I had not been to O'Charley's in a long time and was craving some soup and rolls. Unfortunately my soup was a bit cold and the bacon a bit overcooked. Which was actually interesting because the bacon on my wrap was undercooked. My fries were also cold and could have been crispier. Overall the experience was fine, but unfortunately the quality of food was mid. My server was great. I'm sure she would have attempted to fix the soup or fries. However, if food comes out subpar in an empty restaurant I didn't feel confident in sending it back. I did mention my poorly cooked bacon and was given new bacon for my leftovers. I very much appreciated this gesture. My experience was not terrible, but not great. One weird thing to mention is that when I arrived and went inside it almost felt like the place was under construction. The welcome was fine but vibes were off. I do feel like some improvements would be beneficial. read more

I got potato soup to go and the soup tastes like nothing maybe a bit of cream of chicken which is strange for their soup -- perspective I had sharonville last week - I also ordered soup and it tasted nothing like this . We tried again since it was close and it was Pie Wed. Service at bar was great. My husband got meatloaf and I get cheeseburger. Both meals were ok with exception of Mac/cheese. Absolutely NO cheese. I ate there earlier tonight with my mom and I had their spagetti and meatballs. I wasn't wanting anything involved or heavy, so the spagetti and meatballs worked out just wonderfully for me. The meatballs are HUGE and are tasty, but require a knife and a fork to properly eat them -- so fair warning. The spagetti is pretty good too -- especially with the red sauce that came with it. I actually couldn't eat all of the food, because those meatballs are just SO BIG, but as I have already said, they're tasty. This was the second time that I have gotten these spagetti and meatballs and I'm sure that I will get them again, because I've enjoyed them both this time and the last time that I ordered them from here. My mom enjoyed her food as well -- she ordered the chicken alfredo and it looked tasty. My mom enjoyed her side salad too. read more

The baked chicken was dry and tough as leather, the mashed sweet potato dish was dull and very bland. The new, special burger with pulled pork on top was barely edible and seemed like fake meat on a soggy bun. broccoli was untrimmed with brown age spots on the bottom that they could have trimmed. I often order to go and everything is always packed nicely..Nice selection of menu items and the Honey Mustard is so good that I began buying bottles to keep at home..This was the first time I've eaten at an O'Charleys and at first expected it to be an Irish type restaurant by the name but it's more a typical Chili's or TGI Fridays.. Ordered the appetizer platter, should have been an easy order. But looked like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for days. Since this was take out, I didn't look at the order until we were home. Every bit of my food was crispy and dry. I tried to eat it, because now it would take an hour or more to replace it. My family enjoyed our Father's Day evening having dinner here (Cold Spring, KY location in case business owner reads this haha). Most of our meals were really good, others not so much. Some of our food was served *cold*, not even room temperature. Our order was correct though! I do have to add that this establishment was very understaffed when we were visiting so the issues with our food were mostly understandable. We were told only two people were working the kitchen, and the dining room was full. Our waitress Kelsey was amazing - she was practically running the entire dining room on her own, and with a smile. I understand that restaurants are struggling with supply chain, staffing and overall quality but this experience was over the top disgusting and disappointing! I was shocked at the lack of service and the quality of food presented. My wife ordered club sandwich that came with moldy cheese, she sent it back and couldn't/wouldn't order anything else. I ordered a cheeseburger well done that came medium rare and a grey ashen color. Needless to say it was terrible. I too sent it back. I also did not order another entree. We had rolls for lunch! Lastly a server knocked over serving tray with a full cup of French dressing that splattered all over the floor as well as my mother in laws dress. The server was very apologetic and cleaned up mother in laws dress and about 10% of the mess on the carpet and walked away. That pile of dressing never was cleaned up, servers and customers walked through it never batting an eye. Our server told us the manger was going to come talk with us but nobody ever came. We left a 20% tip and walked out, we will never return. read more

