    Dubai pistachio chocolate bar
    Tara L.

I heard that Nuts Factory now carried the viral Dubai pistachio chocolate bars awhile back. So when I found myself walking by, I figured I had to stop in just to see if they had any in stock. Lucky for me, they did (which makes me wonder if the frenzy for them is dying down a bit.) Either way, I was excited to get my hands on one and find out if they were worth the hype. To be honest, I don't think I had ever actually walked into any of the Nuts Factory locations ever before this one so I was legit pretty impressed by the range of products they carry. I could have a had a lot of fun in there exploring, but I was on a mission and didn't have much time. The transaction was pretty straight forward. I asked if they had any. They did. The person working the register was kind enough to offer to get one from the fridge for me so that it was cool and fresh. I appreciated that. But silly me, I wanted to savor the experience so I threw it in my bag for a later time when I would be able to share it with others. That moment came and went, so when I finally got a chance to try a piece back in my hotel room the pistachio cream was kind of bleeding out of it, all gooey and messy. I guess that's why they sell it in a plastic container because despite it not being a warm day, the pistachio cream seems to loosen up and become quite messy. However, I don't think that really changed the overall essence of it. The chocolate itself was rich and luxurious and the pistachio cream with the crisp pastry flakes throughout made it quite a delicious bite. (And for $20 a bar, it better!) But overall, it was a simple it and out that let me see the cool little range of snacks and products in there. Service was pretty standard, but no real complaints from me!

Went in to try the viral Dubai chocolate. I tried the matcha Dubai chocolate bar. It was really decadent and also very very good. It was also really pricey for a chocolate bar. But for a once in a while treat it's worth it. I liked this version with matcha. They have a ton of nuts and dried fruits. Also different versions of Turkish delight.

I've never heard of nuts factory until they broadcast about selling the viral Dubai chocolate. So I decided to step in, they sell a variety of nuts per pound. You can picky any you want any type of nuts chocolate and put it in the bag together for purchase. I saw empty boxes of advertise Dubai chocolate but nothing inside. So I asked the lady if they sell it as it was advertised and she said yes in the front cashier. The lady took it out from the fridge and told me that will be $20 plus taxes. I was stunned and shock. I had never purchase an expensive chocolate bar before. To my excitement this better be good. I opened it up and the chocolate was hard and the stuffing inside was hard too. So I thought it needed to be left outside for a bit to not taste as hard. After a while it does taste a bit better love the pistachio flavor and the chocolate but won't buy again due to the high price.

Stellar customer care, with a welcoming good energy that literally calmed me down from a CraCra train ride in my BIG Metropolitan City . I had just exited the "1" train on 79th & Bway, for a ride home that should have been (let me be fair in saying...) at least 45-1 hour commute. NOT Ok, I'm a spoiled UWS "trap-hanger" commuter (Google if the term is confusing). I totally miss working in NJ, but realistically there was a delay in getting home from work; that's becoming the norm for sure. OMG‼ It should take me 30-45 minutes to get home. Oh No...that's just too much to ask the MTA! When a northbound train from Bklyn, is express, is forced to go local, turn back around and head to Bklyn; when the last stop is 96th? I decided to calm my energy down...walk home along Bway going north; and was pulled inside Nuts Factory store...because I felt the LOVE calling me inside the store. I was absolutely right and glad I did. The BEST decision I made for MeThe two staffers smiled as an entered, Stephanie & Zykara as I was immediately focused on. Zykara asked if I was looking for anything special, and I told her Cinnamon coated pecans, with a hint of sugar. Wow! She waked me over to a beautiful display, a plethora of pecans with a lovely variety of flavors. My smile was a permanent reflection of my Joy returning to my face, spirit and body language. THANKS NUTS FACTORY for your outstanding customer care towards me. You both ROCKED

Amazing nuts, sour candies and dried fruit. Beats anything store bought. Nuts roasted freshly on site without oil. Fruit is so fresh. Love it!

We decided to check out this spot for some snacks. They do let you try one piece of items you are interested in, so we got to try some random items. We ended up grabbing the pistachio covered hazelnut, dark chocolate covered almonds, spicy rice snack, candied hazelnut, natural mangoes. The spicy rice snacks seem less yummy after eating a few more pieces. The candied hazelnuts lost its pizzaz after a few as well. The rest of the items are good bite for bite.

We used to live in the neighborhood and came back into the city for a visit and to celebrate my sister's birthday. We went for a night walk and stumbled upon Nuts Factory which wasnt here before COVID to our knowledge. It was a pleasant surprise. They offer candy, teas, and an assortment of dried fruit and nuts. We tried the dried kiwi which was quite delicious.

