I reviewed this dump once before back in 2020. Scathing review…read more A WARNING TO THE PUBLIC....Do not go here. Repeat, Do not go here. You will be devastated and heartbroken. The staff there is racist and they will discriminate against you. I have had nothing but problems with this office from day one 3 years ago. Bottom line is they don't care. If they don't like you, they will cancel your appointment and give you some bullshit excuse that you are the problem and will accuse you of being rude. That's a pretty shitty way to run a business. I've been working in health care since 1981 and I've seen it all. But this place is the worst. They claim that I called the insurance company and complained about them and the doctor. Well the patient has a right to complain. I might also call the state medical licensing board and file a complaint against the Dr. and her license. This office Is not a professional doctors office. It's a day spa run like a car wash; and you are the car. As I've stated before in my other reviews. In this day and age a business can't afford to jerk around with the public. Bad reviews can be devastating to their reputation. What's ironic is that other patients have had the same experience gave them one star reviews as far back as a year ago or more. They cannot be trusted. And as for the 3 doctors who founded the business, they should be embarrassed that the staff they have is highly unprofessional. __________________ Seems nothing has changed. They dont answer the damn phone when you call. The other day I had an appointment that i had waited a month for. I was on my way and for 25 minutes I tried calling to let them know I'm on my way, they never answered. Then when I got there, I get some lil shit with an attitude, and an even bigger shit, with an even bigger attitude who canceled my appointment for being late. Tried to explain that I've been calling for 25 minutes and no one would answer, it's not my fault. They just didnt care. Beyond racist. They either like you or dislike you. I feel sorry for my P.A. for working with this trash as she really is very caring and nice. This is gross negligence on their part and is a denial of medical necessity. Im waiting on a call back from the office manager and if i do not here back, i will be contacting my investigator at the state.

All was pleasant, professional and thorough. He gave me a tiny container of Vaseline (more than enough) for the excision site. I was called a couple of days later with reassuring words from the path report. The office is conveniently located and the parking lot ample, with ramps for mobility needs. Unlike many professional offices, the waiting room looks like a stylish, upscale yet unpretentious doctor's office, not a skincare products boutique. Dr. Rackett invited me to call for follow-up or new problems. I'd extend the same to you.

Reception told me that the dermatologist had set aside a specific amount of time for my appointment and that I would need to reschedule. I understood and rescheduled the appointment for a couple of days later. I attended the rescheduled appointment and paid my bill in full for the procedure at the office. At no point during my initial phone call, when I rescheduled, or when I was physically in the office for treatment was I told that I would be charged a no-show fee. This was especially confusing because I had called ahead to explain that I would be late and was instructed by the office to reschedule. Weeks later, I was charged a $50 fee for the original appointment. If there was a cancellation or late-arrival policy that applied in this situation, it should have been clearly communicated when I called or when I was in the office for my rescheduled appointment. I could have understood the charge if it had been explained at the time, but instead I received a message weeks later stating that finance charges would be applied to an unpaid no-show balance I was unaware of. Very disappointing experience. It feels like the practice is more interested in collecting $$ fees than treating patients fairly. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

The…read morestaff at SoCal Skin and Surgery were extremely professional and understanding during the whole process. The price they quoted were also very fair. Dr. Nadimi did an exceptional job removing the mass but more importantly, kept me and my family calm and informed during the surgery as well as making sure everything healed properly after the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Nadimi and the team at SoCal Skin and Surgery.

Beware of their billing practices. I was quoted $150 out-of-pocket to remove a single milium,…read morespecifically because insurance would not cover it. I paid by card that day. I later learned they billed my insurance $289 for a separate office visit from that same appointment, which hit my deductible. My records show two notes for that one appointment: the milium procedure, signed the day of my visit, and a second note for facial acne, signed the following morning. The claim was for treating acne vulgaris on my face, a condition I did not come in for, was never told I had, and was never diagnosed with out loud. Tretinoin was raised by the doctor as an option for the single milium, and it appears in that first note. My asking her to prescribe it apparently became a second, billable visit. When I called to ask why a self-pay cosmetic visit had been processed through insurance, the billing manager told me this is simply how they do things and asked how I could not know that. He agreed to waive the balance but said he could not void the claim, so the charge and diagnosis stay on my insurance record. He then told me I was no longer welcome at the practice. Get it in writing, before your appointment, what will and will not be billed to insurance, and check your EOB afterward against what you were quoted.