We hadn't been to O'Charlies in several months but stopped in on Friday at the Cold Spring location for an early dinner. It wasn't too crowded when we walked in but started filling up quickly. The server did drop off some rolls and got our drink order. Most of us got our drinks right away but someone ordered a drink from the bar that never came. We stopped someone walking by and they finally brought the drink back to the table. The staff must have been busy because I ordered a side salad that never came so when they brought the food, I asked and they brought it out after I was already eating my food. I ordered the burger and strip combo and while the strips were just ok, the double patty burger was a lot of food but not especially hot so the cheese wasn't really melted. The fries were hot but I like mine on the crispy side and these were not. Someone else said their fries were just warm. The server did come back several times after we were served to check on us and refill our drinks. It was ok but not on our list to go back anytime soon. read more

First time here even though I've lived in the area for over a year. I've never seen any other locations but apparently they are all around the Eastern midwest. The menu is full of choices. Like you can get everything from random seafood to nachos. Anyway I had the seafood platter with an appetizer of the potato skins. But it does skins were all right. Seafood platter was actually pretty detailed! You get fries, fried shrimp, crab cakes on the shell, cod, and some coleslaw. Friend of mine got the chicken garlic spaghetti and potato soup. He said the chicken garlic spaghetti was way too full of tomatoes. He ate probably half of it. The cheesy potato soup was also a little bit generic although still very flavorful. So the food is mostly good, but we had an amazing waitress! Tiera was her name. She was just amazing and I even asked her name because I wanted to commend her for it. She said it was her last day before she had to move to the back so they are losing a pretty darn good server. Most of the reviews on here are complaining about the service but we had a great time on a Thursday night. read more

We waited at the host stand for like 7 minutes. Watching the staff walk in from outside. I asked to be seated again, they said just a minute. Finally was seated. My server was very friendly and I ordered a patty melt with no onions. And when she brought it out, it looks delicious. Delicious but there were onions on it and I cannot eat onions. So she took it back to the kitchen where I know they just pulled out the cheese and onions, toasted my bread and brought it back because the was not melted on my patty melt. The bread was also no longer grilled but ran through a toaster. This is the second chance we gave this place as for last time the food was disgusting too. Went for dinner with my family tonight and I was so extremely disappointed in not only the service but with the food as well. The rolls that are normally something we look forward too looked like pancakes! Kids meals had cold soggy fries! Ask for ketchup which did not arrive until most of us were done with our meal. Our drink refills were brought in carry-out cups because our drinks were never filled when we were eating and only because we asked for refills ... which we should not have needed to request in the first place. Not one, but two instances of dropped dishes on the hour we were there. Every table around us was full of dirty dishes - and were not bussed while we were there! A one star rating is bring generous. Despite all the negative reviews, I still like O'Charley's. Their rolls definitely seem to have changed and they don't bring them as often, many times you have to ask more than once but they are still good. I tend to get the chicken tenders dinner which is hard to mess up. Overall O'Charley's is good, but don't expect to be wowed. If you've never been think of it like an Applebees. read more

One word... YIKES!!! I used to love coming here, the rolls used to be delicious, pretty fast service, etc. I went here tonight and boy was that a mistake. I went with 4 other adults and a 1year old child at 6pm . We told the hostess we had 5 people and needed 1 high chair. The lady then walks us over to a tiny booth and is shocked and confused when we tell her that there is no way that we can all fit. We are then moved to a small table in the middle of the room, okay we will make do. We waited a good 20 minutes before anyone came and took our drink order. Drinks and food are now ordered and we are waiting for some rolls. We had to wait 40 minutes for our rolls to come out. I understand being busy, but when our server tells us that the rolls are in the oven still and another table that just sat down immediately gets rolls, we start to get a little confused. Now, it is 7:15 and we are just now getting our food. 1 hour and 15 minute wait for some chicken and a salad is pretty wild considering the place is not even remotely busy. When leaving, apparently they ran out of their flat and hard rolls, so they gave a table 3 bags of frozen rolls to make themselves at home... I would avoid coming here unless you want to waste time for mediocre food. read more