Very good chocolate bar, very pricey but was a different experience. Next time we will try the Dubai Strawberry cup.

On a whim in the passage of my travels in Upper West Side, Manhattan, NYC on a rainy September Monday evening I decided to give this business the o' college try. I agree with previous Yelpers' of non-existential customer service as my primary reason for this three star review. This business do NOT acknowledge customers with any greeting as the staff appears stolid and very apathetic but methodical doing the work of re-stocking, cleaning and cashiering customers for check-out. The staff chatted amongst themselves all the while doing their jobs to sell the product, but that does not include providing service. I felt invisible and unwelcomed during my entire time freely browsing walking and viewing various nuts/ candy/ chocolate product. I wholeheartedly agree with previous Yelpers and feeling invisible, unacknowledged without any greeting or the standard "Can I help you?" was also my entire shopping experience. I am a pink and white collar worker working in the service industry for more than a decade as this staff requires extensive customer service training by a third party consultant. I decided on dried reduced sugar ginger for 0.62 lbs. at $9.98 per pound. Whoa, this is highway robbery at $9.98 per pound!! Excessively overpriced. The cashier Feona took my money and nearly robbed (aka scammed) me of my change for a measly $0.01 which the woman took from the gratuity jar. This business name aligns with its employees' stolid and apathetic wayward behavior for being nuts. It was a very despondent and utterly dispirited for a ineffectual experience.

Well lit and well organized store They had a 5% discount if you bring your own container The staff didn't seem too happy/excited to be working here though

We love snapper and so many of our fav restaurants stopped serving it. This is so tasty, seasoned to perfection! The dessert was also delicious, fried biscuit with berries and the vanilla ice cream did not taste like something you get on the regular! The place is beautiful and we loved the music! I knew all the songs and couldn't help singing and dancing in my seat!! The owner greeted everyone and made them feel as if they were guests in her home! GO! GO! GO!

We had high expectations but when the salad and the half of a deviled egg arrived I was honestly surprised. The presentation felt cheap and the portion was super small. The salad barely had any dressing. The main dish I got was lobster - good flavor but overcooked and rubbery. Tiny portion that left me wanting more food. Hubby had the steak, they did not give option how you would like it and it arrived medium/well done. The portions were so tiny I was still hungry, for the price I honestly wish we went to omakase instead. Oh. And they automatically add 25% service. Owner is very friendly and service was polite but for the price it felt like we got robbed. Not sure we'll be back, really wanted to like it but the only memorable thing was the music and ambience. I felt compelled to review because I really wanted the owners to see this and make changes. The potential is there but with many restaurants around, there simply wasn't anything special. Pls be transparent to your guests and include info about prix fixe menu on reservation next time, and perhaps give your guests more value for the money. $150 should at least be 4-5 course for the size that was provided.. I'm so sad that we didn't like it bc we live so close :(

We were left ignored for over 20 minutes after seating. Finally when the waiter arrived for a drink order we had asked for a coffee to start. That didn't arrive until almost another 25 minutes and were told the bar area was busy. The food itself wasn't amazing or memorable. Ordered the cauliflower app- the sauce was too watery and didn't coat or stick to the cauliflower. If it was thickened it would glaze the cauliflower and you could actually appreciate how good it was and the dish would be so much better. For the mains we ordered the salmon burger and lemon ricotta pancakes. Both were ok but nothing amazing. The worst part was the speakers playing a happy birthday song that was extremely loud that even 2 other tables looked confused and disturbed by it. It played for well over a few minutes. Day 2, I only purchased 2 items, as the other items I returned to purchase weren't in stock. You can see I checked out at 7:17 & they close at 7:30. Got home and 1 of the TWO items I purchased was not in the Zabar's bag. I call tonight, explained to the manager what happened, and that I only bought two items. The manager tells me to "bring the receipt in so we can track the item". What kind of customer service is this? Your cashier is busy chatting with her colleague about store closing, doesn't put both items in the bag, and now I have to pay MORE money to get back uptown, so you can "track the ($4) item"??? NOPE. The day before this, I spent over $150, not a single item missing. I recommend that you watch them like hawks as they ring your items and make sure everything makes it in the bag. I posted a photo of both receipts, side by side, Dec 15th & Dec 16th, to verify this. It's sad that an actual manager thinks this is acceptable customer service. That said, I will say that I had such warm, friendly, and competent service from Destini L on Dec. 15th. Perhaps Destini L. would be a better candidate than the manager who took my phone call tonight (Dec 17th).
