10/08/25 I stopped by the location on Roberts Rd where Old 41 crosses Cobb Pkwy (41) by Hooters. I wanted to get my "check engine" light diagnosed. But my phone rang just as I arrived and I got distracted and left my keys in the car and locked the door. So I went in and asked the clerk if they could sell me a SlimJim (lockout tool.) It was less than $4, and the two young men came out to my car to help me use it. I would not have gotten the door open without their help, even with the tool. They were very smart and it only took them a few minutes to get my door open. Then I explained my reason for visiting, and one of them did a "check engine" diagnostic reading for free! And then explained to me what it meant and what the implications were. Two young men who gave exemplary service to a tired old lady. read more

My girlfriend's car battery was dead so we jumped it to get it to the store, and went in to get the battery tested. The employees were very friendly and helpful about the whole issue. Started my day driving across atlanta to look at a couple of trucks. My car has been giving me electrical issues and had it's emissions due in the next couple weeks. Came to this location for battery shims to try to fix the issue. Doug told me that the shim probably wouldn't be necessary and solved all my electrical issues. Not only did I save $3.50 on the shim, but I'm a lot less encourage to spend $10,000 on a new vehicle. read more

The store is kind of at a weird angle, so you can miss it. Everything inside is ordinary including prices. The one thing that made me want to leave quickly was that it was soooo hot in there. The staff were nice and helpful, but I could tell they were uncomfortable because of the heat. I asked the associate why it was so hot in there and he said the AC was controlled somewhere out of state and they had been burning up all day. Consider the temperate outside Advance Auto Parts, and keep your employees and customers form passing out in your store. read more

Cornelius at the Roberts Road location in Kennesaw saved the day for me. My 2017 Subaru Outback battery died again! This has happened repeatedly in the past 3 years. I am a senior and no longer felt safe driving this car with the Subaru brand battery. If you look online, there are many reports of these Subaru batteries repeatedly failing. I located an Optima Redtop battery online and spoke to Cornelius. He was beyond courteous, and helpful and discussed the issue with me and transported the battery to the Subaru dealership as I have been at home with no transportation since this occurred on Tuesday. Wish there was a no star option. Please do not allow Willy Varner to touch your vehicle. He placed my battery in backwards 3x and messed up my alternator. Manager knew they were in the wrong. Reimbursed for everything to be fixed. Never going here again. read more

Went in today and James greeted us with a friendly hello and asking immediately if he could help us. After wandering the store a bit, he then asked again if there's something he can help us find. He tried to find what we were looking for, but said it should come in tomorrow. James was very helpful and the store is set up quite nicely. Worst customer relations ever dealt with. Carey, was rude and dismissive. Recommended a product. We were not satisfied and refused to honor a refund. I will never use this location or brand again. Another gentleman older only tried to use his age for an excuse to why he knew we were wrong about what we were taking about. This place will lie to get the sale out the door. read more
