My first issue involved the billing department, which sent me to collections without ever notifying me about outstanding insurance checks that were supposed to be forwarded to their office. I received no bills in the mail, no notice during any of my visits, and wasn't made aware of the outstanding balance until I got a collection notice months later. Only then did I learn about the checks and the balance--from the collection agency, not the doctor's office. To make matters worse, the collection agency informed me that I would be responsible for collection fees, even though the fault clearly lay with the doctor's staff. When I contacted the billing department directly, the representative I spoke with was incredibly unprofessional and dismissive. Thankfully, after escalating the matter, the billing manager acknowledged that the mistake was on their end and arranged for the checks to be sent directly to the collection agency, resolving the issue. The second issue occurred today. I arrived for a scheduled follow-up appointment at the Port Jeff Station office, only to be told--after sitting for 10-15 minutes--that they had no record of my appointment. Instead, I was told I had been scheduled for a nutritionist appointment today (which I never made), another appointment tomorrow, and yet another for Friday at their Huntington office--all of which I never booked. I was then told they could not see me today because they were "triple booked," per the front desk staff and her supervisor. This level of disorganization and lack of communication is unacceptable in any medical practice. Patients deserve to be treated with respect, professionalism, and basic competence--none of which I experienced at this office.

She was very gentle, She told me that she was gonna use the most minimal amount of botox to make it affordable. That could give me the results that I wanted. Immediately before each injection, She gave us a numbing cream so we wouldn't feel anything and then she asked us to make the Same expressions so that she was able to inject exactly where we wanted the result.. The injections never hurt. Afterwards, we were given really pretty sparkly ice packs that we could take home in case we felt any discomfort, which we didn't!!. We were asked if we would like to come back in two weeks to make sure we had achieved the results we asked for. I was so confident in the way she injected and her professionalism that I knew. I didn't need to make that appointment... It's truly crazy how amazing Botox is... The results make you feel ten years younger. You can smile and take a photo and not feel like you're gonna have old age lines. I know they do a lot of other amazing stuff with fillers. But at this point, I just wanted my lines to go away.. They accomplished that for me without any surgery and without any pain. I'm very grateful. I highly recommend them, so trust them. This team is amazing.. That was couple years ago n I won't go anywhere else now. Yes, sometimes u have to wait a while even though u had an appt, but this is because she gives all her patients enough face time, thoroughly evaluates you and genuinely cares about anything that could be wrong w/you. She takes same day appts and THAT is hard to find too. The office a beige, older house that was converted to an office on 112, but I go there for the service. Her nurses have all been great. Always very nice! Abid, the practice Mgr, is one of the warmest people ever and truly cares about their patients like Dr. Shilpee does. Christina at the front desk who makes all the appts and is prob the office Mgr always really does go above and beyond to get you in ASAP n very flexible w appts too. She cares just as much as everyone else there and WILL get you in. That's the most important thing. Dr. Shilpee is sweet and very knowledgeable. I've since referred my mom there who agrees w/everything said here n made her her GP as well. She just loves her very thorough care and won't go anywhere else for past couple yrs too. This yr I also got my boyfriend a 1st time appt so he can get his Covid test needed for travel n once again she scheduled him immediately. Now he goes for physicals and Covid tests regularly.
