Fresh baked bagels on a Sunday morning is one of the best things. This location is a small unassuming bagel shop located in the corner of a small strip mall. Walking in looks clean and fresh. You could see the large oven in the back. Their bagels are crafted light and airy as opposed to the more dense one and once they bake it it has a very crispy show. The flavors are great and the various cream cheeses and you could tell that this is a family own business. Definitely won't be back. read more

Stopped by for a Bacon, Egg and Cheese and it was delicious! I opted to add chive cream cheese and that put it over the top! The bagel itself was well made and the fillings made it a great meal. Service was friendly and attentive! They are located in a simple smaller strip mall, so it is an easy place to swing by. The meal was on the pricier side for what it was but it still hit the spot nonetheless. read more

This will be a short review compared to my usual reviews. I was driving around this morning and saw a sign that said "Buy One Sandwich, Get One Free." It caught my attention, so I pulled over to check the place out. I went up to the counter and asked if I could get the sandwich deal, but the guy told me it's only for lunch. I let him know they should really make that clearer on the sign--because that was the only reason I stopped in. I was a little irritated but decided to at least try something, so I ordered a jalapeño cheese bagel with plain cream cheese. It was fine. Nothing to write home about. The flavor was okay, texture was decent, but the cream cheese was too whipped for my taste. I like a little more substance to it. So yeah, an annoying experience and just an average bagel. I give this place an "eh" review--and I won't be back. read more

Satisfied customer here! I was driving and added a spot to my maps for breakfast and this place came up and immediately sounded perfect. Yes it was too. I ordered the house special coffee, it's just like a Vietnamese coffee. And I ordered the number 8 prosciutto bagel sandwich with jalapeño cheese bagel. It was all delicious and gave me the perfect breakfast I was in need of. Cozy place tucked in small corner. Very tasty. read more

Our first time here and we love it! We had their Asiago cheese bagel with cream cheese and half egg cheese croissant and it was amazing! Our smoothies were delicious! We saw nothing but fresh fruit! Stopped in while our car was getting some work done, picked up a veggie deluxe on a sesame bagel, a veggie omelette sandwich on a jalapeno cheese bagel, and a house special ice coffee. Every bite and every sip was delicious! The veggie deluxe is perfectly seasoned with super fresh veggies, the omelette sandwich was hot and cheesy. The house iced coffee was sweet and strong. 11/10 on food and service! The ladies working the counter were friendly and efficient, absolutely busting those orders out and taking the time to answer questions about the menu. Everything was bright and clean inside the restaurant with some current tunes playing over the speakers. Highly recommend, good vibes, good people, good food read more

This is a small hidden gem! The place is nice and clean, and the staff is always super friendly. Their selection of bagels is awesome and they're fresh. This is def one of my favorite bagel shops and I make sure to stop by for a sandwich or bagel whenever I am remotely close. They have a great selection of breakfast sandwiches and even their rolls are made fresh in house. If you take anything home take a tub of their honey walnut raising cream cheese, it's delicious! read more

Super yummy, huge variety of bagels and they are all chewy and crunchy just how a bagel should be! Service was super fast and welcoming. I got the heavenly veggie on the works bagel and it was so good. Also, we got the egg, sausage and cheese bagel and the chocolate chip bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Next time I'd probably just get the regular cream cheese, but the strawberry sure is popular because the party behind us also got the same thing! We also tried the house special iced coffee which is similar to a Vietnamese coffee just with added half and half! They also sell their cream cheeses in little tubs in the fridge! You have an option to dine in or take out as well. Definitely will be coming back. read more

Absolutely phenomenal! The bagels were so good and soft, they melted in our mouths. The perfect amount of cream cheese on top! They have their "soft opening" right now with a deal of "buy one sandwich get one free" which is a fantastic deal! We weren't ready for full sandwiches but we saw them make one and it looked stacked full with toppings and meat. The service - super friendly and kind! I just discovered this bagel shop today. Totally awesome since there really isn't any bagel places on this side of Buena Park. I got the Works bagel with lox cream cheese and it was delicious. Ordered the Fifth Avenue Lunch Sandwich on a Works (everything) bagel and a Passion Fruit flavored Green Tea. Fantastic! No complaints. The food was great and they have a wide selection of bagels. Service was also really nice! The drink took a minute but it tasted great; worth the wait. The nice lady who made my drink even asked if it was too sweet, needed more sweet, or if it was good as is a couple sips in. A small little place on a corner, a block down from a busy street, it's unfortunately easy to miss. Simple but inviting interior, offering a couple small 2 seat tables inside. Fantastic for coming from work in the morning like me or really any time of day. Their menu is extensive, with bagels w/ cream cheese to breakfast and lunch sandwiches on bagels or rolls. As for the name, apparently the Blue Mountain Bagels permanently closed and Fresh Bagels and Cafe opened here. Now they have a location in Buena Park, but I'm not sure if that's still open or not, however their Yelp page is still here. So hoping they create a new one for this GG location or update it.

We decided to dine in since it wasn't busy and we weren't in a rush. Our $20 bill became more than $26. We always tip, so my bf didn't notice it was more than usual before he tapped his card. We got the receipt texted and noticed they charged a "dine in tax" that was equivalent to the sales tax! This wasn't posted anywhere and the cashier didn't disclose this either. There was no crowd, so it's not like they were rushing to get through the line. I understand maybe they want to make sure they get tips for extra effort when people eat inside, but they basically got tipped twice. And my biggest gripe is they should've disclosed this before we paid! We would've taken it to-go instead! Even places that charge a small fee for using credit cards have a sign or let the customers know verbally. And this is a bigger percentage than that. It just felt sneaky and icky, and makes us hesitant about coming back.

The location has plenty of parking and plenty of seating. There is an outdoor patio, and inside there is a first floor seating area, and a second floor seating area. The interior had high ceilings and modern practical decor. Staff will take your order at the cashier, but they also have a kiosk if you want to avoid human interaction. I was here for a few hours, so I started off with a hot beverage since I saw that they have mug service. I had the hot Churro Latte ($8.15/large) and I was warned it's a bit sweet so staff suggested that I get it less sweet. I appreciated the gesture but maybe that's why I didn't taste too much of the churro flavor. It tasted like a good regular latte but maybe they held back on the caramel and cinnamon to the point I couldn't detect it. Seating is first come first serve. It was actually really busy and difficult to find an ideal spot. Since I was alone I sat at a high top ledge, strategically near an outlet. From what I saw, they had a really good amount of outlets in the indoor seating area. Later on I went back and ordered an iced Blueberry Lavender Matcha with Cold Foam ($9.25/large) and a Deluxe Avocado Toast ($15) which comes with egg, bacon, and herb oil. I like that this location serves the avocado toast with a knife and fork cause it was much needed. It was a bit on the wet side. Maybe I should ask for light herb oil next time. For how much this avocado toast cost, I would have liked more avocado. The avocado was more of a spread, not whole slices of avocado. Still good, just an observation. The blueberry lavender matcha was okay. I could taste the lavender but it was overpowering the matcha and the blueberry was hard to detect at all. Honestly the location and plentiful seatings is what stood out most from this experience. I would consider coming back since I know their products are good from trying their other locations but I wouldn't get the drinks I ordered this time. For how expensive coming here was, I wish I was a little more satisfied.

I've passed by before during the early morning hours though, and it can get pretty busy, which says a lot about the place. Parking is convenient, and it's easy to get in and out. Service was prompt, and my drink was made pretty quickly after ordering. I also love that they seal the cup with the vacuum-style top so you can pop the straw through.
