However my friend there in Acworth recommended I drive down to Auto Zone which was basically a mile away after we decided it was probably the battery being weak. The 3rd attempt to crank it after the battery (under warranty) was replaced,didn't crank. Lucky for me I had driven to that Auto Zone to get the car checked and wasn't somewhere in need of a tow. By deduction of a couple of things, it was determined my vehicle required a new starter. The attendant ordered the part for me,perhaps Lisa,or either Andrew. While I/we waited for the part to arrive Lisa called a friend whom she knew works for a local repair shop there and asked him to come over and install the starter once it reached the store. He agreed to help out. I had gotten there around about 12:30 and left there at 5 o'clock. Even though it was a long afternoon I was perfectly satisfied with all that they did for me as they totally and unequivocally went OUT OF THEIR WAY that day to help me! He was very helpful and got me everything I needed as far as my tires and oil went, even on the very busy day they were having. This was a while ago, so I honestly don't remember a whole lot and should've written this review sooner because he deserves it, but I do know I received thorough, above and beyond service. My 1-star experience comes from last week. I was parked in the line going into the shop and was prompted to come inside, which was no problem at all, and I was assisted by a lady, not sure what her name was though. I explained that I had a flat tire which was previously fixed with the tire plug but wasn't sure if there was another tear somewhere else. In response, I was immediately told that they couldn't fix a tire twice, no offer to even look at the tire in question. I also had an extra tire (but no wheel on it) in good shape but was not sure if it had ever been used or not, since the car previously belonged to a relative. To this, I was immediately told that they could only install/replace new tires. Again, no offer to even look at my tire. I then went to Mavis around the corner, just to find out that the leak was coming from the tire plug, and they fixed/reinstalled everything in less than an hour. Not sure if this was just a bad day, but definitely two polar opposite experiences. I could understand liability issues and/or being really busy (which was not true this day, only 1 other car being serviced with no others waiting inside or outside), but really all Walmart had to do was take a few seconds and look at my tires.

Hi i would like to just take this time and comment on how well my experience was when i visited…read morethis location for a battery issue. .As soon as i pulled up to this location, i was greeted by Isaiah and Princess. Immediately Isaiah pointed out how my battery cables were not connected properly. Princess also assisted by educating me on the condition and nature of my battery pointing out several others issues that could also contribute to the problem i was having. She addressed them all. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable she was and how willing she was to help and assist. After she addressed all of my concerns she also tested the battery and reinstalled my battery the proper way. When she was done I started my car and it started up and felt a lot stronger than before. I was extremely happy and pleased with the service i received from these two, after visiting this location. Would definitely return to this location again for my auto services and would recommend this location to others. But, today, with a dead battery, I have to change this rating to 2-stars and complain. They expect customers to somehow carry the dead battery back to their store where they say it can take anywhere from 24-48 hours for them to run tests to determine if the warranty claim will be honored. In my case, the warranty runs out in 3 more years, 2025. But, I am told by them NOT to get my vehicle jump started because that could interfere with their testing. Furthermore, they say that it would mean leaving my battery-less vehicle abandoned in their shopping center parking lot for 24-48 hours with no security. Since I have purchased vehicle batteries from other places and never run into such an arcane, inconvenient process to exercise the battery warranty for replacement, I feel I have no other choice but to write this as a warning to prospective customers. Do NOT buy a vehicle battery from here UNLESS you already have more than one vehicle. Because, if you only have one vehicle and their battery dies, it's not going to be easy to get a replacement. FYI, I also called the HQ of Batteries+ and they told me the same thing. In my opinion, this policy is designed to discourage customers from exercising their rights under the warranty and should be investigated by the proper authorities.
