Decent cookies but there was no comparison to Levain Chose the triple chocolate and the PB Cup. The texture was dry and though they were fresh out of the oven, it was like they had been drying out & not freshly baked Definitely liked the melty chocolate part but not so much the crumble / fall apart aspect

Came for a free cookie for the pj party. Really cool event. Got a warm doubly mint chocolate cookie with extra chocolate chips for the taking. Really kind service. The food Insomnia is always a 3 for me. Really basic cookie. But this place was so happy and good vibes, I gotta give a four. The cookie was warm and surprisingly good. Plus an extra free cookie? Thanks so much for a great night!

So believe it or not, insomnia cookies don't really do it for me. I find that they're too sweet and I instantly get a stomachache . That said I happened to be passing by, and decided to pop in too peek at their menu options. To my surprise they had brownies, blondies and brookies. Of course I went with the brookie and it did not disappoint. It came out warm, soft and gooey while maintaining its shape. The brookie wasn't too sweet. I honestly wished I had some milk or ice cream to go with it. Skip the cookies and try the brookie out during your next visit.

Need to bring someone a "little something" and you want to get a big bang for your buck...Bring a box of Insomnia Cookies! There's a store on 79th and Amsterdam and every night walking back to my hotel, the line is wrapped around the street. During Covid, they only allow one customer in at a time, and I appreciate that. The store is spotlessly clean and the the guy working was so nice. I had no clue so I asked him to put an assortment together for me. He made sure my cookies were piping hot and explained that this is what makes them so special and they are delivered late night, hot and fresh to dorm rooms and homes, across the country. Who knew this cardboard pizza box of fresh hot cookies has a huge "Cult like" following among anyone under the age of 30. My son convinced me to bring this to a friends one night and I was a bit hesitant since it came in the pizza box. As my husband and I were walking uptown and we noticed eyes staring at the pizza box! Arriving at my friends, her high school daughter was ecstatic when she took the box from me. I then started bringing boxes of these cookies to the doctors office, where we noticed the doctor rushed the boxes directly into his office, never to be shared with his staff! I gave a box to the doorman at the hotel I stayed at for a month, who thanked me every time I walked in. These aren't just cookies, these are a delicious, warm, sugary overload designed to put a smile on anyone's face!

Insomnia Cookies 405 Amsterdam Avenue is the perfect location to stop for a cookie or two. It doesn't matter which location I visit they are all the same delicious cookies. I do frequently hang out in the 80's on the West Side. I always get my favorite M&M, but any of their cookies will do. It's grab and go so don't expect a lot of chatter with the employees. I just want to buy my cookies and go. I highly recommend.

Friendly, efficient service. Tasty cookie that was exactly what we needed at the moment, though a little more crunch and chewiness would've been nice.

Great location close the the musuem. You can even make your own cookie ice cream sandwich or scoop on top of a cookie.

Another one of their locations as this chain is around the city. During the past few days of hot swampy weather I wanted a cold snack and when I saw they had new ice cream sandwiches I just had to indulge in the Blueberry Cobbler. Was pretty darn good and I wolfed it down while walking up the avenue. No pictures needed as it was a melting mess and I put my phone away for this treat. As with most this place is open late and is a tiny spot.

Fresh cookie! I got the confetti deluxe cookie and it tasted fresh out the oven. Because of that, the cookie was very soft in the middle, more than I prefer or like. The edges were crispy, which made a great texture. The cookie is on the sweeter side. The ice cream was also on the sweeter side because it contains cookies in it. Tasted like a good, reliable scoop of ice cream. Service was very fast. They have the cookies ready. Small store with limited seating, so best to get it to go!

Baker's dozen. I ate bits of the broken ones to make it pretty. Yes. That's my excuse.

I swear there is nothing better to lift a mood than the surprise delivery of a box full of cookies. They deliver from 12pm - 12:45am. So that's from a late breakfast to a midnight snack. And yes, coffee and cookies is breakfast. They arrived still warm and melty. Oatmeal raisin is my perennial favorite but I loved every cookie in the box. The mint chocolate chip tasted like a massive Thin Mint. So good. The cookies aren't unusually large but I mostly ate them in halves. Made it last longer. Even a couple days in some of the chocolate ones were still soft. I'm still cooped up but being cooped up with delicious cookies and coffee is no hardship. At all.

