Dakota checked my car out and let me know what it was going to cost but couldn't do the installation. He was very nice and thorough.

Figured the *battery specialty store* would be my ticket to happier singing! Here's how it all went. First visit: I'm waiting my turn in line listening to a disgruntled customer in front of me explain his situation before leaving in apparent frustration. When it came to my turn I was asked to return when a different employee who had better knowledge of my particular batteries. Okay, I suppose that happens. No big deal. First return visit: I'm waiting my turn in line listening to a different disgruntled customer plead her case before leaving in apparent frustration. (I'm thinking, "That's odd--why do folks here seem to be so unhappy?") When I reached the counter I showed the current mic batteries to the service agent so that the proper batteries could be found. I was told the upgrades I needed could be ordered, and they'd arrive by Friday. So, I ordered the batteries and headed home with wonderful anticipation. My Friday visit: I return to pick up the batteries only to find that the wrong variety had been ordered. Oof. I gave up and sought help elsewhere. C'mon, gang. You're the battery specialists. I know you've got a better one in you.

Never seen such childish patnetic customer service . Corporate needs to get involved in this location they are scamming customers . We will be spreading the word on this shitty business owner & location and the lack of service they provide . I am sure the reviews, complaints, and word of mouth damage was worth not helping a customer over $150 .

Get there and was told they are awaiting a special attachment for the year and make, they will call in a few days. 2 weeks later I stop in and a female employee starts ranting about how that guy was fired because he didn't know what he was doing and lazy. So made another appointment and 5 weeks ago finally got the fob but the emergency key couldn't be cut. She told me I'm sending it in, and I'll call you in a week. Once again no call so I wait to see how long it will take. Today I stop in to ask about the key and she throws up her arms and said she didn't even order it! I turned around and walked out! Everything is an excuse at this store. Every time I'm in that store she blames ex employees or customers. I would not recommend this store and if you need to use a Batteries Plus drive to Kalamazoo

On 09.22.25 at approximately 10:00 p.m. EST, I accidentally dropped my phone face down on a hard,…read moredry floor, which cracked the screen. Around 11:00 p.m., I attempted to file an insurance claim through the Xfinity app, but the process would not complete. Since I did not have access to a computer, I contacted Assurant via chat to get the claim started. That interaction was extremely frustrating. The agent was impatient, unkind, and ultimately gave me incorrect information by telling me I could go to an Xfinity store for repairs. Later, I received an email directly from Assurant stating that my repair location was Batteries Plus on Pipestone and providing a link to set an appointment. Because half of my phone screen was not functioning, I could not use the link to schedule. I decided to go to Batteries Plus in person the next morning around 9:00 a.m. I provided the staff member with my claim number and explained why I did not have an appointment. Her response was dismissive and inappropriate. After I explained, she asked why I didn't use a computer and remarked, "Most people have computers at home." This comment was unnecessary and unprofessional. She then told me that no technician would be available until 11:00 a.m. and that I should return around noon. This made me question the point of requiring an appointment if staffing is not aligned with service availability. While another employee arrived, I overheard her whispering in the back, including the comment, "I'm just trying to help her," in a snarky tone. There was additional confusion when my claim showed under my ex-husband's name, even though my account should have been fully updated into my name years ago. This ongoing issue continues to cause unnecessary obstacles whenever I need service. When I returned after noon to pick up my phone, a different staff member rushed me through without explanation. I later discovered that a screen protector had been applied to my phone without my consent. Regardless of the waived deductible, this is an unauthorized modification to my device. I do not use screen protectors, as they are ineffective on curved screens and break easily. To summarize, I experienced: Stress and misinformation during the claim setup with Assurant. Disrespectful and dismissive comments from Batteries Plus staff. Lack of professionalism, including whispering about me within earshot. Continued account mismanagement, with my ex's name still tied to the claim. An unauthorized modification to my device without consent. This experience was unnecessarily stressful, and I hope it is addressed so no other customer has to go through the same.

Two kind workers greeted me as I came in and I was quickly helped by one of them. She examined my phone and was honest in saying she wouldn't know exactly what I would have to have fixed until she opened it up. I answered a few questions, signed a document, and got a call just over an hour later letting me know my phone was ready. The repair was much cheaper and faster than I had expected, making me happy with my choice in going to this business. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a repair. Thank you Heather!
