Food was delicious! My dinner came with a salad. I ordered the roasted pork (pernil) and I chose rice and beans with it. The plantains (amarillos/maduros) were really good, but it didn't come with my dish, so I had to order a whole order. The passion fruit margarita was good and I had a lot of leftovers. You can eat in or take out. The waiter was attentive and nice.

Not only was the food delicious but at a certain time on Saturday night it turns into Karoake night . We had 12 people in our party and they were able to accommodate us. Friendly service ! Amazingly delicious food and drinks. We had so much fun dancing in between songs after dinner. The skirt steak was large portioned you're able to split it. We ordered 4. We got one each of the empanadas beef cheese and chicken. My favorite was the beef although all of them were delicious. The had strawberry shakes, papaya shake. Horchata, margaritas and mojitos. We tried a little bit of everything and portions were so big we had leftovers for breakfast the next day. Definitely would recommend.

I came here on a Monday afternoon. The restaurant wasn't packed. We found a table and sat down. A waitress brought over menus. I came with 2 of my friends. They had a great lunch special where you pick a meat and rice (yellow or white) and it comes with 2 sides for $10.95. For my appetizer, I ordered a beef empanada and chicken empanada to try. They were both really good. We didn't know what cassava was so the waitress brought us some to try. It was amazing. I plan on going back for more. My meal was tasty except I didn't like the sweet plantains. They were on the hard side and not sweet. I had no room for dessert so we just got the check. For the amount of food we ordered the price was great! This was my second time here and I enjoyed myself again.

Craving authentic Dominican food and this restaurant git the spot. When you come in there is Spanish music playing and aroma is just delicious. We sat down at one of many tables on a rainy Sunday afternoon. No one else was in the restaurant but we saw people coming in for takeout the whole time we were there. The restaurant is clean. The wait staff is so friendly. We had sancocho and chicken soup. Both were fresh, full of flavor and the servings were huge! I wish I lived closer. I'd go back often.

Came here for lunch with some work friends. Wish I didn't have to review it. It is so amazing. I don't want any lines. The ladies behind the counter were so sweet. Anything we wanted the took care of us non stop. The food was fresh and perfectly prepared. Oh and the music. Come on I might as well be on the DR

While in the area, looking for good Spanish Place and this is it!! Started off with empanadas: chicken and beef. The main course comes with salad or soup. We had one of each, the soup was amazing!! (Forgot to take pics) The hubs got Mofongo with pork. Let me tell you it was amazing. I abs fried chicken, chicharron de pollo with rice abs gandules and beans. Great taste, will definitely come back .. They make mixed drinks too!! Not sure why people do not give it more stars, it's deserving!! Give them A try!!

The pernil was juicy, the chicharrones had the perfect crunch, and the mac & cheese tied everything together. I was so hungry I barely even took a picture before diving in -- that's how you know it's good. Huge shoutout to the guy serving us too. Great hospitality, super friendly, and he even recommended some drinks that paired perfectly with the food. If you're in Westbury and craving real, comforting Spanish food, this spot is a must. Reggaeton played over the stereo as I gazed down and the mexican buffet that outstretched in front of me. When the man behind the counter greeted me I asked "Is this a greek deli?" He told me that it was. They have greek food and Mexican food! I have never heard of such a combination, i was intrigued. I told him that I would like a greek salad with chicken. He went over the different styles of chicken they offered and I decided to get the regular grilled chicken... until I looked over at the roast pork. He suggested I try it. He handed me a piece of some of the juiciest pork I have ever had, he suggested why not top my salad with that. I had never even considered such a combination. All the locals line up for this delicious food, and it's so worth it! Delicious food, great prices, generous portion sizes, large variety of menu options, great customer service! They have a HUGE menu! (See my menu photos). Most items (not all) are premade, and kept in hot steamer tables, ready for your order. There are a few items that are made to order. Our mofongo took about 15 min for them to make, but we didn't mind. The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating. They took such great care in packaging our food. I was so impressed! Each item is overflowing the containers since the portions are very generous. They make sure to wrap each item individually, in plastic wrap, to avoid any kind of spillage. Don't waste any of the delicious juices and gravy! I really appreciated that the food didn't get spilled in the car before I got home! Kudos to the staff! We tried: -- Sancocho Soup ($11/Large): comes with a pint of white rice. Comfort food at it's best. Very good! -- Mofongo w.Pork ($10): comes with a small container of gravy. The Mofongo itself was a bit dry but good after you include some gravy. Very good and worth the wait! This was a great first experience and I can't wait to go back to try their goat stew, roast pork and other goodies. This restaurant is very busy, so the fast turnover for the food kept the dishes fresh and tasty. Rincon Dominicano is more of a takeout place but if you'd like to eat in, they do have about 10 stool seatings by the counter looking out of the window. Restaurant is very clean. If you're just normally hungry, skip it because the entrées are more than enough. I had the steak with mushrooms and onions. The steak itself was cooked well, but I would've loved more mushrooms, and personally I think it would pair much better with rice and beans instead of French fries. The chicken options also felt a little limited compared to the long list of steak dishes. The appetizers could use some love too. Three empanadas on a plate and calling it an appetizer felt a little... phoned in. Give us a little flair! Service was a bit confusing because it seemed like everyone was helping every table, so we never really knew who our actual server was. We asked for the check because we had a show to get to, got an "okay," and then watched our server head over to another table first. Cue everyone checking their watches. The drinks were tasty, but I'm still on the fence about whether they were freshly made or not. Overall? It was a decent experience. The portions are generous, the steaks are the star of the menu, and there's definitely potential here. Would I rush back? Maybe not. Would I tell you not to go? Also no. This is one of those places where you'll have to grab a fork and decide for yourself.
