Awesome place full of what you need to get into shape let's go the best nutrishop I've ever visited

I have been a nutrishop customer since I lived in the Bay Area and now that I live in Long Beach, I have never had a good experience at the Lakewood location. I needed the pink lemonade hemovex and Pro7ein and the Lakewood location told me the product was discontinued. I have been using hemo for almost a decade and got sick of the Lakewood location trying to tell me it was discontinued and trying to push me a 3rd party product like Bucked Up. I decided to give the HB location a call and they had one left in stock so I decided to drive over. The owner Brandon was so nice and even honored my student discount ( which the Lakewood location stopped doing and only honors law enforcement). He also educated me on a few products, asked me my fitness goals, and gave me a sample of something which I thought was nice. Based off of my experience here today, I definitely will make this my main nutrishop even though it is farther out than the Lakewood location. They have a bigger inventory and their merchandise is super cute too!! read more

Stopped in this morning to do an Inbody scan and ended up doing the Inbody and the Evolt machine which was recommended by the super sweet gal there. I actually do like the Evolt better and think it's more accurate than the inbody but I'm no expert. I loved how effortless it was to go in to get it done. The gal was super knowledgeable and patient which is always a plus but the major bonus for me...she informed me of which products would be beneficial for me and for my goals. She also wasn't a pushy sales person which always scores a ton of points with me. There have a fairly large selection of supplements so it's easy to find what you need. Parking is ample as it is in a shopping center so you shouldn't have a problem in that regard. I'll definitely be back for my future scans and supplements. read more

I came here for some greens and hoped to use the body composition machine. I didn't catch the name of the kind woman behind the counter but we came in 10 minutes before closing (felt really bad about that), but she was so nice, helpful, and thorough in her explanation of our results. So excited to see how my results change in a few months and also interested in taking my time to check out other products next time I'm back! I purchased the nutrigreens this time to re-up on my greens and reds from 1up (delicious lemonade flavor). Unfortunately, they only had the tropical greens flavor (diff brand). It kinda tastes like watered down apple juice, not the best but not terrible either. Gets the job done! read more

Abbey is absolutely wonderful. Went in looking for muscleegg AND they had plenty in stock and a majority of flavors :) Also grabbed a T and tank to rock. I'm not sure why it's taken me years to visit this store, but I'll definitely be a regular here. Bonus: They have an InBody machine, free of charge, and also offer a rewards program! Today was my second time coming into Nutrishop and I am seriously blown away with how friendly both associates have been with me on my visits. Today Conner was great and helped me with all of my questions and made sure to ask me questions back to make sure I was getting everything I needed. He let me try a bcaa that I loved. He was friendly and made me feel accomplished with my body composition analysis. The last time I came in Aby was great and helped me with so many questions that I had. Being active and also health conscious, my friend introduced me to this place. I was looking for some natural solutions for staying fit, for maintaining my energy level, safe and is healthy too but I wasn't too sure what to get. The new store manager, Ivan, was kind enough to discuss my options and educate me on each nutritional supplements needed. He is very knowledgeable with all the products in the store and is a health and fitness buff too. Also, I like that he asks the right questions in order to understand both my needs and my expectations. He's honest and not a pushy sales guy. He's super nice and helpful! He did a great job cleaning, organizing and merchandising the place! The place is great for anyone who wants pre-workout, workout, and workout recovery supplements. I got some great antioxidants and sugar-free performance supplement powders - 1) Thermovex Sugar-free Metabolic Formula and 2) Nu-tek Nature's Fruits which contains 35 antioxidants. Great shop, GREAT employees. I just moved to HB and came into the shop to stock up on Thermovex (an essential for those days we need a little something extra) They have an awesome new peach ring flavor that Kayla introduced me to and told me about the New Year transformation challenge that was starting. This was exactly what I was looking for this year...a challenge in my new community. So I signed up and came in recently for my second weigh in. Keevin asked me specific questions about my fitness goals for this challenge and helped me with a meal plan to crush these goals. Not once did he pitch products but gave me tons of information about what would help with results and WHY. I learned more from talking with Keevin for 30 minutes then I did with my past trainers that I had spent months with. Fell victim to false advertisement. I received a text stating "buy 1 get 1 50% off on all items" for an early Black Friday Deal, and when I arrive, an unmasked employee tells me the offer excludes protein due to undesirable margins. Two days pass and I receive a text stating "ALL ITEMS" are 50% off on Black Friday. Aside from the false advertisement, the service was terrible. If you want to be greeted by an unmasked woman with her child crawling around on the dirty floor, go for it! read more

Originally I had a gift card to use at the location in Garden Grove. I had droved all the way down from San Bernardino area, to go to the store from where I could use my credit at. Well the manager at GG, said that it was no longer valid due to new "ownership". He then sent me to HB, Christina happily welcomed me. I chose MuscleEgg & Stance BCAA's. When I gave her my gift card, she said it wasn't valid at her location. I couldn't believe this guy gave me false information. Came here for the first time to get some preworkout, and the guy who helped me was very knowledgeable! He asked me what I was looking for in a preworkout and gave me some information about different options, and I ended up getting the Thermovex watermelon flavor. I tried it and it actually tastes good, which was the main thing I was looking for! Seriously if you work at a supplement store have some knowledge about that. These kids that work here have no clues about nutrition or what the products Contain and why! No samples of anything either, I am not going to purchase anything if there is not a sample of it so I know that I like the taste the flavor the substance if it's the Chokee or suitable if it's something I'm actually going to use instead of paying $50 for a simple BCAA supplement and if it sucks you can't return it. read more

I came in to do the body composition analysis. Aaron helped me out and was both very friendly and knowledgeable when answering all of my questions. I love good customer service and that really won me over. The only downside was that they didn't have any vegan protein bars which I would have loved to try out. One of the best supplement shops I've been too. My husband and I are avid athletes for lifting and HIIT training. We came here before a workout to grab some preworkout and met Ninh and Tucci who are the managers/owners of the store. We ended up chatting with them for 45 minutes and they even helped us with calculating our body fat percentage (they have an InBody scale that does very descriptive testing, for free). They showed us the products that work best for our individual needs and were completely honest. Obviously a component of sales but you can tell they care about selling us what we need and will use rather than just suggesting products to make money. Their products are very good, I highly recommend the Stance BCAA's in peach gummy. I am so glad we made the time to come in and were happy to meet them, we will be buying all of our supplements from them from now on. read more
