Classy grocer! O'Brien's Market is definitely a high-end local grocery store. They offer a wide variety of "typical" grocery store items as well as some more artisanal products as well. They have a nice bakery, hot food section, deli, salad bar, wine bar, and meat/fish counter. There is a huge gourmet cheese selection - literally any cheese you may want (cow's milk, goat, sheep) from nearly any country, they seem to have it! They often offer samples (if I remember correctly, if you want to try a particular cheese, they will give you a sample of it)! There are soups, sandwiches, salads, and other hot foods like mac n cheese. The quality of the meats is great! Everything is very fresh and well-maintained. The produce is very fresh too! Although many of these products are higher-priced, their other grocery items (i.e. canned/boxed/bottled/frozen foods) are much surprisingly cheaper than other grocery stores. The store is consistently clean and organized. The store hasn't been updated/remodeled but it still has a timeless design that looks very neat. The staff members are very friendly and will quickly help you whenever needed. The store is never busy and you will rarely have to wait in line. I definitely recommend shopping at O'Brien's Market and will be back!

We really like go to the O'Briens Market on Dale Road. Really good food and friendly staff. It is a nice treat to get a freshly made sandwich made the way you want. Today we each ordered a Custom Sandwich. My wife ordered the O'Brien Roast Beef sandwich with rare roast beef. It was made to perfection along with my Turkey sandwich. I had a slight issue with their mobile app and logged a question and I was surprised that they answered my question and resolved my question super quick (within an hour or so). Great Service - Great Food - Great Store!!

    The Aram sandwich.

What sets O'Brien's apart? 1. Outstanding deli. There's a line for sandwiches everyday at lunchtime. And they make my favorite, Aram sandwiches. 2. They've got a stellar wine department. Wine tastings? They have them. 3. A great bakery. The cupcakes are on steroids. Flavors? How about a Pina Colada cupcake? *The coconut cake is amazing* 4. The cheese department is impressive. Gourmet crackers, flatbread, truffle nuts...the whole enchilada. Oh, yeah. They have enchiladas (hot food section) too. 5. The meat department. It's the size of a big city butcher shop. 6. The "fresh produce" is actually fresh. 7. If you need any Thanksgiving Day or Holiday back ups, they've got you covered. They do all the staples. You can order a turkey, fixings, or both. My mom loves their green beans w bacon. 8. And, last but not least, there's a Starbucks in house. It's a family run business. The owner (or one of the owners) always has a warm smile & a greeting. Love that. 5 stars.

Think of a cross between Sprouts and Whole Foods and you have yourself O'Brien's Market. The selection this store has is impressive: + Dozen's of different Cheeses from around the world. + Huge Wine selection + Meat counter twice the ize I have seen on any other grocery store + Every Quest Bar flavor along with various other Protein and Nutrition Bars + Imported food section + Large Deli serving Hot and Cold food. +Bakery section with Pies, Pastries, Muffins and Cake both by the slice and whole They even stock my beloved Halo Top Ice Cream which i difficult to get in most Grocery store's. I picked up a number of items from here - 2 Cheese, a drink imported from my homeland, protein bars and a Cake slice for Hubs and I to share which sadly wasn't as good as it looked (very sweet and artificial tasting). We need one of these store'sin Mountain House.

First off, this store is beautiful. Everything looked fresh, clean, and well-stocked. The food selection was impressive. Ordering at the food counter, however, was a little frustrating. The young lady helping us was very friendly, but she wasn't familiar with what came inside the different breakfast burritos, so it took a while to figure out our order. One thing to be aware of is that Vallarta really nickel-and-dimes you on add-ons. They offer a chorizo and egg burrito or a chorizo and potato burrito, but not a chorizo, egg, and potato burrito. They couldn't simply add potatoes, yet they had no problem charging nearly $2 to add one egg--and another $1.99 just to add cheese. Charging almost $2 for cheese seemed excessive. That said, the burritos themselves were delicious. The salsa was also excellent and really tied everything together. My only other complaint was the filling wasn't distributed very well. My wife thought her burrito didn't have any potatoes until she was halfway through it and finally found them all in one section. Overall, the food was excellent and we'd definitely order it again. If you're looking for a great breakfast burrito and don't mind paying extra for customizations, Vallarta Market is definitely worth a visit.

