Very often, I give 5* reviews, but the owner, Mr Shlomi, did an outstanding job in cleaning my basement from a dirty water spill when I was having my old water tank removed and replaced. This was no easy task. The water spill you can see from the picture was very dirty and godknows how old it was sitting in that tank. The smell was also very awful, but I reached out to various carpet cleaning companies in my area, and he was very responsive. He answered all my questions very quickly and gave me feedback, which led me to pick him up for this job. He has equipment that is truly commercial grade, which costs upwards of $5,000 dollars to ensure that you're getting the best cleaning possible. He didn't cut corners. I saw this and I really liked it. I have had others do cleaning of my carpet before but always had to ask you miss this spot or can you move this furniture and clean under it but with him I didn't need to do any of that. I bought a rug off Craigslist that smelled bad. I called this place and they said cleaning would be $99. Shlomi came and said the rug has mold and the cleaning will actually be $575. That was way more than I paid for the rug, but Shlomi did a whole song and dance about "This is a beautiful, high-quality rug, it's worth saving. All that's wrong with it is the mold." I said sure but shouldn't have. One week and $575 later, he returned but refused to come inside to help me lay it down. I knew something was wrong. "I have to run, here, take this." He dropped the huge 8x10 rug on my shoulder on the sidewalk. I carried it upstairs, laid it out, and my heart dropped. The edges were frayed, it wouldn't lay flat, and it was no longer soft but stiff and chunky. I called and Shlomi said this was water damage that their $575 deep cleaning was never going to fix. He offered me more services like "blocking" that would cost hundreds of dollars more. Instead of a refund, he said he would "keep his eye out if anyone is looking to buy a rug like this". Sure. I'm sure they worked hard on the rug. Shlomi sold me on the idea that if I paid for his $575 'super deep cleaning', it would come back as good as new. It came back ugly and tough. If I'd known how it would come back (ie if Shlomi had been truthful) I would never pay such an extreme cost for a rug cleaning. Also, the rug still smells! You can tell whenever someone leaves a negative review, Shlomi responds and blames the customer. He cannot take responsibility for anything. If your order is screwed up you will never get a refund. EDIT: Immediately after posting this he texted me an angry message about how he couldn't believe I would "repay" him like this (by leaving a review). This text was unsettling to receive. Revising score from 2 to 1 star. Left the rug on the sidewalk because it still reeks after Shlomi's $575 cleaning. read more

I scheduled a couch cleaning service and was given a price of $109 for "professional shampoo steam cleaning and deodorizing free" with an estimated arrival time between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, as confirmed in an online conversation with Tony. However, by 1:45 PM, no one had arrived, so I reached out to Tony for an updated ETA. I was informed the technician would arrive by 2:30 PM. Unfortunately, the technician, Patrick, did not arrive until 2:50 PM--well beyond the window I was initially provided. He did not acknowledge the delay or offer any apology. Instead, he proceeded to inspect the couch and asked how much I had been quoted. When I informed him that I was told $109, he abruptly stated that the service would now cost $140. When I inquired about what additional services justified the price increase, he seemed unsure and asked me which services was I told previously. My silk and wool rug was badly water stained and had a couple of other old stains that happened before a prior cleaning. Shlomi quoted a price for cleaning that was similar to other businesses but said that he'd have to do additional color restoration to make it look ok. He convinced me. So it wasn't cheap. He said he could get to maybe 90%. Well, they got it to probably about 97%. I could not ask for more. The rug looks beautiful and you'd never know it had been damaged. Truly expert job. I called Carpet Diem NYC asking for an area rug steam cleaning at home. WE had a Moroccan white/black 100% rug for about 8 years. A person by a name Shlomi arrived and convinced me that the Moroccan shag 100% wool rugs cannot be steamed at home, that the only way to clean them was at a professional facility. The service price changed from $100 for steam cleaning at home to $325 facility cleaning. The following week Shlomi pick up the rug to have it cleaned at their facility. I mentioned that I will be away for 2 weeks. When the rug was ready, they didn't call me to arrange a delivery and dropped off the "cleaned" rug when I was away. When I opened the rug, the color was ruined. The rug turned into a yellow/orange color. When I called this person Shlomi inquiring about resolution, he was abrasive on the phone. He said that was the original color of my rug and I can file a claim at court if I want to. I have attached images showing to original color of the rug and the color after "cleaning" . The after picture has an ivory pillow on top of the ruined rug to see color difference. UPDATE: Tony B replied to me review practically claiming that I am a lair. Now Tony B is also claiming coming to our home. We were dealing with some Shlomy - is Shlomy and Tony B the same person going by different names? Facts: - we received an estimate of $100 for a steam cleaning. - Charged $325 cash to have the rug taken to their facility to only get ruined - no one called about delivery, the rug was simply dropped off. Would not recommend. I was quoted $150 deep cleaning for 1 room. Or $275 for deep cleaning 1 room + steam cleaning 2 rooms by Shlomi. I sent in photos of the entire room I needed deep cleaned and everything. When Shlomi arrived he said the square footage was bigger than he thought and charged $275+tax for one room. Had he asked about square footage for an accurate quote, I would've provided it to him. Nevertheless, I reluctantly paid for the service before he started, as he demanded.
