Delicious lattes delicious pastries. My partner selected the almond croissants and I tried previously pistachio. If I had known there was rose pistachio I would have tried that but I missed this picture before having my partner pick up the order.

One of my favorite bakeries alongside berlu bakery and babcia bread. Their croissants (butter,…read morealmond, chocolate, savory) are my absolute favorite thing to get. If you can't finish the croissants day of, make sure to retoast them in the toaster oven! It will still be buttery and flakey and delicious! I love getting their bon bons as gifts for others (too expensive to just get for myself ) and my favorite pastry is their snickers bar. Gosh, not much else to say because others have such a good job with their reviews. They're currently looking for a new location and I'm sad to see them leave their old spot on Williams.

It's clearly a popular spot, and from what I hear, getting there early is key if you want their famous croissants. Everything we ordered was amazing a rocky road cookie, a chocolate croissant, and the ham and cheese croissant. Even two days later, everything was still tasty. The flaky layers were especially impressive. I'm a big rocky road fan and had never tried it as a cookie before this one was a winner and tasted fresh, not processed at all. Definitely looking forward to visiting in person next time.

A must-visit Portland staple that absolutely lives up to the hype. Started with a London Fog, which…read morewas smooth, comforting, and the perfect pairing for a slow morning. The quiche was rich, flaky, and packed with flavor, while the chocolate croissant had beautifully laminated layers with just the right balance of buttery pastry and chocolate. The fresh bread was the highlight, beautifully crusty on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, and everything you'd hope for from a true artisan bakery. You can taste the quality and craftsmanship in every bite. Service was swift and easy, making the experience seamless from start to finish. There was also a decent amount of seating available, making it a great spot whether you're grabbing something on the go or catching up with a friend over coffee and pastries. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting without being overly busy or rushed.

The pastries themselves were absolutely delicious. We had the morning bun, chocolate croissant, and…read moreham-and-cheese croissant, and all of them were excellent. The drip coffee was great, and the latte was creamy while still having a strong coffee flavor. The downside was the cleanliness of the seating area. We sat at a table facing the display, and after we finished eating, I noticed spider webs all over the walls(as you can see in the pictures). It made me wonder how a place with such a big reputation allows the establishment to get to this point. Please clean the establishment more thoroughly. Dust and spider webs should not be falling near the food your customers eat.

Love La Provence. This was our first time at the Petite location on Alberta. We visit Portland a…read morecouple times a year and always end our trip with brunch here. Sunday morning at 11am my husband and I got a seat at the bar. It was pretty busy. As usual the fresh croissant was amazing, flakey, and buttery. I had the chefs omelette for the first time. It was exactly as I wanted it and the hash browns were nice and crunchy. My husband had the corned beef hash and it was so flavorful and delicious. I will order that next time. Ambiance is great and service was fast and friendly.

I was treated crappily by staff who I observed saying my order was not their responsibility. Not everyone there was bad. The initial service I got was good, but my coffee was so poorly slapped together because I spoke up. My sandwich was also slapped together missing ingredients I paid for, so enjoy the extra money I guess. Here's how the interaction went. I was assured my mocha would be ready in a few minutes, before my food, from a really nice staff person who too my to-go order. They instructed me where to stand. I watched the person put together my mocha. All that was needed was ice. My food came out quickly and I took it while waiting for my drink. 15 minutes passed. Two staff members looked at my drink and one said "who put this here " and another person said "I don't know, not my problem". I spoke up and said "hey that's my drink and if you put ice in it, I promise I'll get out of your way" - it was busy and packed. I was trying to be understanding. One of them made a disgusted face at me and said "I was gonna put ice in it!!!" ... wow. Eventually they did. And did it so sloppily that there was mocha all over the drink. The top was put on poorly and the drink spilled all over me. I tried to tell another server who was greeting and seating people but they kept saying "oh it's okay! It's totally fine" - no, it actually isn't. I get it. You don't want my business of 15+ years, but there are nicer ways of conveying that. I was ripped off and treated in a way I don't treat my enemies. But just like my order, that's "not your problem", right?
