I normally have good experiences at this location. However, on the day when I needed them to do a battery replacement on a 2005 Buick Rendezvous, they couldn't do it; inconvenient location supposedly. I ended up having to jump start my car again to drive it to Walmart. Guess what? They got it done with no complaints. Moral of the story: don't go to this location for a battery replacement unless your car battery is in a convenient location. If you're there to just buy car stuff, then it's fine. read more

Horrible customer service, I came at 8:03 the open sign was still flashing and I come to the door and the guy says he's closed and all I needed to do was pick up my battery, so I had to spend the night in my freezing car because this guy didn't have the heart to open the door and give me my battery that I left to charge there. Our SUV overheated on the freeway during Labor Day weekend. There weren't any mechanics available at the time, which reminded me not to drive long distance when everyone else is on Holiday. . Luckily Orielly Auto Parts was open and I met Luis. His expertise was a huge benefit to our situation. He had us on the road again and back to Santa Cruz in no time. Luckily for me it was only a blown spark plug, which I was able to replace. Even though it was only one blown plug, I bought all six and changed the rest when I arrived at home. I have met Robert outside O'Rielly... and he was always professional and friendly...I have also visited this location recently with various car problems. No matter who was working any day, they all upheld a high level of professionalism and integrity. I was especially impressed when I brought in a power steering pump housing completely unassembled, and a worker there helped me walk through the pump disassembly , reassembly and other important info.... I was blown away!!! These people really care about you and want your business! They will go the extra mile, and then some to get your car working at it's best! If they had a no star option it would be mine. Went to this location because of the convenience but my go to is the shop on lichen and antelope that was my first mistake. Matthew was no help he paid no attention to customer service talking to an employee who was clearly off the clock with his girlfriend and when it fannally came to me, he told me I need a receipt to exchange one of THEIR defective parts . First of all I have never once needed a receipt to do an exchange and he tried to tell me he can sell it to me with no warranty because I had no receipt. WTF! I have had some good luck with this store, recently however i ordered a timing belt for my sons pick up, they told me 6 to 10days, they said they would call, they never called. My son works so we were all pitching in to give him a ride. After a week i called, not there. After 2 weeks and no call i dropped by the store. At first they said it did not come in, then they checked in the back and found it, no one knew how long it had been there. We all suffered needlessly because someone didnt care enough to check. I decided to try the other Orielly store on Watt for my daughters radiator, ordered it, paid for it, they said next day delivery, they would call. We got no call so my wife called, oops the warehouse didnt have it, they would re order it. Two strikes! read more
