These guys mounted snow tires that I purchased on TireRack.com and, based on that positive experience, I purchased snow tires for my wife's car through them and had them mount those, too. What do I like? - Clean, professional - Runs on time; they make appointments and stay on schedule - Great advice; we had a great conversation about the pro/cons of studded snow tires (in the end, based on that, I went without studs -- argument is that they often take a cheaper tire, throw studs in it, and it might do well on ice but does worse everywhere else. Plus, apparently, new high-quality rubber compounds can do very well on ice without studs.) I would say the price for mounting the (run-flat) tires that I purchased on TireRack.com was pretty high. I think I ended up saving money by buying the tires from them and having them do the mounting as I did on my wife's car. Great store. My new go-to tire place in Bend. read more

The service staff just slapped a new tire on the rim and didn't ask if I wanted the others done or if I should replace the rims or get new sets of matching tires. I'm particularly picky about who works on my cars especially with aftermarket wheels. I had heard good things about NW Wheel Repair. I don't let just anyone near my car. I try to do my own repairs but when it comes to wheels, powdercoating and mounting I don't have the equipment. I had a few people recommend them. I stopped by to scope things out. The shop door was open, I peaked in and to my surprise, everything was extremely clean and well organized. I went to the waiting area which was also very clean and spacious. Dave the owner answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable. Since then they have powdered a set of BBS wheels and switched out summer and winter tires.
