    Ham and cheese croissant
    Iris H.

It's a small bakery with three tables and a standing area. They have lots of pastries from croissants to macarons. I tried the ham and cheese croissant and canele. I asked for the canele to be warmed up and it was nice and crunchy on the exterior with a spongy, custardy interior. It was still a little cold at the very center. The ham and cheese croissant was nice. It had some flaky layers and decent flavor. It came with a side of coleslaw if you order it for dine in.

Visited their old location a long time ago and really liked their pastries so thought I'd dropby this new spot. Inside is small and minimalist. Only three small tables that are constantly taken so I wouldn't bet on dining in. We got their early morning and they're already very low on stock so that's a bit disappointing. We tried the Egg & Cheese Sandwich in a Croissant and it's decent. Two eggs included which was unexpected. However, the croissant itself was very soft and soggy. The aioli was way too salty too. Could use some freshness from lettuce or tomato. Not bad but nothing I'd rush back to get. Staffs and service were also kinda meh.

Ordered croissant, almost croissant, a scone, and lemon curd deliciousness - all of these baked good were delicious. We also ordered some sandwiches for our upcoming e-bike ride alone the Columbia scenic roadway - we wanted 2 turkey and two ham but they said the ham was discontinued so we decided on blts - suboptimal - we noticed too late that all sandwiches were going to be made on croissants - well we have open minds we waited for quite a while honestly for the 4 to be made by an uncelebrated but hard working man in the back, while the two in the front failed to establish any rapore with us and talked amongst themselves while we waited an uncomfortable amount of time. Once done they said here are your sandwiches without looking at us. OK then. Sandwiches weren't really wrapped to go, more made for eating then and there even though we had mentioned in was for our cooler backpack for a picnic lunch. Also annoying. Found a plastic bag in our Highlander to help keep them from spilling out and all over our cooler. We did enjoy the sandwiches enough, and the pastries were great - but the interactions were less than fun - and the lack of ham sandwich without any sort of apology (oh sorry we no longer carry the ham sandwich- or put a line through it ugh) gotta sauce, the hero with a smile in the back making the sandwiches kept this place from going below 3 stars

Delicious lattes delicious pastries. My partner selected the almond croissants and I tried previously pistachio. If I had known there was rose pistachio I would have tried that but I missed this picture before having my partner pick up the order.

They're essentially 24/7 because during Covid they made the incredibly bizarre and ingenious move to put their insanely beautiful patisserie in old school slot-style cafeteria vending machines. So during isolation one could run out in your mask and gloves, stay six feet away from the person behind you, and yank open any door to reveal an amazing little dessert behind each one. It was a taste of restaurants (professional desserts!!!) that we all missed so much. But it wasn't a gimmick that went away like the closed bubble dining pods. The cafeteria vending machines have stayed. I've picked up multiple different styles to have lots of dessert options at a birthday, I've stopped there in the middle of the night for an after-hospital cheering up, it's basically made for wandering over after making love any time of day or night. They somehow stay beautiful, fresh, and delicious in this little gimmicky machine. It's fun, whimsical, and I think some of the best patisserie in town.

We arrived about 2:45 pm and found a fairly slow-moving line of 5 or 6 individuals; imagine longer lines at earlier times. Lone person taking and fulfilling orders was doing her best to keep things moving. Note: They accept credit cards, but a sign advised that they prefer cash. 5 tables outside, including 3 in a shaded area, were a welcome sight. Enjoyed med our lunch and treats in comfort. The pork in the pork bun was sweet and good. I was not a big fan of the hotdog in the hotdog bun, but the bread in which it was baked was fantastic. The giant black and white cookie was good, but not cookie-like; much like chocolate cake. We also sampled an almond frangipane tart and that was delicious! Prices were very reasonable.

Great prices for creative baked goods!…read more We dropped by shortly after their 7AM opening to pick up sandwiches and snacks for a big hike day. We shared multiple sweets as well, highlights included the mochi black sesame donut ball - nice amount of sticky mochi filling with a nutty flavor; the pandan coconut croissant, was flakey and large, just enough sweet. The raspberry pistachio frangipane was a lovely (and not so delicate - good for travel) tart. We also bought a coconut bread and the ube mochi bread (latter was fantastic) and both were shareable and great for a few days afterwards as well. The sandwiches also did just fine lasting until midday in a hiking backpack - the combo, BBQ pork, lemongrass pork, lemongrass chicken, and pulled pork sandwiches. We wished the latter three didn't all have the same pulled meat texture and that the lemongrass flavor came through better. Otherwise, reasonable and cheap meal.

Sunday morning at 11am my husband and I got a seat at the bar. It was pretty busy. As usual the fresh croissant was amazing, flakey, and buttery. I had the chefs omelette for the first time. It was exactly as I wanted it and the hash browns were nice and crunchy. My husband had the corned beef hash and it was so flavorful and delicious. I will order that next time. Ambiance is great and service was fast and friendly.

We were in at lunchtime and very pleasantly surprised at how quickly our food came. We shared a tuna melt, and very glad we had made the decision to share since it came and was absolutely ginormous. I love that they include tomato on it and some great cheddar cheese, but also appreciate the way the tuna is made, with some solid pieces of tuna, plus interestingly, some very finely diced carrot, which gave a slight sweetness and crunchiness to each bite. This was a really great sandwich. We had fries as our side and the french fries were perfectly golden. They are battered, but the batter was very light. Very good. My daughter's latte was excellent. Too full to have dessert, but we did take some croissants home for later; they just look so good. Everything in their dessert case is beautiful.
