A decent, local, pub/bar establishment. OIP has been here in the Brandon area for many years. The food is ok, nothing fancy, and use of the fryer is the main cooking theme. There are sandwiches and burgers too Bier was cold and great tasting.

I thought i wrote this review, lol Came here after picking up my mom from her dentist. I never been to this business ever. Theres one like 10 mins from my house. I am picky of where i go that is a bar type thing. I has many miss adventures in other bars but i tend to behave the closer they are to home. Ya know? Kiss a guy, kiss a girl, both, two guys or three girls? Away from home? Who cares, but not near my safe zone? No way. Lol food? Yeah food was great! Since mom went with my pic of Sheppards pie? I went with the fish n chips. I gotta say.... I had a different image in my head. Normally when i order this in other Irish bars i get duped n get like more batter than fish. Not here! Thin crust of batter n huge pieces if fish. Nice crispy texture and well balance of sodium to the pallet. Fries were great also. Ate the Fack outa it. I trued the Sheppards pie n it was legit good. Looked small until i dug into it. Its big enough for a 1 person meal. The cheese sticks apps was the culprit in why i couldn't help her eat it. Sticks were perfect also. I kept the sauce to bathe my fish in it. I totally forgot what beer i order. It was a red ale. Tasted similar to what i been brewing at home. I previously wanted to try a Cream ale. I been trying to understand the pallet for it. I brewed three batches using different techniques but wanted to have a better clue to what i should target towards flavor n texture. Yes texture!! Cream ales are corn based some use Lactose sugar some don't. I make a mean creamy ale with lactose sugar must n then later in priming. Gives it a silky texture very gentle in the mouth. But a true cream ale isn't creamy. O_o a las i might as well keep coming back until i get blessing from the beer goddess to try what they got on tap. Before u tell me to go buy it in bottle form? They're not the same. Keg vs bottled stuff? Its world apart. The hops, yeast and notes are very controlled in bottles so they don't explode. Kegs? They can handle pure blend no drama. But Josefina why you going to bars to buy booze you can make? Cuz I support all brewers n bars. Also cuz sometimes this unicorn likes to trot lol joke aside? Like i said, i enjoyed my visit. Should come back during the night n check out the live shows. Need to get out more too!!

Came here to watch the Ohio State football game, and it's definitely an Ohio state bar. You can't get a seat unless you reserve one. The food we had wasn't good though. We ordered the appetizer platter, and half the platter was 3 Reuben egg rolls, which were inedible to me. I make them at home, with sliced corned beef, sliced Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing. Theirs may have consisted of these ingredients, but the filling was all ground up, a mushy consistency, and indiscernable ingredients. We left 2 1/2 egg rolls on the platter, told the waitress, to no avail, just a blank look on her face. All I can say is, they do know how to pour a proper Guinness, which not all bartenders know how to do.

Tomorrow is St Patricks Day!! OBriens has been a Tampa Bay Irish Pub staple for a long time! It's been one of my family's favorite local eateries for the past 17 years! They go all out for St Patty's Day with tents in the parking lot, plenty of Killians and Guinness flowing, popular Irish pub fare like shepherds pie and fish & chips, Irish music, bagpipes and green beer! Check out my last 3 slides for their other acclaimed events to keep the celebration going long after March 17th comes and goes! We love their loaded potatoes skins, Shepherds pie and fish & chips. These are items that will definitely be available tomorrow along with the rest of their Irish pub fare like bangers and mash! You can sip on Killians and Guinness as well as green beer! Sláinte!

Pretty standard Irish Pub/Grille. We sat outside, which for an early Saturday evening wasn't too busy. Service was good, the drinks are reasonably priced and the food was pretty decent. I actually really liked the buffalo chicken dip. It was flavorful and very cheesy, My fiancé had the Philly cheese steak which was okay. Has that typical Irish pub smell of beer and cigarettes outside. The bathrooms were very unkept, less than desirable, but it isn't a fancy place... it is definitely a chilled spot for drinks and affordable food! I imagine it is a popular neighborhood pub, because the patrons and the staff seemed to know each other.

Well, they've earned their rating with good reason!…read more A friend and I went on a bit of an unplanned adventure yesterday as the first place we were going to go to was closed for an event. After driving 30 minutes to that place in Plant City and realizing this, we decided, "why not drive some more?". Josephine's was on my radar due to their great reviews across multiple platforms, so we drove another 20-30 minutes to check it out. We arrived at the unsuspecting strip plaza, walked in to what was just one well lit, cozy strip in the plaza and were immediately greeted by Robby, the owner, who asked us if it was our first time in. We let him know that it was, and he proceeded to educate us on everything they have to offer, from their bar, their sandwiches, pizzas, salads, pastas, grocery and so on... the meatball sandwich was calling my name, along with their pizzas and their pastas - so many choices! I did land on the meatball sandwich and got a bag of chips and a glass of wine while my friend got the Italian salad and a coke. For note, this ran us about $45. It was well worth it. The meatball sandwich was 10" and was stuffed with fully ground beef meatballs, seasoned well and very cheesy - so good. I tasted the salad and it was great as well, with plenty of parmesan cheese to cover up the taste of leaves that I was consuming (I'm not a vegetables guy still). While we were dining at the bar, Robby took a bit more time to tell us how the store came to be, being named after his grandmother who, though she wasn't around to see what he had started, would no doubt be very proud as his/his employee service was excellent and the food was no different. At the end of our experience, Robby took our payment and we explored the store a bit. Robby was kind enough to offer me two of their mini cannolis and my friend a scoop of their salted caramel gelato on the house as a way of saying thank you for coming in; again, EXCELLENT service. Since leaving there yesterday, I have recommended the place to 7 people and will continue recommending it to more people due to their great value, service and delicious food. Huge thanks to Robby and the team at Josephine's for knowing how to do things the right way. I'll definitely be back.

After returning from our honeymoon in Italy, my husband and I were on a mission to find pizza,…read moreItalian subs, and authentic Italian foods that reminded us of our trip. We stumbled upon Josephine's Italian Market, less than 15 minutes from our home, and it has become one of our favorite special-occasion spots. The market itself is such a fun experience. They have a thoughtfully curated selection of imported Italian products, a refrigerated and freezer section with prepared foods to take home, shelves of authentic pantry staples, a small espresso and Italian beverage bar, and a fantastic deli with fresh meats like prosciutto, capicola, and everything you'd hope to find in a true Italian market. One thing that really stood out was how welcoming everyone was. I brought my toddler with me, and instead of feeling like I was trying to juggle shopping while keeping him entertained, the staff genuinely embraced him. They were so kind and engaging that it made the entire visit relaxed and enjoyable. Now for the food... absolutely incredible. Their Hot Honey Pizza is easily one of the best pizzas I've had outside of Italy, and their authentic Italian sub is unquestionably in my top five ever. The chicken cutlets, salads, and other prepared foods have all been consistently outstanding. I also love browsing their selection of authentic Italian wines to take home. Is it more expensive than grabbing pizza or subs from a chain? Absolutely. But the quality, authenticity, and overall experience make it worth it. We don't think of Josephine's as an everyday stop--we think of it as our go-to place for special occasions, family gatherings, or anytime we want to treat ourselves to food that genuinely reminds us of Italy. If you're looking for authentic Italian food, exceptional sandwiches, outstanding pizza, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Josephine's Italian Market is absolutely worth the visit. We're so grateful to have a place like this so close to home!
