Craving some NY Bagels and was in the area. Stopped by to get some bagels and spread. I didn't opt for breakfast or lunch bagels, maybe next time. I got 1/2 dozen for about $10and asked for a variety, just wanted to try all the different flavors offered like, raisin, chocolate chip, strawberry, everything bagel. I opted for plain spread and the honey almond spread 5/5. Both spread were . Next time I gotta get the chives one for a savory taste. They had a rainbow bagel but If anyone interested. Service was good and quick. Will need to grab some more next time!

I was craving New York bagels and found this local spot. I stopped in, and the staff was friendly, food was very tasty, and I definitely recommend an everything bagel with cheese, egg, turkey, sausage, and cream cheese. Will definitely be coming back must try, if you've had New York bagels.

First timer here and this place exceeded my expectations! I loved how my order tasted fresh off-the-grill, evidently made-to-order service (unlike most bagel shops that have their eggs & ingredients sitting in a warmer for a while)! For this, I will be returning! Bonus points for how adorable NY theme in the restaurant!

We got four bagels and nobody was too happy about what they got. I got just a rainbow bagel with one of their sweetened cream cheeses which how could it go wrong however the bagel was tough and really chewy. We also got two breakfast sandwiches and a lox bagel.

Located in the area of CSUF, NY Bagel offers a variety of customizations to satisfy your bagel cravings. Staff was nice and accommodating. They messed up one of our bagels and quickly made a new one for us. Lox Bagel: Fresh salmon but a little too heavy on the cream cheese for me. I had to scoop some out because it got overwhelming (I know, the best part right?!) Sunrise Sando (sub bacon for sausage): The bagel was delicious and came out hot, but I would recommend not getting it on a garlic bagel. They do toast the bagel, so the garlic got burnt and made the entire thing a little bitter. There is a parking structure right behind the shop and they offer free validations.

I love breakfast bagel sandwiches so I was excited to see a new bagel shop had popped up in the area. The menu has a decent sized offering and I decided to get the "Sunrise Sando" ($8.75) which included a couple of eggs, cheese, avocado, bacon and tomato on a bagel of your choice of which I opted for Sourdough. While it couldn't top one of my favorite bagel shops in the north OC area, it was still a solid bagel sandwich that I thoroughly enjoyed. Perhaps I should have gotten it on an Everything bagel or Garlic bagel instead though. The interior of the restaurant is fairly spacious and has a decent amount of seating for a bagel shop which I appreciated. The restaurant felt clean and I also appreciated the cheery smiles of all the workers. There's a nearby parking structure which I parked in which was convenient and the restaurant doe validate for parking however, I didn't need validation when I came in on a Saturday morning as they apparently keep the structure gates open on weekends.

Grabbed a quick lunch here and was pleasantly surprised that the chicken here is halal. I got an everything bagel and it was delicious, the grilled chicken pesto sandwich was my favorite. Clean interior with friendly service.

We randomly stopped here for a quick breakfast before our Black Friday adventures. This local bagel shop is located within walking distance of the CSUF campus. There is limited street parking or you can park in the structure nearby. The shop is small but, there is plenty of seating available. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We ordered two specialty bagels. ::CTA - cream cheese, tomato, and avocado with a dash of lemon pepper. I opted for no tomato. The bagel was soft and nicely toasted which gave it a crispy texture. The cream cheese was on overload so I just scraped some off. ::Lox - choice of bagel, cream cheese, lox, red onions, tomato, and capers. This classic creation is always good. Overall, the bagels were fresh but not quite the NY bagel. The authentic ones are much more fluffy. I guess this is as good as it gets on the west coast.

Great spot for a quick bagel pick-me-up! I came with my boyfriend around noon to find it VERY empty. My guess is because school season might be over so there are no CSUF students around. There is free parking validation if you parked in the structure or you can temporary park outside on the streets. We ordered a Lox on an everything bagel and a Sunrise sando on a garlic bagel (sub bacon with turkey sausage). They mistakenly forgot to add the tomatoes and the avocado that comes with the sunrise sando. We told them and they kindly made a new one for us! Even told us to keep the one we had. They were super nice about it! They didn't skimp out on anything - maybe added too much cream cheese for my liking on my lox bagel. They toasted it as well. Overall, loved the quick and nice service! We hope to be back.

If you're looking for some fantastic bagels with great service in North Orange County, look no further than NY Bagel in Fullerton. My husband and I had tried several of the popular bagel spots around the area and all were disappointing. As former New Yorkers, the quality of the bagels at NY Bagel are outstanding compared to some of the shops in North Orange County. This has easily become our top spot to get bagels when in town. The establishment is on a side street close to CSU Fullerton. Their establishment is new and well-maintained. There is plenty of seating options available for customers who would like to dine in. Upon entering for our first visit, we were surprised to see the owner of our favorite bagel place in the Inland Empire standing behind the counter. After experiencing so many misses with the other local bagel places, we knew we had to be in for a treat based on the quality we experience from the owner's other location. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. We ordered a few bagels to go: - Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on an Egg bagel - Bacon and Egg on a Garlic bagel - Cinnamon Raisin bagel - Rainbow bagel Everything was super fresh and sandwiches were cooked to perfection. Tasted just like we ordered from our favorite spot in NYC. We could not be more ecstatic to have found our go-to bagel spot in OC. If you're still reading this trying to decide whether to come in or not, the answer is absolutely, yes!

