Booked them for a trip to and from O'hare. They had a flat rate of $71 each way for the luxury sedan I selected. Wound up being picked up by a full size SUV (which is quite a bit more expensive than a sedan) for no extra charge. The same guy also picked me up at O'hare after my trip. The SUV was very clean. Bought the Groupon ($38) based on the 2 reviews here... and noted that the price is not a bargain... its regular price... so maybe the actual 'deal' is that the ride is valid for up to 3 people...? MAYBE NOT. Reason being, I tried to schedule a pickup at O'Hare for... holy moly.. ** 3 ** people. As everyone is coming back from Europe, it is NOT unreasonable to confirm the vehicle sent would accomodate 3 passengers and their luggage (3 bags, 3 carry-ons)... OR is it? "JOHN" (apparently no I dont need to know his last name... claims he is the manager ... pretty sure he was lying) asks me if I know what a Lincoln Town Car looks like... and that I should be able to tell if the luggage will fit. MY RESPONSE: Yes, I looked it up... it looks like it should, but I dont own one, so I dont know the trunk capacity... this Groupon says its for 3 people to / from the airport... it doesn't say '3 people without luggage'... ********* COMMUNICATION LOG (some paraphrasing) ***************** ME: SO John - I am asking YOU if it can hold 3 suitcases and 3 carry-ons as well as 3 passengers comfortably... because a standard car will be a little tight for 3 people in the backseat. JOHN: I dont know what size your luggage is... so I can't guarantee it will fit, so you need a van or SUV... that is not the same price (aka Groupon invalid for this). ME: Well, it probably would be okay if you have the carry-ons in the front seat, if the additional room is necessary... JOHN: Our policy is NO LUGGAGE inside the vehicle. ME: Huh, so you can't have a purse or gym bag in your lap? Those are carry-ons. JOHN: Laptop case is okay... no luggage in vehicle. Now I am annoyed by what sounds like a big load of excrement... and decide that I will just get a refund. I want to note this person's name and the experience when I request it... and this is his response to my asking for his full name and position... JOHN: Is unnecessary... you dont need to know my last name... whats YOUR name (I give it) and your phone number (I give it and then ask for his again.) "You don't need my last name" CLICK. Yup He hangs up. P.S. When people answer with a generic "Car Service" instead of the actual business name... doesn't that seem either suspicious or unprofessional? No show and very unprofessional!!! Made a reservation for a black sedan. Car never showed. When I followed up 5 min after the pickup time with the reservations #, I was told driver was one block away. 15 min after that still no driver. Driver called to tell me he was still 5 minutes away do I cancelled the ride and flagged a cab. THEN the driver calls my cell phone back to scream at me...I believe his exact comment was why would I bother making a reservation with a company in the suburbs if there are cabs to flag. Point taken. I will go back to my other sedan company and stop using these guys. read more

We were solicited by the driver at O'Hare Airport. We were walking towards the taxi line and he yelled he was available Taxi. We asked him the cost when we got inside he said he was metered like a normal Taxi and he accepted cash or credit. Normally a taxi from O'Hare to Schaumburg cost $35 to $40 flat rate. We were charged $89 plus tip for 25 minutes ride. It's unbelievable that their business practices allowed them to charge double from a normal taxi. Taxi's charge a flat rate just like a car service And we were not informed up front of the cost. We definitely feel like we were robbed. Don't be fooled like we were. read more

Like the only other reviewer for this company, I, too, have only a single experience to base my enthusiastic endorsement of this company on. However, as I enter this review on my computer while enjoying the ambience of the Red Carpet Club, I wanted to let other Yelpers know that this company was absolutely on time for my Gold Coast pickup to O'Hare, I had a comfortable ride in a Chrysler 300 with leather seats, absolutely immaculate interior, pleasant and courteous driver, and the whole thing was $49 + tip (I added $9.00). This was so much more reasonable than any other limo company I've used in the past to O'Hare that I wanted to share my experience, even as I await boarding to Seattle. I hope my experience this morning was typical for this company, and I'd like to see if others have had similarly pleasant experiences. read more

I recently arrived at O'Hare after a 7 week vacation in Europe with plenty of luggage, a XL dog carrier and a dog. I for sure figured that Yellow Cab would give me a ride home but they told me that they do not allow dogs in their cabs and I need to find another way to get home. Thank God a driver from Airport Express overheard the conversation and offered me a ride. $55 later and a nice ride in a Lincoln SUV I arrived at my apartment in Rogers Park. The driver even helped me carry my luggage upstairs and did not charge me extra for the dog. Next time I need to go to the Airport I will definitely use their service again! read more

I purchased a Groupon to take advantage of the great airport transportation price. I called on 4/13/12 to make a reservation and the guy was so rude on the phone! Every question I asked I received a response with an attitude. Im sorry but if I am paying for a service I expect to receive the service requested and be treated with respect. If I was being rude then I would understand. When I told the guy that I didnt not need the attitude he stated "you can call Groupon and get a refund." I have called Groupon to receive a refund and made a complaint. Also, I will assure that I will not use your services and neither will my family and friends. Total scam. They advertise as a taxi service but if you don't specifically say you DO NOT want a limo they will charge you for one. Showed up with a large sedan that reeked of the driver's nasty cologne, I could barely stand the trip to O'Hare. Charged me $72 for a 20 minute trip to ORD from the North Suburbs. I use 303 Taxi now, very reliable with reasonable rates. read more

Great ride to Ann Arbor to Ohare when I needed it! Driver was kind and worked with me!

