One person went to Japan recently and noted that the ramen here was pretty similar/authentic to the ramen he ate in Japan. We've been to Hokkaido for their ramen before, which is excellent - but today we just wanted a sweet treat! Excellent bubble tea options, good prices, and fast service. Wonderful friendly service and always super fast. The food and noodles are as good as what we have had overseas. Everything is fresh and tasty. Added bonus is they are careful to set noodle dishes up to travel home well. They add a special insert to keep the ingredients fresh until you combine them. The boba drinks are the girl's favorite although I only like the Thai tea ones. read more

I'm a total fan girl for their Spicy Ramen, Gyoza, and Teas. I typically customize my ramen (extra egg, habanero smear, sometimes switch up the veggies) and I always get exactly what I order - perfection! The ramen broth is delicious, the portion is generous and tastes just as delicious the next day. I also love how customizable their tea options are: my faves are Brown Sugar and Thai, made less sweet. The decor is a fun Japan Kitsch IMO, and the service is friendly and professional. read more

Stopped by since it was close to the lake and was craving ramen. I definitely wasn't expecting one nearby so was happy to see it pop up on Google/Yelp. Free parking nearby and the inside is well-decorated and polished. Even though the restaurant isn't big, they used the space well with how they arranged the tables. The menu is small and primarily ramen. We arrived around 2 PM and there were no customers inside. We ordered the spicy miso ($14.95) and we got it within 10 minutes, which was super fast service (+1). The noodles were done well and there were lots of toppings, filling the bowl to the brim. The meat was thin and not flavorful, but really enjoyed the broth and the eggs are perfectly jammy (though could be marinated longer). Hokkaido Ramen also has other appetizers, boba, and rice plates that look good and are reasonably priced. If this place wasn't so far away from where I live, I would be interested in returning to other menu items. read more

I Door Dashed from here so I am unsure what the dine in experience is. But if it's anything like the Door Dash experience I bet it's incredible! Back story, I have lived in So Cal on and off for 14 years. Born and raised here but spent all my 20's there and then again 35-40's. So I frequent a lot of Asian restaurants and am very picky. This place not only has the best ramen I have had here, but also rivals most in So Cal. Also their Thai tea is next level! Most places make it so sweet. This was the best we have had! So glad this place is here, it'll be our go to. Also their packaging for Door Dash was the best! I have never seen anything like it, from the well packaged bowls where the veggies are out of the water so it remains fresh, to the packaging of utensils and Thai tea. Out of this world! We've been in a serious Ramen slump since we moved to the great Inland NW, four years ago. We'd heard of Hokkaido, but some friends told us it wasn't good. So we stayed away. Different strokes for different folks. It's Ramen weather right now, and I checked Yelp to find that it had a four star rating. So I convinced my wife to go. The flavor would not stop. Noodles were plentiful, veggies were fresh and meat and egg were great. I had the Spicy Tantanmen and my wife had the Miso. It was awesome on both accounts. My wife's only complaint was that it had too much salt, but not so bad that she didn't enjoy it. In fact she said she can't wait to come back. I won't say it's the best ramen house I've ever been to because I love the ones decorated in bamboo and have free kimchi at every table or on the counter. But for sure, we will keep coming back to Hokkaido! It's a great price when compared with other ramen houses. Service is very good as well. The gentlemen at the counter was very detailed and patient when explaining how their taro tea was made. So come for the Ramen, come for the Boba, but don't come late for lunch: They close at 2:30. This absolutely satisfied my craving for ramen. Other ramen places I've tried have fallen a bit short, but everything we tried was flavorful and delicious. I highly recommend the tonkotsu ramen. It's umami perfection and very filling. My kids loved thru boba teas, as well really fun vibe for kids. Bonus that it's near the Kroc center for dinner before theater. read more

Decent ramen. Had the tonkatsku ramen broth was great and so was the egg. However the pork was thin and lacked flavor. The husband like his teriyaki chicken bowl. Since there isn't more ramen places around this at least satisfied the craving but def needs some improvement. read more

I just moved to CDA and was craving some ramen. The delivery service was so FAST too! The broth was very flavorful, ramen noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portion was decent. Must try the takoyaki and the soyo ramen was good. But this time around I tried the tonkatsu ramen and usually get the matcha . I got the brown sugar instead and it's great must try if you haven't tried this place . It's not pricy very affordable. Reasonable price. read more

Mmmmm yummy yummy yummy!! Delicious ramen! I prefer it over monarch! We had the tonkotsu shoyu ramen and the miso ramen. The pork slice was delicious and favorable. The eggs were marinated and cooked beautifully. Loved the bamboo shoots and bean sprouts for the crunch factor. I think next time I will add fried onions for a little more crunch. The place was cute and small. Didn't stay for service as we got take out. Everything was packaged neatly and they took care to make the food look excellent even though it was takeout. Food is served beautifully. Portions are large enough to fill up a person. Music is nice and not too loud. Dining room has very nice decor. Be forewarned that ordering very spicy will get you a very hot meal. Some good ingredients but the pork tonkotsu is cut too thin and edges are over coolant and tough to chew. The pork broth is rich but too greasy. Noodles were perfect texture. Ramen world class standard to me is Ippudo restaurant but for the PNW this is a great improvement. We will come again and tip heavily to help make these new innovators put down roots. So glad they have opened. read more
