So glad they understood and accommodated my request, so I really appreciate that! Their ramen is the best, with a very comforting broth. And even though I ordered the kid bowl, my bowl was still very filling, generous portions and toppings. I'm too full from that and might have food coma I also ordered coconut shrimp because many people recommend that, and it's the best!!! I placed an order when, unknown to me, the restaurant was closed. They had some plumbing issue, if I'm not mistaken, however, their website accepted orders when they knew they would not be able to fulfill them that evening. No notice or warning to inform customers not to place orders on their site or on Yelp. Yelp listed them as "open" too. I sent them an email with the request to give me a refund. I never received the response or refund, but the next day I was notified that my order was in the works. Thank you, by that time I was 1500 miles away. Unacceptable service. If you have seen any of my previous reviews, you know we are always on the hunt for delicious ramen and we continue that search wherever we go. With a few searches we found NUDO and decided to give it a try. We were greeted as soon as we walked into the door - the restaurant balanced modern with small pops of color and homage to comic book characters. Our server was kind and attentive. We ordered appetizers and two bowls of ramen. Pork Wontons (Spicy) 9/10 The presentation was beautiful - not what we were expecting at all. The sauce drizzled on each of them and glazing the bean sprouts was delicious. They were flavorful, but were not spicy in anyway. The portions were large and were a great way to start the meal. We decided not to go with the peanuts and I think that was a good choice because I don't know that I would've liked it Crispy Crab and Cheese Wontons 7/10 The crisp on these wontons was delicious and the sauce that accompanied them was delicious, but we wished that they were larger so that you could experience more of the flavor. To truthfully understand all of the ingredients, you have to have at least two, which makes it a plate that is harder to share because there are only four. For the small hints of the mixture we did have, it was delicious and well seasoned. Spicy Beef Ramen 9/10 The broth in this ramen was delicious. My wife noted that there were hints that were like Szechuan. Each of the ingredients were seasoned on their own and then added to the beefy broth that made all of the flavors flow together well. The noodles absorbed the broth well and the bok chow took on all of the flavors. The pepper added to the level of the spice. Spicy Miso Ramen 9/10 The broth in this ramen was creamy and had hints of spice. We originally were thrown off by the mention of BBQ Pork, but the preparation and the tenderness in the meat helped piece together why they prepare it this way. Like the Spicy Beef Ramen, the broth and all of the ingredients carried their own flavor and served to compliment one another. It could have been spicier, but overall the flavor was pleasant and had so many savory notes. I got the bang bang chicken bowl and everything was tasty but the steamed rice they gave was terrible. It was a scoop of just mushy rice that was all clumped together and really pasty in the middle. The food was hot and edible, but that is about as good as it got. The edamame didn't have any seasoning on it, just plain edamame. It was also a bit overdone and mushy. The steamed vegetables with the teriyaki were well cooked and it was a nice touch to have some vegetables with teriyaki as I haven't seen that many places. I think 4 stars for this ramen place is fair. Being Japanese and a big ramen buff, I love my ramen. I also understand that Ramen comes in many forms of bases and textures and tastes. This to me was actually good for Spokane but in the spectrum of ramen in general, it was just good. The service is, although busy, we had an amazing female waiter who was kind, joyous, and quick with our order!!! For that I appreciated it so much since we were so hungry. The place is simply decorated and gave a manga kind of feel to it. For me though it was the tonkatsu broth that was a bit disappointing. More so that it lacked a bit of that tonkatsu flavor. I went to eat ramen at Nudo, which is right in front of my hotel. The restaurant was empty, probably because it was a Wednesday night. I liked the pop interior. The staff at the store were pleasant and spoke to me immediately. First I ordered my favorite Takoyaki and Edamame, then ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen. The takoyaki looked good, but it had almost no taste, and the mayonnaise-flavored sauce and tempura crumbs at the bottom were tasteless. The edamame didn't have enough salt and was lacking in flavor. The ramen soup was okay, and the chashu pork should normally be melt-in-your-mouth soft, but it was so hard that I left all of it behind. It had a very disappointing taste. read more

It's not hot in my opinion had to use a lot of it. I also ordered the coconut shrimp and they added a sweet coconut sauce on top. Came to Nudo for the first time (i'm new to spokane) and I was craving Ramen and this looked the best on yelp. First let's start with the Ambiance. We came here around 5:45PM ion a Tuesday and when we arrive almost all of the booths were taken with the exception of one and the middle long table was just about all empty. We were taken to our table quickly and sat at the booth at the far end which was pretty cozy. We were helped by two young women presenting people and they were both very kind and quick. Now the food! I got a cider beer, spring rolls, and Tan Tan Men Ramen with tofu instead of chicken and add an egg and my partner got the pad thai with tofu and honestly we ended up sharing both of our meals. They tasted great together. My partner usually gets the ramen and i usually get the pad thai so I think we enjoyed each others more than the dish we ordered. The pad thai was sooo yummy and as of now, it's my favorite pad thai in Spokane. It had the perfect amount of sauce (usually I have to ask for extra sauce from places) and it didn't have an overpowering amount of bean sprouts. The ramen I would give 7/10 and the pad thai i would give 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be going back for it! read more

I had to get chili oil to give it some kick. They have other Raman dishes on the menu that I'll have to try next time. Not the safest spot in town. Ordered Tonkotsu ramen with a little twist (requested to make it spicy). The spicy sauce only floated on the surface and didn't really get absorbed by other components in the bowl. I mixed everything but still only the first few bites were spicy then everything tasted like a regular Tonkotsu ramen after. The broth was very good and I almost drank the whole thing but the meat was ok, too dry. Chicken Katsu was also too dry. Will give other things a try in the future. Staff were friendly. The service was good and fast. Artworks on the walls are cute. Restrooms are roomy. Finding parking nearby could be difficult especially during busy hours or you might have to walk a few blocks or more. read more