They're soft opening and we happened driving by so wanted to try it. Service was quick and the staff at the counter were helpful. We got the chicken pesto on an everything bagel and it was delicious! The mozzarella cheese melted cheese pull and the pesto was very fragent which made the sandwich flavorful and not dry! Would come back again.

This is a solid bagel place. I work around the corner so I stopped by to order half a dozen - 3 plain and 3 everything - to bring home to my family. They were baked to order and delicious. This will definitely be my new regular now that 85degrees is gone. I do wish they had better coffee. Ah well. For parking you can get validated parking for 2 hours in the lot next the the entrance or the first 30 min free. alternatively, if you're lucky there's street parking right in front for 20 or 30 min. read more

A cute little place by CSUF. Their menu is very straight forward and lists all of the ingredients. We saw that they were putting out fresh bagels so we got the CTA and lox on the everything bagels. They are very generous with their cream cheese. The service was really good and staff were friendly. You can tell they really enjoy working here. They also have free WiFi and validate parking for 2hrs. 10/10 would come back. read more

1st time trying NY Bagel. Disappointed with 1st visit. I went early in the morning. Morning bagel bins weren't full yet. I was the only customer in the store so multitasking wasn't an excuse. Bagel was burnt. I'm okay with a little char from toasting but this was excessive. Enough for the char flavor to overpower the bagel. Preparing bagels is what they specialize in. Interior is nice and new since the shop recently opened. They don't have a true espresso machine but do offer coffee drinks from an automatic machine. Taste is subjective so here is my take... I personally like cream cheese with just a bit more texture. Theirs was a little soft for my liking. Not bad at all. Just personal preference. I'll give them another try sometime in the future. My first visit was subpar. read more

this place recently opened up near me. i have a go-to bagel place in my hometown and have yet to found one near me that compares. the bagels that i love are boiled and baked, making for a fluffy and crispy bagel. i liked that NY bagel didn't skimp on the avocado. they also have a generous amount of cream cheese (slay). ultimately i feel as though the bagel itself could've been fluffier and crispier. not sure if it's boiled and baked like a real NY bagel. the service was nice and the interior was clean! i noticed that they have other breakfast options like acai, french toast, and omelettes too. i might be back to try some of their breakfast food items. read more

This place was recommended to me by a friend. I was very excited to try this new bagel place that opened up near me! I have tried other bagel/donut shops in the area but none that have me excited to come back. Service was very quick and nice, the cashier helped me decide on my order since it was my first time. The inside was clean and not very packed. There was a decent selection of bagels left despite me coming later in the day around 2pm about two hours before they close. I ordered a lox, cream cheese, tomato, onion and capers on a garlic bagel and I really liked it! The bagel has a great garlic flavor but was very crispy, almost too hard to bite into. I ended up removing the top half of the bagel and eating it open faced which I really enjoyed. I'll be back soon to give their breakfast options a try! Overall a better option than some of the other bagel places in the area, walking distance from CSUF and not too expensive which is good for the students in the area! read more

Just tried this place for first time. We don't have many good bagel options around and the other chain shop nearby is not fresh and overpriced so this is as a pleasant surprise. We were able to bring our dog and that was a bonus! Everything is made to order and fresh. The bagels were very good. I love that they offered beef bacon as an option, that's super hard to find! Can't wait to come back and try more. Also their prices are very reasonable and place was clean and service was great! Highly recommend! I want to try their lunch sandwiches next. read more

Either some of the previous reviews are a little harsh or the establishment made the needed changes after receiving the feedback they received because my bagel was fresh and delicious. I was so impressed with the quality of the ingredients. I placed my order for pick up and I was in and out. The workers were really attentive as I was helped as soon as I walked in. Parking was easy and NY Bagels is right next to the parking structure. Took me no more than 3 minutes to park, receive my food, and be on my way. First 30 minutes of parking are free but if you decide to eat there, they do validate parking. Also, I'd like to add that a previous comment said the bacon was black, my bacon was not black--in fact, it was cooked perfectly. My only feedback would be that my jalapeño bagel didn't have jalapeños assuming it's supposed to have jalapeños but nonetheless, I thought my bagel was delicious and I will definitely be back!! PS: idk if this means anything to anyone but my bagel was so good I forgot to put hot sauce on it smh. read more

Let me start off by saying, I LOVE BAGELS. Especially a bagel breakfast sandwich. I wasn't planning on stopping, but after picking up a drink next door I said "why not". Honestly great choice, they have a good amount of selection (but not too many where it's overwhelm) they have breakfast, and some pastries, coffee, and other drinks. Workers were nice and food quality was great. Easy stop, has lots of tables, and calm ambiance. Definitely coming back. Oh! And prices were super reasonable too! read more

