Huge mistake! I should have stopped a long time ago but everything happens for a reason. Recently, I had terrible pain in my feet and made myself an appointment with a podiatrist who properly treated me. They requested that I get a global referral from my primary care provider. I called my primary care physician and requested one but they adamantly refused to give me one because I hadn't been seen for foot pain in her office. I find that completely ridiculous. I am very disappointed. I will not be returning. There are better providers out there

I trust her completely. Great doc! Her services are in high demand, so you may have to wait months for your initial appointment, but she is well worth the wait!

She listens to your concerns with patience and makes sure all of your questions are answered before you leave. My daughter had some minor health issues as a toddler and I was very satisfied with the way Dr. Raheja handled everything, from making herself very accessible for follow-up visits and phone consultations to facilitating referrals to see specialists.

I knew it was important to get my pelvis properly aligned before I went into labor because improper alignment can intensify the pain and duration of childbirth. Dr. Beals-Becker is a doctor of osteopathy. She is seriously amazing. I would highly suggest seeing her instead of seeing certain chiropractors because she is an expert, especially if you are pregnant. I made the mistake of seeing a chiropractor, and he made me feel worse. I consulted Dr. Beals-Becker in a panic and she was extremely accomodating and was willing to squeeze me in the same day! I felt so stupid for not calling her in the first place. She is able to give excellent advice and does not make you come for repeat visits if it is not necessary. I am someone who can be very weary of doctors, but I have much respect for her and her practice -- that says a lot, especially since I trusted her when I was 8.5 months pregnant!

While I had good experience with the receptionist that checked me in the past few years, I ran into a lady who sounded like she did not want to be in the office that day. She was short and would cut me off when I spoke. So when I checked out, I went to another receptionist and that lady was welcoming, funny and treated you like a person. I hope she works whenever I visit.

However, I must also complain that during the procedure I received very bad bruises including four blisters on both feet. They have still not healed today (December 28) and require continuing attention. They were concealed by the loose-fitting socks required for the surgery. I believe they were the result of a moment or two of inattention by the attendants who were moving me or perhaps being bumped by the equipment, but however they were caused, they still have required constant attention since the surgery and will probably require another few weeks of attention. The cardiac rehab I have received has also hindered their healing.

BUT you can join their waitlist online (or via kiosk if you go there in person) and get updates via text to come back for your appt time. Which rules. So I filled out my info on the kiosk (next time I'll do it on their website so I don't have to go in) and went home to wait. 10 Minutes before my appt I went back. And I was back and seeing someone 15 minutes later. The facility is new so it's super nice and clean. They have a fish tank in the lobby (which delighted some children waiting) and comfortable, plentiful seating. There's also a small shop which I assume is open M-F 9-5 with snacks and such. That primarily for the office workers I'm sure but it's a nice perk for patients. The person I saw for my appt was a student NP and she was super nice and helpful but still, a student. The doc came in after she assessed me and did a brief exam and gave me some tips for feeling better. I kind of wish he hasn't seemed so rushed and took more time with me because after I left I felt like I still had some questions. So you may need to be a bit more of an advocate for yourself here if you're more comfortable with a doc. Clinic staff is also super nice, btw.

I know you all saw my son, the only one sitting in urgent care with an urgent need, holding his wounded arm with a bloody paper towel, as you called appt. after appt. in. When I spoke up a fellow care seeker told me to book ahead of time!!! Finally, after I speak up you see my son long enough to send him to an emergency room at another hospital. My kid was in need of stitches for over two hours because of your incompetence. Why advertise as urgent care when you obviously are not?

I ask sever specialist in Lapeer what I had and how to treat it and they did not know. A friend of mine found the Allergy & Immunology Group on line and gave me the number. I made an apt. and had to fill out forms on the internet just like seeing a new doctor. I was given information on taking pictures of my body and sending them to Dr. Shankar. We had a video chat and she told me the shots caused me to have exezma and she prescribed a cream and a lotion and with in 1 week I was cleared up and no more itching. Really? Why didn't you say FOURTEEN DAYS if that was what you meantt? I've been getting allergy shots for 25 years (yes since 2001) and I've never ever been treated like a criminal because I was "a day late". I used their damn electronic calendar and of course it has no knowledge of the shot cadence. I cannot beelieve a single day, yes 24 hours would have made any any difference. Nevermind their automated system sends you reminders so it should have been able to count up to 15. FAIL.
