I shopped around and decided that this was the place to get for new tires. Safety is my number one priority for my family. When I came into Central Tire , I was treated with respect and professionally. I explained my situation about getting four new tires and the price I was looking for. One thing I was happy to see was the wide variety of tires that they had. We came to an agreement on the price of the tire and within a short period of time the tires were installed. The price I paid was exceptional, compared to some of the other places. If you are looking for tires, I would definitely call Central Tire.

And nothing was done about this situation by management. I went to Les Schwab they got me in and out quick fast and in a hurry.

I had to put tire on my Dodge Ram and was staying at the Moose lodge in La Pine, right across the street from the Gills Point S took it there to have it aligned. It was wondering a little so I told Evan. He explained that if they found something it would have to be fixed prior to the alignment. Which I know. They found needing immediate attention needed. Tiered drag link, tiered pitman arm, Alignment. Also Ball joints. And rear shocks. I was willing and wanted it fixed before I left the following Monday. Told them I was free Thursday morning or all day Friday. It was the first of the week. Tristen said he would get back to me. That was Monday morning Tuesday I called him because I haven't herded anything. He said he was waiting on the parts house to get back to him. Never heard another word from this shop. I hate Schwab but from now on I will trade with them when in that area. They have lossed my trust. I spend a lot of time over there. I know I will not recommend that shop. I know Gills also has the same name on one in Bend. Just wanted the owner of both to know the one in La Pine just lost my business and anyone I know in the area will be informed.

And waited. And waited. "Someone will be right with you!" Waited another 5 min. Saw same guy walk back into bay and ask another guy, "Has anyone helped this guy get?" Finally get a guy over to check my tire. It's got a leak. Park it and check in inside. Here I am 90 minutes later (the lobby has 3 people including me) and my car is still parked in the lot. No timeline was given other than "We'll get right to it." Just asked about the status and of course the answer was "Oh, you're next!" That was 15 minutes ago. Spoiler Alert - I wasn't nextMeanwhile, no fewer than 4 employees standing around in the bays, BSing. I'm done with Schwabs, my biz is going to Point S and Costco from now on. UPDATE: At the TWO HOUR mark, my car has been pulled into a bay.

They said it would be quick since the tire was already off and cost would be $300. After a long hour, they were ready to check me out. They replaced both rear tires and charged me $600. Id been there nearly three hours, at the end of a long day. I didn't have the energy or documentation to appeal. Les Schwab scammed me. They beat me down, did not follow my instructions, did not have me sign anything indicating my instructions, so basically up charged me. I will not be going back to the 3rd street Les Schwab. For future work at other locations, I'll ask for a written work order printout. I feel scammed. Maybe cause I'm a woman? Are tire techs on commission?

I asked to see for myself the puncture. It was NOT in the side wall. The employee stated that they have to scuff the area that was close to the side wall and it would compromise the integrity of the side wall. Now with the nail removed the leak was no longer small. I went elsewhere and got fixed up no problem. They tried to up sell four tires for over $850 when a simple patch would suffice. Not the Les Schwab it used to be. You have now lost any business that I would have sent your way. No wonder all the layoffs.

She was able to understand our needs and walk us through sharing our location. (We had a coolant leak in our pickup about 10 miles west of Sisters.) She found a driver that could be there in 3-4 hours. In about two hours, she called to say the driver was on his way and would be there in about an hour. Russell arrived as expected, was very friendly, conscientious, and thorough. Kept us informed about the steps he was taking and delivered us and our pickup and fifth wheel to the dealership. He even dropped us off to pick up our rental vehicle. They made an unfortunate situation as positive as they could! Thank you both!

Casey was kind enough to drop what he was doing and come rescue me. It was probably the shortest tow job he ever did (5 feet) but I would have been late to the campsite if I hadn't come across Casey and Cascade Heavy Rescue. Thank you for saving the day. He pulled the van forward, I climbed in and activated the battery boost button (jumps the chassis battery with the rv house battery), started the van and re-parked it a couple feet from the fence.
