They sometimes have live music too, although we didn't' get to see this. The grill has exceptional service and offers poolside dining during the day. It also has AMAZING beach views. Each morning, we enjoyed espressos before our walks.​ The food is outstanding. The steak was a highlight--perfectly cooked and flavorful. I tried the pesto salmon, and while the flavors were delightful, the salmon was slightly overcooked. The tempura was a standout--crispy, light, and not at all greasy. The bruschetta was also delicious. They have a huge menu and plenty to explore if you're staying for a while. Note: they are closed on Tuesdays! We were bummed about that, but happy to have had it one night during our stay!

A bottle of wine and our appetizer arrived promptly. The salad quickly followed. Then we waited. And watched the place get very busy. And waited. At 8:00 I called our waiter over and politely asked if our entrees were near. I was assured they were. At 8:30, I caught his attention and asked (with much frustration) what was going on. At 8:45 (2.5 hours after ordering), I told him to cancel our entrees and bring the check. At 9:00 pm we received our food. I first told him to take it back, but then relented. THREE hours after arriving. It's not the miss, it's the response. No one seemed to care at any point. The GM or chef didn't show up with an apology. No entrees were comped. This also happened to us last Valentine's Day when they were swamped. I told them I would never be back and promptly cancelled our reservations for today, Valentine's Day 2026. We have friends visiting over the next months and have cancelled plans with them as well.

I browsed around and was obsessed with their beautiful murals, their typography they have around the restaurant and even their bathroom is a cool spot to spend a few minutes (ha). The margarita was on happy hour and definitely made me very happy! And their guacamole was on point! But as I went to leave I was informed about their best sales point of all -- their rooftop bar! I returned later that evening to hang out on their rooftop deck to enjoy a great live band, delicious cocktails and stare longingly at their BEAUTIFUL mural on the wall by @adamisaacjackson -- this ALONE is worth the trip. They also serve margaritas by the pitcher, which is literally illegal in the ridiculous state we are from so we were very excited at this option. The sweet and sour sauce for them was very good, great flavor and not overly thick. I asked for the curry to be hot, but not too hot, it was pretty mild. Definitely worth giving it a shot when you're looking to switch things up. Like most of PV, it was good and it was spendy (about 1,400 MXD for 2 mains, combination fried rice and 3 pork egg rolls + 1 lemonade).
