Needed a replacement battery on my way home from work and decided to stop by this location, but oh…read moreboy was I in for a surprise. I have purchased car replacement battery numerous times from AutoZone in North Dallas area, the sales representatives there are always informative and friendly. Unfortunately not at this location... I'm one of those female, who doesn't know anything about car parts. I was hoping the sales rep can help me but to my dismay, he didn't show me what my options are and didn't even bother to tell me about the warranty. When I started to question about what kind of warranty the battery offered, he starts to show signs of annoyance. I did purchased a battery [not the one I prefer) Due to the unprofessionalism of the sales rep, I ended up retuning the battery 30 mins later at a Dallas location in exchange for a gel battery.

She flat out said it was contaminated because it is plastic.... I'm pretty sure oil comes in plastic containers.....? I went to oreillys and they could not understand why they would not accept my oil due to the container. The only concern they said would be water or coolant contamination and had no idea why she would deny it on the grounds of what container it came in. Autozone just lost another customer to Oreillys because Oreilly didn't give me the run around and they weren't flat out demeaning in my honest opinion.

I got a call immediately from the acquisitions department here and they asked if I could come in. I was assigned to work with Daniel who was very welcoming and kind. I'm usually very wary of car salesmen; they don't get the best rep. Daniel worked with us as much as he could. He was very understanding about discrepancies on the CarFax and explained to us where his quote was coming from. He was professional from start to finish. Taking off a star for his supervisor who seemed to be really stubborn and unwilling to work with us, but otherwise, I wish I could only buy cars from people like Daniel. Great job, Daniel!

Everyone here is very attentive and nice. Really nice waiting area with free water and coffee, and TV. If you come scoundrel brunch time on a weekday, expect about an hour and a half wait. So what we did was walk around and grab lunch, there is a lot of eating areas around. The service center is very clean and everyone is very helpful. Restrooms are very clean as well. Everyone is always up to answering your questions.

That set the tone for everything else that followed. Kyle, one of the Finance managers was great! The delivery process was top notch, all lead by Marcus! Marcus was very welcoming, offering great service and listened to what I wanted as a customer, rather than telling me. I even went home and complemented his service to my wife In all great experience and I'm a happy owner of a Jeep Rubicon X Wrangler!

So first off, be aware all texts and communication by your phone number are AI generated. There is no Jerry! Lol but not really. The other person who gave the review for this dealership about "lies, lies, lies," is 100% accurate! So upon arrival, hardly anyone was around to come and even greet you. If there are sales reps they are just sitting at their desk. I did see some men walking around coming in and out but we were never greeted. We noticed a couple waiting in one of the office areas. Finally, I texted that we were there and the response was, to go back inside and ask for Jerry's AI self. Even the chick that finally walked up to us, kinda had a chuckle when I said the text said to ask for Jerry. So we then ask her about the Durango and we are walked into her office. She asked us how much we were planning to put down and some of our personal information (address, etc) but we still had not heard anything about the car in question. So she takes off, takes awhile to come back and then mentioned to us sorry for taking so long but that she cannot locate that vehicle on their lot or the keys to it. We were so thrown off by this. She literally mentioned this happens a lot, not being able to locate keys to vehicles. Like huh? So then she asks if we wanted to see any other vehicles. We told her we drove all the way out (about an hour) to see that particular vehicle that Jerry's AI self texted is ready to test drive when we arrived. So we asked about another Durango that was literally parked in the front row as you pull into the dealership. She preceded to say "where?" and I even pointed telling her it's the only silver Durango out front as you walk out the front entrance doors. She said she understands but that there are a couple of them. There wasn't. Only one out front. She gave us the pricing finally on it and it wasn't in our budget. Meanwhile, she leaves to go do something and so I just wanted to find out how long the other couple had been waiting. The female mentioned a tad over an hour. I told her yeah, we were told the keys can't be located for the vehicle we were coming to see and she said they were told the same and it was a totally different car. So I ask the girl if there was a manager on site and she said yes. I asked if she could let them know we wanted to speak to them. So then she comes back with the "manager". He asks what he can help us with. I lay out all what had happened and what we were there for. So he says give him a little bit and that he's going to try and look for our vehicle. He comes back and says he tried pulling it up in the system and it wasn't found. So who the h, e, double hockey sticks is lying here!? Her, the manager, both? Anyhow I told him put yourself in our shoes. I asked him how would you like going to look at a specific vehicle you had text communication about that was an hour away with your girlfriend, wife or even by yourself? He said "or my husband". I said "ok, your husband or whomever". He said "I'm kidding". I really didn't care regardless if he was with a man. My point was over looked! I said what I said for the principle of the situation with hopes of him being relatable and making the situation not only heard but taking it in to where they make changes so it's not happening to others moving forward. Screw Clay Cooley! If I could show "zero" stars on my review, I would. Don't be suckered into giving your hard earned financials to this joke of a dealership! Also, "Am I at a club?" The playlist was unprofessional. I can get with Hip Hop music because I'm a fan of it, no doubt but to have the version of Rhiannas, Bitch better have my money playing and just like that, WOW! I just kept hearing bitch, then a guy came on that version going deeper into the obscene language and lyrics and mind you, we were also with our 11 year old son. Awful. Play than in your car or listen to it on your own time. This dealership was crazy, mad, awful. Yes. I wrote this essay intentionally. You read it (or thought of it) No regrets that we, as well as that other couple, left. Waste of time but glad we didn't give our money to them.

So we drove over there and purchased the vehicle. Just a simple cash car for him to get to work. Front bumper was torn up, hail damaged to hell. He drove it for about 4 days before the ac quit during the summer. Also had to purchase brand new tires first day. But none of that mattered to him just a cash vehicle for work. So I found him all kinds of parts but he didnt want to put any money into the vehicle till he recived the title. Well months went by and the temp tag they gave him expired so he called and they gave him another. This went on for several months. He would have to call and bug them to get a new tag. And they just kept saying having problems getting the title from the auction. So after nearly 10 months they call and tell him. They need the vehicle back because they cant get the title and the dmv is giving them a fine.So we both go over there after work and give them the vehicle back expecting his money back. Well not the case. The wife tells us it takes 21 days for him to get the money. So they give him a loaner vehicle. Now 21 days passes and he calls and they say they will have it the following week. So he waits. Then calls again same story. The following week we drive up there on a friday only to find out they are at the auction and and tell him he will have a check come the next week. So we go back home. A week goes by and he calls and they say same bs story. Then he calls and the owner says my wife will be calling you shortly and tell u whenever u can come get your money. So weekend goes by never hears from her. He text her multiple times with no response. This week she finally responded and said u will have your money whenever I fix everything that was wrong with the car. Which had nothing to do with my friend getting his money back. So now he has no vehicle of his own and just keeps getting the run around. I would avoid doing bussiness altogether with this dealership! I have already contacted the BBB and given them there license number along with all documentation from the sale of the vehicle. My friend is in the process of hiring a lawyer to handle this matter if anyone else is looking to sue them also! Just trying to make sure no one else runs into these theifs