The cookies are super soft and melt in your mouth... love the s'mores, Oatmeal walnut, and salted caramel yum!!!

If you've just had a sumptuous meal at any of the nearby restaurants, come by here to order one of their deluxe cookies. These are the best cookies I have had. The cookies are almost the size of your face. They are served warm and ready to eat. They are open till 3am staying true to their namesake. Get here early, the line for their cookies can get crazy long. Run! Don't walk to get here!!

The idea of a cookie shop with milk is pretty cool. Who doesn't love cookies right ? Insomnia cookies is open pretty late and they have a variety of cookies to chose from. I don't think there's anything like amazing about the cookies but they are good. The cookies are great whenever someone wants sweets other than muffin, donuts , ice cream etc... they can warm them up for you and again they have chocolate and regular milk . There's never really a long line and service is pretty fast. They also do cakes which is actually great for birthdays. Delivery available and open until 3am The cookies are about 1-3$ but definitely worth it. They have a lot of options to satisfy your late night snack with your friends. This location in Amsterdam is near plenty of bars do you can get a cookie after your night out.

Rather than ordering traditionally, we asked the kitchen to prepare whatever the chef felt inspired to create for us, and they exceeded every expectation. Each course felt thoughtfully curated, showcasing impeccable technique and exceptional ingredients, many beautifully sourced from Italy. His attentive, one-on-one guidance through each course, sharing the story behind each dish, from ingredients to origin, added a deeply personal and elevated touch to the evening. Very cozy, intimate atmosphere. The food is really really good, some of the best Italian in NYC. I love their chicken parm and order it every time. The other pasta's and entrees I've tried by picking bites off my husband's plate and those have been fantastic as well. The wine is good, limited menu but that's fine by me. We also ordered the tiramisu and it was divine! can't wait for the patio to be open to sit outside in the summer and snack and drink! Servers are really friendly, there's only one or two but they do a great job.

Which definitely was delicious and chicken was cooked so tender! And hubby got the cheesesteak sandwich by Fred's, which was also surprisingly delicious! We ended up eating there and did not take out. I liked how clean the place was. The staff was cleaning tables and it was a well kept spot. The food did have to wait a bit long, it was about 10 mins for our food. But it was ok as I was made aware when I placed the order of when to expect it. The food was ready within the expected timeframe. Overall will go again !

A generally positive experience and would come by again if I wanted something decently tasty and a slight step up in number of options compared to places like Dig Inn, Cava, Naya and Sweetgreen to eat in the neighborhood. This is a ghost kitchen with a variety of "restaurant names" and cuisines to choose from, and they have dozens of locations popping up in the NY metro area, marketing themselves as "a new kind of food hall." Order online, via their app or in person at a kiosk and food takes about 10-30 minutes to be ready depending on the time of day. Food is made to order and ingredients are fresh. Walking into this location kiosks and single non-gender restroom are to the back left, pickup shelves and counter to the back right, and about a dozen seats to the immediate right. We went with a couple of my tried and true options here: - chicken souvlaki and avocado open face pits sandwich from Yasas $14.20: comes with grilled chicken chunks, tomatoes, cucumbers, red pepper, feta, avocado, romaine, hummus, eggplant spread, and crispy shallots, on a warm fluffy pita. Kinda like a Mediterranean flatbread covered with lots of toppings. Tasty lunch fare. - build-your-own salad from Royal Greens $9.95+marinated tofu $2.50: choose your own lettuce and/grains mix, I chose kale and quinoa, add up to six toppings (I chose edamame, beets, pickled onions, cherry tomatoes, herbed broccoli, roasted sweet potatoes), two crunch toppings (I chose only croutons this time and seems like somehow they were missed), a mini pita (if it's early enough--sometimes they run out), with a choice of dressing (charred scallion is one of my favorites here). - for drinks ordered a Diet Coke $2.50 no description needed and Poppi root beer $3.50 which is a soda with less sugar than normal (5g versus 20g+). Generally speaking since there are many cuisines coming out of the same kitchen, feels like there are items used across recipes where some dishes may have ingredients and flavors that work better with other dishes. For example I've tried poke once from Hanu Poke and it tasted kinda like a salad from Royal Greens with chunks of not-quite-made-for-poke-cuts of salmon added. And the beef burrito from Limesalt tasted like it used similar ingredients as used in the beef souvlaki sandwich. To be fair the items that are unique I've tried so far are decent quality and delicious.
