    Chocolate cake thing

It was okay. We went late before closing. No croissants sadly. We had a chocolate cake. It was a little hard and not worth the price. Too sweet. Inside was dark. There are benches outside to sit on.

Pretty expensive but anytime you come to a bakery like this it's a luxurious experience. We visited on a Sunday afternoon; many of the items seem sold out but what was left was still delicious. We tried their chocolate croissant and the seasonal earl grey blueberry cheesecake. The croissant has gorgeous lamination with a delicious thick filling. I had to swat my husband away from the last bite and he's not even a croissant guy! The cheesecake was also excellent, not too sweet which was a surprise. The blueberry flavor came through while the earl grey was more subtle. Both felt decadent. There's limited indoor seating, one long standing table. Self-serve water station with metal cups was a nice touch. Bus your own table. The one gender neutral restroom was very clean.

love the mushroom and peach pastry. very delicious and filling. the texture with the savory and sweetness taste had a perfect balance. it's very flaky and strong. it's a small place with limited seating. came in the afternoon and it was pretty empty. service was friendly.

Not oily, not mushy, perfectly baked croissants (and even this brioche donut). They had a char siu croissant we tried, likely inspired by LNY, and the char siu and pickled scallions balanced each other out with the crispy, crunchy, flaky sesame seeded croissant. We equally enjoyed their rosemary ham, chocolate, and plain croissants. My banana brioche donut was fluffy and lightly sweet (filling-wise) and not overly. Twisted got me twisted! Thank you!

The experience was horrendous and uninviting. The employee didn't greet me, the store was not kept up, and it was 4pm and the store closes at 6pm and they only had 3 items. Left the establishment disappointed and unimpressed not worth the time going. The worst part of the the bakery was the bad sign and the rude employee that seemed like they didn't want to be their. Luckily I'm from out of town and I will not be returning.

My sister and I stopped by this croissant spot in the afternoon, around 3 PM, so we knew we might be limited on options and we were. Most items were sold out, so we both went with the s'mores croissant. To be honest, it was more of a chocolate croissant with some light s'mores-inspired toppings. The inside was filled with a rich chocolate mousse, and the only thing that made it "s'mores" was a drizzle of marshmallow on top and a few bits of graham cracker sprinkled over it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't $8-worthy either. Texture-wise, the croissant was flaky but lacked that signature buttery, soft interior you'd expect. Instead, it felt a bit heavy and overbaked. I get that we came later in the day, but I've had croissants from other bakeries close to closing time that still tasted fresh, light, and delicious. If you're going to market something as a s'mores croissant, it would be great to see that theme carried throughout maybe with a marshmallow or graham layer inside, or at least more balanced flavors beyond chocolate. As it stands, this felt like a dressed-up chocolate croissant, not a true s'mores experience. Would I come back? Maybe to try something earlier in the day but I'd skip the s'mores

Twisted croissant has the most beautiful pastries I have ever seen. And an abundance of them. I came here once before a little after 4pm and they were sold out of almost everything so today I came back in the morning. I got the blueberry lemon pull a part-insanely good. It was almost like a croissant bread pudding but you could still taste all the layers. It did have a hair in it that I had to pull out which was unappetizing, but I understand mistakes happen. I want to come back here and try just a plain croissant. They also have great coffee. The pull apart was 6.50$. Something to note is there is no seating. So pretty much a takeout only spot. Employees are very nice. I believe they have 3 locations.

The tarts here are pretty good, but they sell out so early. We arrived around 11 AM, and all the croissants were already gone. The remaining options were limited, and they had no plans to restock for the rest of the day even though they close at 6 PM. If you want their full selection, get there early. Otherwise, you might miss out!

    Rose cream croissant

Didn't go here in person but my friends got me some croissants from here and they were amazing. One is a rose cream one, and the other was plain butter. Just goodness, flakiness in the right places, and enough flavor. This is as good as croissants you get in Paris. Would definitely need to come back and in person

Strawberry Crostata with Lemon Basil creme; Chocolate croissant
    Farah S.

Every item we purchased was delicious, especially the beautifully stripped chocolate croissant. Perfectly flaky, reminiscent of Parisian croissants. The lemon basil cream on the strawberry rhubarb crostata makes for a great combo and my kid gobbled up the Basque mini-cheesecake before anyone else could get to it. Definitely would visit again next time I'm in Portland.

It's clearly a popular spot, and from what I hear, getting there early is key if you want their famous croissants. Everything we ordered was amazing a rocky road cookie, a chocolate croissant, and the ham and cheese croissant. Even two days later, everything was still tasty. The flaky layers were especially impressive. I'm a big rocky road fan and had never tried it as a cookie before this one was a winner and tasted fresh, not processed at all. Definitely looking forward to visiting in person next time.

Staffs were super hard working during busy lunch hours and they're cranking out delicious sandwiches. Huge fan of the Chopped Bada Bing Sandwich! The Sesame bread was very well-toasted. Fresh ingredients were used for the filling. I love the slightly sweet mustard sauce that they used. You can get a half or a whole of their cold sandwiches which is awesome. A half is more than plenty for one sitting though. The Tu More Mole Sandwich was also super unique. This one only has one size, it seems. Very tender chicken mole stuffed to the brim with tasty salsa. Prepare lots of napkins for this one. Used real slices of mango to top it off but the glaze seemed like an artificial glaze, which didn't bother me too much or take away from the pastry.