My friend and I went to O'Charleys for lunch today & literally received the WORST service ever. We stood in the entryway for 15 minutes and were not even acknowledged. There were NO EMPLOYEES in the restaurant at all for over 10 minutes. My friend finally went to ask if we could be seated & by then the vestibule had 6 more customers. The hostess who seated us was rude and chastised my friend for asking someone to help us. She peeked in the kitchen to ASK for help. The manager was even rude to her own employees and acted like a child throwing a temper tantrum. It was the absolute WORST service I have had in my life. We left O'Charley's and I refuse to go back. This was how the MANAGER acted. She was the RUDEST person I've ever met. We were on lunch break so I think waiting for 15 minutes with ZERO acknowledgement is not acceptable. The other customers were shocked by her behavior, you could see it on their faces. I work in customer service and would be fired if I acted that way. This woman should be fired. We asked nicely to be helped and most people would not have been that kind given the situation. We simply asked if we could be seated because that's YOUR JOB. If you're mad you had a customer simply ask to be seated to and you have to do YOUR JOB you really need to find a new job. The last time it snowed we also received horrible service the last time it snowed. We sat in the restaurant for over an 1 1/2 hours and we had been there an hour before we even got our food. We didn't complain even though the service was terrible. The manager kept telling us they might get shut down which is fine but how about serving your customers IN the restaurant. I rarely complain about service and make a huge effort to be understanding that they could be short staffed but there were 4 or 5 customers in the restaurant. The quality of food has declined and for a manager to behave as she did is unacceptable. I will never return to the O'Charleys and you have lost 2 frequent loyal customers. I will never spend a dime at this restaurant as long as the manager with the glittery flag mask is in charge. Sorry sweetheart we've given you WAY too many chances. read more

With no one even stoping to say they would be with us we went to the bar area which has been open seating since they opened there were very few people in the area but were told this was not open seating anymore so we left. I was genuinely surprised by this place. I have seen O'Charley's around for years but had never been to one. We came here for lunch on a Wednesday and it was extremely busy..oddly so. Once we realized Wednesday is "free pie day" it made a little more sense. Anywho, overall service was great..the menu was interesting. I tried their new hot chicken sandwich and I can tell you it was genuinely hot, had a really good taste to it..I was impressed! And their French fries were wonderful! Perfectly seasoned and crisp. Alas I was too full for the free pie at the end of the meal but it sure did look good. I look forward to going back and trying different things on the menu! read more

We have waited at the Ocharleys in cold spring for an hour and 20 minutes to be seated while people who put their name in after us were seated, ate their meal, and then left. They had a whole section of the restaurant that was being seated until 4:00pm. On Sunday afternoons there needs to be a full crew so that the restaurant can seat people. Then I tried to talk to the manager and the manager wouldn't come to the phone. It was the worst experience that we have ever had with this OCharleys. Finally got drinks and we asked to Order was told hold on one second while she cashed some one else out... ok then. Few min order taken and messed up drink orders fixed... 20 min later the soup comes. While other tables that came after have food. Epic bad service!! So now it's been 1 hour sitting in my seat. Just got my food let's see how it taste... food was good.. now the head cook or chief what ever he is out bussing tables ?? What's going on in this place lol Lunch only took 2 hours. Maybe I'll stay for dinner First visit...Ya know i don't eat here much at all. Maybe once a year with my wife and her friends and her husband. Compared to ruby tuesdays across the AA highway, this place rocked. the atmosphere was lively without being over burdening, the menu was varied although safe, a good choice in seating options, a wait staff willing to please, and prices were comparable to like & similar establishments. i would not mind going here for a nice meal with friends &or family or by myself to watch the game. read more
