I didnt expect to find such good ramen in pullman to be honest, but the food was better than some places I've tried in Seattle for a comparable price. The prices are a little high for the area but the portions are large and the food quality is really good. The broth wasn't too oily or salty or watery and they gave a really sizable amount of toppings (very generous with the pork). Noodles are hand made in store and we're great. The service was also attentive. The breading on the karaage wasn't as crispy as Im used to so id skip that next time and stick with the ramen. read more

Wow.... Just wow. I've had ramen from all over Portland, and SoCal; and this place stacks with some of the best. FRESH HOUSE MADE NOODLES in the middle of rural Washington who would have thought. Check this place out. Tonkotsu ramen was flavor packed with a rich broth. Plus the Chashu was some of the THICKEST I've ever had. Kids ramen also flavorful and super reasonably priced. Gyoza crispy and made to order the sauce they soak them in had us eating the daikon radish as a salad after! And to top off a great tasting meal the service was fantastic. Server was super friendly and welcoming and that a huge plus as a mom solo dining with 3 under 10. And because the over vibe of the restaurant was so chill it was one of the most peaceful meals I've had out in years. Love their ramen, chicken karaage, charred mackerel (appetizer), and poke. The summer ramen special was also really good and I love it when they have pickled eggs. If you don't want normal noodles, they usually have gluten free noodles or you can get veggies instead. I love that they use Toast to manage online ordering for takeout, ordering and paying at the restaurant, and rewards. If I haven't ordered anything recently they'll occasionally email me a coupon code. They also have a paper menu and employees who can take your order and payment if that's your preference. The only thing I struggle with is that their prices seem to be climbing really quickly. It's happening everywhere but it seems to be more noticeable at this spot, so several times I've decided to delay my next order until a discount was available. read more

Ordered Tontkotsu ramen and added bok choy for a quick lunch. I was very impressed with this spot as there were only a handful of Asian spots in Pullman with great reviews on Yelp. I was visiting my Coug and decided to try this ramen place between storage runs. It's a decent place set in Pullman, with a relaxing atmosphere. The ramen was good with the spice bomb being a little bit of a let down. Being from Phoenix, my Coug said surprised when the spice bomb was pretty spicy during her visit but mine tasted more like a warm curry. It wasn't bad at all but the waiter did say everything is handmade, so it could have not been mixed together or just easy on the spice. It was pretty tasty though. My favorite though was the gyoza. The ponzu, green onion and daikon mix made this a very tasty treat that I will definitely get in the future! read more

Haven't eaten the food yet.... but this is going to be interesting to try and make work in a hotel room with no bowl to combine ingredients. Keep that in mind if your not at home in Pullman. As for the food... it could be that the various ingredients didn't have a chance to meld in the hot broth but there was no real umami or balance to this "cup", it was just salty. Taking this one from 3 stars to 2 stars, bummer. read more

I love that their noodles are handmade! The restaurant is well decorated, with illustrations of well known video games and animes above each booth. If you prefer to have someone take your order in person, that is an option, but if you want to take your time and/or spend some time alone, you can order online and have your food delivered to your table! Nevertheless, the staff will greet you when you arrive. I ordered the Miso ramen and my partner ordered the Tan Tan Men ramen. My broth was flavorful, my soft boiled egg was cooked perfectly, and there was an abundance of noodles in my bowl. The Tan Tan Men's broth was spicier than I anticipated and had a strong pepper flavor. The meat in this dish stole the show. I could have eaten that by itself and been happy. Wow so so so happy I found this place! I'm not in the Moscow/ Pullman often, but wanted a noodle soup for the cold day! The boyfriend saw this place while playing video games and suggested we try it. When you enter, you pay at the counter first and choose a table. They had a wide variety of options for ramen, side dishes, add ons, and drinks to choose from! When ordering, the server/ cashier was able to accommodate my boyfriend- he likes ramen, but is sometimes turned off by the overpowered taste of the pork. We both ordered shoyu ramen, but my boyfriend's ramen had a tofu charsiu substitute which tasted great (and almost like pork, but a softer flavor). I'm asian, have tried some of the best ramen in Hawaii and Japan, and grew up on these kinds of dishes so I was a little worried about the taste. I think this is some of the best ramen I've had outside of Hawaii! I was very impressed, the ramen came with delicious noodles, green onions, spinach, an egg, charsiu, and bamboo shoots. The flavor was rich and the ingredients worked well together. I found it to be a little salty, but that would be my only complaint. I also ordered a small warmed sake- it was perfect for one person and was paired well with the ramen. Sorry about no pics of the food, we were incredibly hungry! I ordered Gyoza, Edamame, and Shio. The Gyoza and Edamame came out first. The Gyoza was burnt. I ate the ones that weren't too bad because I was hungry and moved on to the Edamame, which were uniquely seasoned. They were okay. The Shio was good. The broth was amazing. The noodles, egg, and bamboo shoots were all tasty. The meat was just okay. I am extra sensitive to dry meat and the meat tasted dry, so I ate everything but the meat. Despite the okay-ness of my meal, I would still recommend this restaurant as it is one of a kind in this community and the broth is excellent. My experience may not be yours and my specific taste preference may not be yours either. I would give this place a try before deciding it's not for you. Next time, I am ordering tofu in place of the pork chashu! Accessibility: This restaurant is accessible. All the tables have chairs without arms and generally have a good amount of space around them.