The have a nice cheese selection which make for great charcuterie boards. All their Trader Joe's branded items are great, but their produce is often lacking. I was looking for some eggplants but they were super soft and already too wrinkled to buy. I also tried to buy some heirloom tomatoes but their Best Buy date was nearly a week before the date I came shopping and were all squishy. This location is horrifically crowded. No matter the time of day, it is super busy and you can barely walk down the aisles. Everyone is bumping into each other and walking the wrong direction, making the shopping experience really miserable. I would love to walk around the store and take time to browse but I cannot bear to stay in there longer than a few minutes because I don't want to get bumped into. The parking experience is similar. There is never any parking and you'll need to circle the lot for probably 10 minutes before you find a space. Regardless, the store is pretty organized and the shelves are well-stocked. I've had mixed experiences with the staff. The majority of the time, the crew members really encapsulate the friendly and kind-hearted nature that Trader Joe's employees are known for. However, my most recent visit was unfortunately different. When asking for my ID for an alcohol purchase, I wasn't even asked. The cashier, without even looking up from bagging very curtly said, "give me your ID." Her demeanor was not welcoming and rubbed me the wrong way a bit. I would recommend those to come here only if they need something in particular and if you have the whole day to spend looking for parking and crawling around the store.

A few reasons why I'd recommend shopping here is because the selection is excellent--I frequently discover new items that I end up enjoying. The store is well-maintained and exceptionally clean, and the staff is consistently helpful and courteous. One of the most convenient features is that the store is open 24 hours. Visiting late at night (around 11 PM to 2 AM) is particularly ideal, as the store is being restocked, it is less crowded, and there are minimal wait times at checkout. If you're someone like me with a not-so-convenient work schedule this place is a life saver! Although the layout can be somewhat confusing, the prices are generally lower than those at other grocery stores in the surrounding cities. It is an excellent place to purchase meat, fresh fruits and veggies, pantry items and frozen foods. The prices for dog/cat food and cat litter are UNBEATABLE!

The have an extremely wide food variety with dedicated aisles for Asian and Hispanic flavors. Any obscure or non-big-name-brand that you may not find anywhere else can be found here. There is a large seafood counter and deli (which have both been recently updated). They sell a huge variety of bulk items too! They have everything from nuts to candy to dog food, herbs, pasta, bird seed, and more. There is a bakery that offers some nice fresh items like pastries, rolls, cakes, and bagels. They also do custom cake orders! There's also a hot food section where they sell freshly made fried chicken, flavored wings, tenders, and sides for a super affordable price! WinCo offers a ton of ready to eat meals. Just pop them in the microwave for a quick and large bite. The staff members are very friendly. They build a lovely relationship with the regulars which is great to see. They never show any sense of attitude, even when it gets very busy (which is often). Sometimes the lines can get super long (particularly towards the beginning of the month and in the afternoons). Most of the time, they have plenty of check-out lanes open so the wait isn't too bad. Everything is relatively well-organized. The store is huge but it doesn't feel like a maze trying to find the items you need. The aisles are wide but get congested at times. Since they're open 24/7, it's not too hard to beat the crowds though. If you decide to shop here (which I definitely recommend), note that they don't accept credit cards!

I was unimpressed by this one. As soon as you enter this store, you are met with a very unpleasant, almost rancid, smell. I couldn't quite place my finger on what the smell was, but it was definitely not something you want to smell when you enter a place that sells food. We checked out the produce and meat sections first. The fruits and vegetables seemed fresh. The meat section, however, was a bit concerning. All of the plastic bins where the large cuts of meat were stored were filled with meat juices. Although the refrigerated section was cold, I was still a little concerned about the sanitation. Unless you are truly buying in bulk for a restaurant or event setting, the prices are very comparable, if not more expensive, than other grocery stores like WinCo. The smaller bag of potatoes, for example, was significantly more expensive than the same size bag at Costco. The giant bag of potatoes though, was very cheap in comparison. They definitely have a great variety of items that your typical grocery won't carry though. A lot of the items are unique. The sheer amount of drink/cafe syrups was astounding. They have every single thing you may need for a restaurant from take-out containers to sauce and jelly packets. I do it because it's the closest store to my house... This Raley's sucks so bad I'm starting to actually like Save Mart. I will not be shopping here any longer. They had only 1 heavy whipping cream option available, and the expiry date was in two days (today is the 14th, expiry date is the 16th) yet there was no discount. I asked the manager if I could have a discount... after all, I would buy another brand I'd they had one available. No discount, the manager says something about how they will get dinged for it... so f**k me, the customer, right? The manager says that the cream won't magically go bad on the 16th. So next week when my cream goes bad, I should bring it back to the store so he can have a sniff, I guess. I loathe how this store has outrageous prices, consistently sub-par produce, and bad customer service. Their checkout lines will literally be 8 customers deep and they WILL NOT open a new lane. Why is it that COST LESS GROCERIES has better produce and service than RALEY'S???? Why does Raley's hate its customers?
