A month ago I was in the process of selling my car. In doing my due diligence, I plugged in my car's specs into the KBB "instant cash offer" evaluator, and I guess it forwarded the estimate to local dealerships. I got a call immediately from the acquisitions department here and they asked if I could come in. I was assigned to work with Daniel who was very welcoming and kind. I'm usually very wary of car salesmen; they don't get the best rep. Daniel worked with us as much as he could. He was very understanding about discrepancies on the CarFax and explained to us where his quote was coming from. He was professional from start to finish. Taking off a star for his supervisor who seemed to be really stubborn and unwilling to work with us, but otherwise, I wish I could only buy cars from people like Daniel. Great job, Daniel! read more

We came here to get a oil change. They cost about $75 for our 2017 BMW. Which is actually a better price, the Fort Worth location said it was $100. So definitely call around. Everyone here is very attentive and nice. Really nice waiting area with free water and coffee, and TV. If you come scoundrel brunch time on a weekday, expect about an hour and a half wait. So what we did was walk around and grab lunch, there is a lot of eating areas around. The service center is very clean and everyone is very helpful. Restrooms are very clean as well. We had an excellent experience at MINI of Arlington! We drove up from the Austin area to look at a different used car at another dealership but weren't happy with it, so we decided to look at a similar one at MINI of A. It was a little late in the day but they were able to get us in, let us test drive and didn't rush us out. We worked with Manny and he was fantastic. He did a great job telling us and showing us all the features of the car and made the process smooth and pain free. He and the rest of the team were very respectful of our time and there were no shenanigans like you might expect at a car dealership. I called to verify if a car was still available for sale in the morning and was told they would call me right back. 5 hours later I still hadn't heard anything so I called again and Lindsey Aprile told me that the car is available and to come right now and speak with the sales manager. When I got there, The employees did not bother to look up from their desks when I entered the empty showroom. First off I just had an oil change man was telling me I needed one and said he would charge me $50 and trying to pressure me on the sale. Then I asked what the cost would be replacing a part for the car and his lazy answer was I'll let you know after we diagnose the car. How much more lame can you get ? What a joke. Thanks to the staff of BMW/Mini of Arlington. Worth the drive from McKinney! After a number of dealers that had me shopping online, I found Chelsea and she and the manager made sure we had THE dream car we wanted, at the payment we could afford. In fact, after we agreed to a number, they went back and fought for better financing and that dropped our APR and monthly payment to the exact number we'd humbly requested (just refinanced our house and our credit had taken temporary hit.) Plus, the manager scored a ride for Juniper. She's still dancing. Seriously, I detest the dealership experience. BMW/Mini of Arlington changed all of that. Have you ever agreed to numbers and had the staff come back with BETTER numbers? This does not happen. I give them 5 stars for every part of the experience. Family plans a new purchase in months or so and there's only one place we'll shop. Kudos, BMW/Mini of Arlington. You have raised the bar for sales and service. read more

Rodney was such a big help. *Smoooches* He referred me over to BMW service to check on some information and when I walked in a sweet young lady greeted me along with how she could help. While she researched my inquiry she directed me to the waiting area. Heavenly host it was such a nice seating with a selection of fresh whole fruit and a variety of donuts. Now this is what I expected from BMW, Mini and Cadillac to provide for buyers. **Con: Every buyer no matter New or Used should be given a complete tour and made aware of the accomodation perks ie: carwash, loaners, snacks, drinks etc. This goes a long ways with repeat loyalty.. read more

I recently had an experience here and I have to say I was extremely happy on how they handled my situation. Customer service is a priority for them and that really makes a difference! The service manager - Dustin - contacted me on a timely manner. I have to admit looking back - I was having a bad day and the rep helping me at the time may have been having an off day (which we are all allowed). The rep could have been rude to me, instead he did the best he could and let the manager handle it. They have a wonderful team there and I would highly recommend anyone on the service team as they really care about their customers. I appreciated the call, the conversation and am happy to say I have an appointment next week in which my issue will be resolved. After being on hold with the parts department for 25 minutes I was told that it was impossible to get a new Wheel Lock for my car even though the MINI Dealership is who lost it. I was told I'd have to buy a new set for $100 and then they transferred me to Service that told me it would be $300 to get the old one broken off and the new one installed. $400 for a new Wheel Lock for something that was THEIR FAULT. Googling this and I found that they should be able to look up the code for my lock with my VIN and get me a new one for a fraction of the price but they are crooks at this dealership. I visited them a weak ago and they told me that I had low tread on one tire. But it wasn't anything serious yet, said they could change it but of course it would be about $200. Now due to an unfortunate nail in tire situation, I am at a mini service station again and they bring up the same situation about the other tire but then add on a surprising $300 alignment to my estimates. What would the point have been of switching out my tire but not getting my car aligned??? Switching out the tire the road would've been eating at the same tire. I come to service stations at dealerships because I expect to be told EVERYTHING all up front, not bounce around to different minis getting a bunch of random information. After another experience at the mini of Dallas, I guess it's time to go to yet again ANOTHER one. read more

