I don't always write reviews; but, this place is Plant Lovers Paradise. We were greeted by Jose with great hospitality. There were just so many plants to look at. And the best thing is, the price! This nursery has to be the biggest secret amongst landscapers. I was in nursery heaven upon arrival seeing the huge variety of plants and trees on the enormous site. Came here looking for drought free plants to replace my lawn as part of the Santa Clara Water rebate. I couldn't believe their prices as they were nearly half the price of Home Depot (for example, the Blue fescue gallon at Home Depot is $9.48 and it's only $5-6 here). Jose and Brandon were super helpful and even delivered my plants the same day. Highly recommend coming here especially if you have a large landscape project. This nursery is a hidden gem! I need several trees to landscape my property so about a month or so ago o went to a large tree place in Gilroy and almost had a heart attack when they told me the prices of the trees. Thousands of dollars for small trees. I was starting to think I was going to have dirt and maybe 1 tree if those were the going prices. Well I came to this place a couple Days later and my faith was restored in the tree business!!! The prices here are so so fair and the owner is very helpful and friendly. Hubby and I were over in South San Jose eating lunch when we decided to go plant shopping to spruce up the front yard. I looked on Yelp and we stopped by a couple of places that were just OK and didn't have the 5 gallon sizes we were looking for. Thank God, I saw that Nursery Beautiful was well rated. I called and spoke with Jose. He said they had lots of 5 gallon plants in stock. Normally we would consider San Martin a little too far to go, but it was Sunday, and Jose had such a good vibe on the phone we decided to check out Nursery Beautiful. We had a bit of an issue finding it since the address states Carl Ct. The entrance for the nursery is actually on Monterey Road just a tad down the street from Carl Ct. The land is part of a huge lot, like a backyard for a housing compound on Carl Ct. The name is perfect for this slice of heaven as the plants and the layout are absolutely beautiful and amazing. So many varieties of gorgeous, lush and healthy plants expertly & lovingly nurtured by Jose and the rest of the crew who work there. Great friendly, and focused customer service too! Pricing is EXCELLENT! We will return again, and again. read more

I am only giving a 3 star because this nursery did not meet my needs as a consumer and as such I believe others may rate them higher or lower honestly. First off let me explain that I was looking for a succulent that flowers and looks really nice. They had maybe 2 different ones. Most of them looked near dead but I know from experience you can bring those things back no problem. Still most people don't pick a plant that looks near death they pick the healthiest looking ones. Now they did have a good selection of those Red Japanese Maples I believe they were some other smaller trees and lavender bushes galore along with other medium size bushes. Again this place just didn't meet my specific needs. It was not in general any sign of a bad nursery and the guy working there was really nice. Personally though I don't live in the area and wouldn't buy anything there again so really my personal rating is 3. Take it with a grain of salt I guess is what I'm saying here and judge for youself. read more

This place rocks! Nice local nursery with lovely caretakers. All of the plants are beautiful and well taken care of. The prices are more than fair compared to other nurseries around the area. They offered my husband and I water after he ate a chili pepper. They also offered us a bag of small chili peppers. My husband has been looking for a chiltepin pepper plant for the longest and we were surprised to find it at the nursery. Will definitely go again to pick up some more plants. read more

Stopped by here on our way home from Monterey to SF. Gravel lot with room for maybe 10 cars. When we arrived, Jose was assisting 3 women, walked here and there showing them different options, and even hauled their large plants onto their truck. When he was finally free, he approached me and another customer with a warm greeting. Very nice man. Huge selection of plants. $2 for succulent in 2" nursery pot. Pretty good prices for the bigger pots too. He only accepts cash or check. I also met his gf, Susan, who was just as friendly. read more

After my negative experience at another nursery in the area, I went here today. I'm so glad I did! The owner was helpful and polite. Plants all looked very healthy and prices were very fair. I spent too much time in the heat and had to leave with only five plants, but I will be going back! The owner not only put the plants in my car for me, but gave me a bottle of ice water. We've driven by this nursery probably a few hundred times and finally today stopped in. It is an amazing place. The staff was very friendly and highly knowledgeable about the plants they were growing and had lots of suggestions as to how to plant them at home and how to propagate them in the future should we want to do so. All of their inventory was extremely well cared for and pruned to perfection. They had a specific chili plant that we had been looking for which was super exciting. I ate one of the chili's which was super hot just before checking out and they gave me a bottle of water to help cool me down a bit. We also got a complimentary bag full of other chili's they grew which I am looking forward to trying later. Helped load the car, all in all a fun experience. I will make it a priority to shop here for plants over the other options in the area. Highly recommend! read more