The bialys are just what I had hoped they would be. The inside of the bialy was fluffy soft and the outside was cooked to perfection. You can park on the curb and run in to grab your food. The service is very good and the staff is more than willing to go the extra mile. Major thumbs up to this place. Hope they are very successful. read more

Phenomenal chicken salad sandwich! Wow! I got mine on white bread, and it came with plenty of chicken, walnuts, onions, cranberries, just right amount of mayo, and fresh lettuce/tomato. It was bomb. I haven't tried the bagels yet but will be back. It's rare to find a good chicken salad sandwich these days. Now if they only carried Dutch crunch and squaw bread ;) Service was great, clean store, and seems locally owned and not a chain. I'm happy to find a good breakfast/lunch spot since 85C is sadly moving away. read more

Wish I had an experience to rate it 1 star but my troubles began before I could even make an attempt to step in the actual store. We placed an order for pickup for New Year's Day. We checked to see if they were open yelp said they were and they left their toast tab open. When we got there closed. Obviously that's fine since it was a holiday. But then after numerous attempts to even call them or get in any sort of contact with them we couldn't. Never got refunded had to call the bank. Never once got reached out to, to sort the problem but ultimately had to resolve the issue myself. This post is not to bash them but the situation we were placed in was extremely annoying and inconvenient. Hope next holiday you guys turn your toast tab off. read more

The gentlemen working were so nice! Great selection of bagels, savory and sweet ones even a rainbow bagel! They made my sandwich and bagel with cream cheese quickly and wrapped it nice and even included a smiley face:) Will definetly be coming back, prices are definetly fair! I got the Asiago cheese bagel with egg, cheese, and bacon, and then a strawberry bagel with blueberry cream cheese and it cost be 13$ before tip ! read more

Dont go here! Its a bagel shop! THEY HAD NO BAGELS! All they had was everything bagel! Ok FINE not a problem i asked for a lox sandwich. No cappers. I got a ROCK HARD bagel w nothing on it just a little cream cheese and a little salmon nothing else! TOO expensive . Not fresh, rock hard AND burned. I live in the apartments above this bagel place and was literally ECSTATIC when I found out a breakfast/bagel shop was opening. The area desperately needed a bacon, egg, and cheese provider, and trust me, they PROVIDED just that. I went this morning and got an asiago cheese, bacon, and egg breakfast bagel, which was delicious. It was well-seasoned and fresh, and the bacon had a good crunch/chewy ratio. I'm super excited to try their sandwiches and sweet bagels (they had rainbow, strawberry, and chocolate chip). The staff were super sweet, too, and you could tell that they cared about their new place! I will return as often as possible, and you should too. The store used to be a waba grill (i lived in the apartment complex for awhile now) and so there's a lot of seating. Thank you for reading!!! read more

We are always in search of good bagels and yesterday we tried NY Bagels on Commonwealth near Chapman by Cal State Fullerton. They have a great variety of flavors, all made in house. Good meat choices. I had a sandwich with egg and turkey sausage and my husband has his with Beef bacon, sooo good. Owner and staff was nice. However, I recommend parking in their parking lot, in the back. That way, you get a view of the garden before you place your order. It's still nice in the front, very welcoming. You walk through the gate, up the stairs, and through the front door. It's nicely air conditioned inside. Indoor seating looks like someone's dining room. The counter is near the back, on the left hand side. I grabbed a menu to take a look before I ordered. Food items listed on one side of the menu, and so many drink options on the other side. Little overwhelming. Too many choices. Coffee and non-coffee drinks. Although they offer paninis and avocado toast, I ordered a regular spicy pork cupbap ($15) and Dubai chocolate latte, iced ($7.75), paid at the counter, and received a pager. When the pager started buzzing, I went inside to pickup my order. My drink was basically a dessert in a cup. Absolutely delicious. So many wonderful ingredients on top. The spicy pork cupbap is spicy. I mixed it all up like I would any bibimbap. It consisted of white rice, glass noodles, red cabbage, pork, and a perfectly fried egg on top. Delicious. They offer a large size, but regular is more than enough. I decided to sit outside, in the back, to get the full garden experience. Although Fullerton is a little warm in June, the garden is absolutely wonderful. It's like sitting in someone's backyard, but on steroids. You shouldn't have trouble finding a spot to sit. There are so many tables and chairs, all over the place, around every corner: In the main garden, in the garden in front, on both sides of the cafe, on both porches, the one in the back and smaller one in front. It's a garden of Eden, with a large, fruitful lemon tree standing in the center. Green plants and trees all over the place, flowering plants and succulents. There's a large gazebo and umbrellas to shade you from the sun. Fun, whimsical displays throughout the garden, including bird houses, curated displays, and miniature communities. Service was welcoming and efficient. I highly recommend this cafe if you're looking for a nice outdoor garden to eat, drink, and hang out.

Pro tip: if you're in a rush, don't do a mobile order.

Bagel wasn't that great. Doesn't really taste like a NY bagel. Only reason this place has good reviews is because they have a sign saying if you leave a review you get a free coffee. I had the Sunrise Sando on a Jalapeño bagel which didn't even taste like a jalapeño bagel, wasn't good either along w/ the coffee. read more
