Later I was seen by a good retina specialist name Scott Warden, Everett Wa. to check my eyes and I made a big mistake visited Dr. Osetinsky as a back up, told me he can help my left eye see better by laser, his laser machine looked old. He zapped my left eye 16 times, 3 days after my left eye retina dropped. I remember I nearly had heart attack, rushed to Dr. Warden office, I was crying whole time, as fear of going totally blind. In 3 hours I had my surgery. After surgery in recovery room dr. Warden came, seemed angry, said 2 weeks ago I CHECKED YOUR RETINA WAS FINE WHAT HAPPENED? THERE WAS 6 HOLES I HAD TO REPAIRE. I told him dr. Osetinsky did this, he said we retina specialist never use laser machine to clear cloud. Dr. Osetinsky knew my left eye was my only vision but he did not care and damaged my only good eye.

I apparently owed $137 bill from the other location that I wasn't aware of so they sent me to collections and collections wants me to pay like $770 so I called to try and handle it personally with the two locations being I'm not even sure which one it was and constantly just talked down to talked rudely to put on hold three separate times having people pick up going have you been helped For me to be like I'm waiting on hold for somebody I'm not sure who only to be transferred to the Everett location that I was just physically at I don't know why everybody is so damn rude nowadays I literally went in with a smile on my face saying please thank you is it possible to leave a note for Dr. Warden or Ong Chin and they said yes but then once they found out, I owed the 137. They said we're not able to help you at all and I said I'm willing to pay the 137 no problem why are you guys so willing to just say go away I've had 13 eye surgeries by you guys do I not get some kind of respect for having my insurance cover all of those? It was over $2 million worth of insurance payments to cover all that as well as my license got taken away and Dr Scott Warden wasn't willing to sign the paperwork to let me get my monolithic license Even though I could pass all the tests he said now about five times so I'm very upset with retina consultants and I've been seeing them since like 2010 or something like that for diabetic treatments and again I've had 13 eye surgeries two retinal fusions on one eye scar tissue removal The whole nine and to be treated like this over the phone over $137 that I wasn't even aware wasn't paid is absolutely crazy. I've lost all respect for this business and it sucks because I really liked Dr. Ong Chin and warden was OK even though every single one of his appointments is a NASCAR appointment. You're lucky if you get 5 to 7 minutes to talk to him And he's in and out of three different appointments at once like how fast do they need to be how quick does the turnover need to be? I'm trying to get the information and records. I need to sue the company that caused my 70% blindness it's a five to $10 million lawsuit And they're not even willing to overlook or work with me to pay this $137 bill so I could talk to any of the doctors via a message even like what kind of world do we live in when you have to pay just to ask a two second question the the doctor who did 13 eye surgeries on you? Who are they the mafia like they were happy to try and schedule an appointment until they found out I owed 137 and I'm like well I'll pay that I'd still like to leave a message and again oh we can't do anything until that's paid and it's like dude I'm not paying 770 to armada or whatever the hell collections it is just to pay off 137 I owe you guys man what a joke I didn't even get a notice in the mail Probably have 4.5 stars cause 90% of their clients are elderly and just getting check ups I have 12 MAJOR surgeries and one simple one each one being 150-200k so I feel pretty let down by these guys at this point

Dr. Osetinsky laser machine looked old was set behind front desk and frankly I was skeptical of what he was doing was a right thing for my only good eye. I am 80 years old and needed the assistance for several years. About 10 days before surgery I got a phone call from the office saying the office no longer offered financial assistance so I would have to pay over $300 on day of surgery. I cannot afford to pay that amount. I was very upset as I had waited for this surgery for so long and now they were calling to say they didn't have financial assistance anymore. I feel that since I had the assistance when the doctor okayed the surgery they should have done the surgery. I chose NW eye surgeons for my recent cataract surgery May 2026…read more My initial consultation and post-op follow up was at the Smokey Point Clinic in Arlington. The surgery itself was in Mt Vernon. The Smokey Point office has wonderful approachable staff. The exam process is similar to what you're already used to from the optometrist who referred you. There are technicians examining eyes. Your surgeon also will conduct some exams and interview you. At this point you will decide if surgery is for you, and if yes, choose your lenses. Your surgeon and staff will answer any questions you may have. By surgery day you'll be well prepared. Surgery itself only takes 15 min. However, there is prep, such as IV starting, connecting to monitor, mild sedation, that will add to that time. Surgery itself is not painful at all. You'll be leaving with a see through eye patch. Your clear vision will return as soon as the effect of the drops wear off that dilate your pupils. It likely will take several hours. You'll be home resting by then. You will go home with instructions and a dedicated emergency number to call should you need it. Your biggest challenge will be eye drop management. If you can, pay out of pocket for combination drops. (About $70). My surgeon was Dr Kuzin. He has picked a great team to work with. Dr Eden did my post-op exams. Throughout my treatment I felt well taken care of. My outcome is excellent. I suggest viewing some videos on cataract surgery and selection of lenses prior to your first appointment.
