The rice and peas were cooked perfectly. I love collard greens, and they were perfect as well. I would recommend this place and would definitely come back.

The owners are the same, so I put in a name change request on Yelp. The food here is very good. What makes this restaurant a stand out above the other Jamaican restaurants on the Island? The Okra and Salt Fish dish. I seldom see that anywhere. I guess a lot of people don't care for okra. I do. My parents cooked it all the time. Also the Christmas fruit cake is incredibly moist. Most other Jamaican restaurants need to put more rum in their cakes to moisten it up and give it more flavor. If you are ever in Copiague, stop by Jamaica Sunrise. There is plenty of free parking in a relatively big lot.
