I did not receive a ride from them so I can't comment on that, but when I went inside a convenience store in Bentonville this taxi driver came rushing through the parking lot and double parked between a handicap parking spot and a walkway. I figured he parked there briefly to let his customer out, but he actually parked there and stayed for about 10 minutes. It may seem Patti for me to care so much, but when you have your name plastered on the side of a taxi and other business names on the side of a taxi it really makes you look awful. read more

We were driving around near elm springs road, it's already Christmas... people are rushing around and the roads are stressful. My girlfriend was driving, being cautious, using turn signals, and this maniac pulls behind us from NWA taxi and gets close. Avoid a stressful, miserable, and unprofessional experience. I had 2 experiences with this taxi service. Both times the drivers were late for pick up - the second time I heading to XNA and they were **20min** late, and rude and defensive about it. Go to another taxi service. read more

A little expensive ($45 for 12 miles from the Wal-Mart ISD building to XNA), but they arrived promptly and the driver was friendly and professional. I'd use them again if work was paying for it. read more

I wish it were possible to rate less than one star, but it is not. This is the second time I have been stood up by this company and was offered no apology, just excuses. The first time was almost a year ago and I missed an important doctor's appointment because of it. I decided that maybe I was just unlucky, so I decided to try again this morning. I called an scheduled five hours in advance and when the time came for them to get me, no one showed up. No call or anything. So fifteen minutes later I call and the lady tells me that they only have one driver and he's not anywhere near Fayetteville. Ironically, it's the exact same excuse I got last time around. I called another cab company and they were out and picked me up within ten minutes. I will NEVER call NWA Taxi again. Of course, it probably won't be an issue because they will not be in business much longer. read more

I've been in the hospital with my mother for a couple days, and I needed to get home. They arrived in 20 minutes after my call. The van was spotless, and the driver Rick was so kind. Zero Stars. I called for a cab and the dispatch lady told me that it would be 30 minutes. Okay that's pretty standard. After an hour of waiting I call back to check the status. The same dispatch lady, who sounded like she was on pills, said that she never sent the cab cause she never got the call from me. Terrible attitude and full of sh*t. Unacceptable. One of their drivers almost ran me off the road after following so close I could not see the Taxi's headlights in my mirror. They then sped around me going at least 55mph in the 40mph zone we were in. This happened at 4:30am with no traffic and no excuse. Called their office in Rogers and got the brush off. Should of called the police instead. This happened in Springdale, AR but the cab had their Roger's number on it. Taxi #307. Pass on these guys if you value your safety. read more

This is not the sort of business i normally review, but i wanted to note my appreciation for NWA Taxi. I have used them on a couple of occasions, both for a business-type errand, and for transportation to and from Dickson. In each case, the drivers arrived at the scheduled time. They were polite and friendly, and the cars were very clean. I'm especially impressed with the service i received this very evening. I had a late pickup scheduled, and my evening turned out to be shorter than i'd planned (considering the party started at 6, perhaps scheduling a 1:30 pickup was a fairly optimistic estimation of my bar stamina). I called, and the lady on the phone was happy to change my time, and even routed me a cab to come pick me up as soon as one was free. Furthermore, the driver, a very friendly gentleman, was up front about being new to the fayetteville routes, and was totally willing to ask for directions to my apartment (its sort of tucked back off the main road, it can be difficult to find without precise directions). Instead of driving around until he found it, he did what was best for his customer. I appreciate that kind of service, and i would be more than pleased to both recommend NWA Taxi, and to use it again for my future "i don't want a DUI" needs. **A quick aside on prices: cab service in Northwest Arkansas is what i would consider to be on the pricy side. I don't think that's NWA Taxi in particular, as much as it is just the market here. I've lived places (like Austin) with cheaper cabs, but unless a new company comes in and undercuts the prices significantly, this kind of is what it is. Its not ideal, but, then again, a $15 dollar cab ride is a hell of a lot cheaper than a $2000 DUI. read more

We arranged for NWA Taxi to come pick up an elderly couple who wanted to leave a wedding early. We had arranged for a 9:00 pick up earlier in the afternoon. It was an outdoor wedding and they were cold, and were ready to leave early so we called NWA Taxi back to see if they could pick up at 8:00. They said no problem, they would be there. At 8:15, we called the company at see what was holding them up. They told us that "joe" (the owner) had cancelled the reservation. I told them I didn't know "Joe and we did not cancel the reservation or tell anyone else to.The dispatcher didn't have any additional information for me about who cancelled the reservation or why. She said she could send someone out but it would take a minimum of 90 minutes for them to get there, but probably more like 2 or 2-1/2. At that point we canceled the taxi and had to leave the wedding to drive them back to their hotel. They had two different phone numbers for us, and if "Joe" decided to cancel the reservation for any reason, the least he could have done was let us know. I would never recommend this company if you want to reliably trust that you will be picked up. read more