Two of us rode together and were charged $86 to travel from O'Hare to Downtown. Driver said his fare was same as Uber. We arrived at hotel and our colleagues only paid $32 for both of them for the same trip. Cab was very nice and driver was friendly however I feel like he took advantage of us since we were from out of town. We'll use Uber next time. read more

$67 from Hoffman Estates to Ohare airport for a 25 minute/17 mile drive during a non-peak time with absolutely no traffic. This taxi company cost me $3.94/mile. Worst value for a cab ever, and an EASY 1 star rating. This is why Uber/Lyft is far superior than horrid taxi and limousine companies like this one. read more

I booked O'Hare Taxi to take me from my hotel to pick up my car in storage. The driver, Frank, arrived early and even helped me get my car started. The taxi was clean and the fare very reasonable. When I left my phone in his cab, I contacted Mike (dispatch) and Frank dropped off my phone at my hotel later that day. Both Frank and Mike went out of their way to help me and I really appreciate the great service. I would definitely recommend O'Hare Taxi and will use them again in the future. Called and booked a limo at 10:30 pm for pick-up (5:15 am) in going to O'Hare. At 5:10 am, still no car. Called, dispatch said he had nothing but would call me right back to check with the driver. Ayyy! Waiting in a panic, no call back. I called and now got voicemail. Ayyy! Called another service and they sent a car right away. Then then call came in. The driver had a "issue" and never notified the office. Really??? Definitely stay clear of this company if your in need of a reliable ride. read more

Vultures and liars!!!! Do not use this company. They do not have a moral or ethical compass. About a week ago, the driver flagged us at the door in O'Hare Airport as we were trying to walk out to the taxi area. He lied and said he was Uber. He charged me $79 for a 25 minute ride to downtown Chicago. At the end of the ride, I inquired how was I going to pay through the Uber app and he said he would be charged a 30% fee if I paid through the Uber app, so he said it would help him out if I paid him directly. He did email me a receipt while I stood by. I am not a frequent traveler and I have only used the Uber app once in my life so I take some of the blame for being taken advantage of by these scam artist. I know better now. Use real taxis in Chicago, they have the CURB app now in Chicago for taxis and I used it the rest of my stay and it was the best. By the way, my return trip 5 days later from downtown to O'Hare only cost me $48.75 because I used a legitimate taxi company not this scam outfit. I hope this helps someone. read more

Awful company. They are scheme to try and rip you off. No sympathy and have drivers that lie to you and will accidentally pick up the wrong passenger. If you are smart and like to rely on companies to get you where you need to be at a decent price, dont use them. read more

Reserved taxi for my daughter, who was visiting the Chicago area, through this service. They were late to pick her up at O'Hare and then charged her $70 despite the web site saying the charge would be $42 A total "rip-off" - I recommend staying away. Very disappointing read more

Bought the Groupon (also based on the great reviews). We were going on our honeymoon and I thought I was very clear on the phone what time we needed to be picked up since not only did we have luggage to check, but we were checking into an international flight. The driver was OVER 45 minutes late !!!! Since we are only about a half hour away from O'hare to start with, this was a giant problem. But the worst was when we got into the car- the driver didn't seem to understand us at all (or was just ignoring us) and proceeded to spend like 5-10 minutes trying to input O'hare into his GPS. I couldn't believe it! We live 2 turns away from a major expressway, and after I asked if he needed directions to the expressway (which he declined) he kept trying to mess with the GPS until I pretty much freaked out and demanded we leave immediately since we were dangerously close to missing our flight altogether.The cars were nice and clean, but I would absolutely NOT recommend having them drive you to the airport- maybe just home in case you have a Groupon and plenty of time. read more

called to make a reservation, was told to call back. umm okay? called back and made the reservation. or so i thought. called them while standing in the rain and they say there is no reservation. perfect. they say someone will be there in 10 minutes. no one comes. calls back again. "he's down the block." no one shows up. call again- he's close. someone then drives past us. the only two people standing out in the rain with suitcases. the only people out in general. then the guy reverses in slow mo. doesnt get out of the car to help us with our suitcases. i say wow thanks for the help and he starts swearing at us. i say is this for real? this is professional? and he says he can just drop out butts (not the word used) off anywhere he wants to. i ask if he's threatening us and he says yes. we make him away that the police station is very nearby. i call the company and no answer. never ever ever again!! read more
