened up right by me and I went to go check it out The inside is very spacious with high ceilings. It's decorated with a lot of gold accents. Quiet inside, nice area to come and do work. I didn't see if there were any outlets. We ordered the salted date caramel cloud iced latte and matcha. They were delicious! We also got the triple berry cloud matcha (almond milk and whole milk). We think that the triple berry cloud fit the matcha better, and the salted date caramel cloud fit the latte better. But either wa, we'll be coming back read more

We saw this place opened and wanted to try their matcha! The cafe itself is pretty minimally decorated, but doesn't look bad... More so refined. Their menu was a little smaller than we thought it would be but cashier was very nice and attentive. We ordered the berry cloud matcha and a chocolate au pain. The matcha is good but, I would say that the actual matcha taste could be a little stronger and not as milky. The cloud on top was super yummy! I hope they come out with more flavors. The au pain was absolutely delicious. It was so buttery and warm and flakey with the perfect amount of chocolate inside. My boyfriend and I loved it so much we came back ASAP to get 2 more. read more

Matcha was delicious. It was a little pricey but I'd go again for the atmosphere and matcha. Cashier was so welcoming and even complimented on my makeup. I felt very welcomed. Timing was okay, I'd say I waited for 10 minutes for my and my friend's order. read more

Cute and quiet cafe! They don't have a lot of items on their menu, which is good for someone like me who gets easily overwhelmed with 50 different latte options. Salted Date Caramel latte is one of the best lattes I've ever had in my life. If you don't like super sweet sugary drinks, this is definitely for you. You can taste the blend of dates and caramel and it gets better after it melts for a bit. The barista also explained how the drinks work (you can get salted date caramel with chai and matcha as well) and they were overall very helpful. The place was packed when we went there so we had to wait around 15-20 ish minutes but it was worth the wait. Blueberry scones are very yummy, and one thing I liked was blueberries are not dry and the interior texture was chewy. I will definitely be back to try their matcha!! read more

ok honestly i came back for their seasonal summer drinks. mango sticky rice matcha, thai tea matcha, etc. the mango sticky rice matcha is literally insane. it's so freaking delicious and somehow tastes exactly like mango sticky rice. the coconut flakes they put on top of the coconut cold foam gives it such a good texture. HIGHLY recommend trying their seasonal drinks. so fun and so yummy. read more

Wow the food here is so sweet and addicting. The drink just put me in Somali heaven. The taste is simply indescribable. I definitely intend to stop by here most days for their amazing date syrup. Truly innovative. The customer service was especially good as well. I felt truly welcomed the moment I stepped inside. read more