Short version: *Dealership were cramped because they rebuilding the other office : 3/5 *Shopping experience sucks because of too much waiting : 1/5 *Cars wasn't looking their best because they're all dirty : 1/5 *Unprofessional saleman : 2/5 *Prices are much more expensive : 1/5 Long version: I would never want to come back here again just because of all the pressure they put on me and how much time I wasted being here at this dealership. It took them at least 20 minutes for every request you asked for like 20 minutes for them to go get a car keys then another 20 minutes just for them to go get the car back for you to test drive. It's just a never ending waiting game. Chelsea was the one helping us but she wasn't so professional. A sale person that has a tongue piercing? Also her expression changed right away when she thinks we're not a potential buyer. She kept pushing us to check out on their new car instead of showing us the ones that we're actually interested in . While we're talking to her, she took several breaks to the bathroom and the manager's office and just left us hanging. She was just chilling in the office and came back with a pissed face every time. Also most car here are dirty, they don't keep up with their inventory. We test drive a few car and all of them were very dusty outside and inside. Not much to offer here. Please save yourself a trip and go to a different dealership that actually want to help you find the right car rather than making money off of you. read more

Terrible experience. All I can say is if your going to go see a expensive car here make sure you are dress well and you look like you can afford it . So yesterday me and my wife went to look at a Mercedes G63 here , first the sales guy made a comment about it was an expensive truck and if I was sure about seeing it , after he went and got the keys from the manager he came back saying the manager just ask me to tell y'all not to drive it to far because it's an expensive car (AGAIN)and a lot of people that can't afford it come in here and drive around . Thank God I don't own a MIni anymore. While fun to drive repair costs are excessive, parts are hard to find, and many autobody shops won't work on them. Ones that do, (such as Mini of Arlington) really gouge you price wise. The staff here is very polite and friendly but I'm very glad I'll never have to see another print out from this dealership recommending thousands of dollars in repairs. read more

The service department is top notch. Car is just about out of warranty, time for a new car eventually, but in the meantime have to keep this baby running like a charm. Robert and his team let you know exactly what to expect and make sure they have as many forms of communication as possible. Came in early Friday morning, he offered a loaner to ensure we got everything looked at since the warranty was almost out. They emailed us Saturday morning and let us know it's ready, washed our car and made sure we understood everything. MINI Service @ MINI of Arlington - Incredibly poor communication, poor attitudes by staff; unprofessional, snarky Service Mgr; & a GM that doesn't give a crap; & bad service. I recently contacted Carlos (Service Rep.) re: an issue. He didn't return my calls or emails for over a week, and then didn't respond at all. Then, I received a couple service UNfriendly emails from Dustin (Service Mgr), and he followed up with a very unprofessional, disrespectful and snarky phone call. I was so shocked at this rude behavior that I escalated to the GM who didn't care at all - and rather lose a customer than improve customer service. Based on my experience, the MINI Service team has been degrading for some time. Piss poor attitudes by staff and bad communication. You are NOT a priority to them or valued. They lie about work that needs to be performed, and when you tell them what you need done, they jack the price. They don't double check their work. They half ass wash/vaccum your car at the end of any service. Their waiting room has been under repair for some time and it looks like a bomb went off - ruining the MINI experience. Recently purchased a 2014 Countryman S from an independent dealer but wanted a certified technician to do any maintenance on it so I took it to MINI of Arlington for an oil change early in the AM Saturday morning. Dustin greeted me and started the process of getting me and my car registered in their system and finding out what I needed to do. Everything went smoothly and professionally, and Dustin even offered a complimentary once-thru inspection just to make sure everything was good to go with my new purchase. Bailey was my primary salesperson and she was kind, helpful and patient in allowing me to explore lots of options and combinations, including two test drives. After making my selection of a Mini Cooper Countryman S, I believe that the team worked really hard to get me the price I wanted, including a great trade-in value. Once I finished all of the paperwork, Bailey showed me all of the ins and outs of the vehicle. It is not that we may fall down in life, but the positive way we stand back up. I brought my 2003 Mini Cooper to BMW Mini of Arlington and got engine repairs performed. The repairs did not correct the issues with my engine. I emailed the General Manager Michael Coleman a letter late Sunday evening 6-9-2019. Mr. Coleman called and left a voicemail Monday 6-10-2019 prior to noon. I got the message too late to return the call. He then called Tuesday 6-11-2019 morning and we spoke about my request for resolution. Michael Coleman advised he would have the Manager of the Service Department Dustin Moore call to discuss the mechanical and diagnostics. I must admit that the condition of my breaks prevented a complete test drive to assist with the technical diagnostic process. Dustin Moore called 15 minutes later and agreed to my request for resolution immediately. WOW where do I begin??? My daughter who is turning 16 has always talked about her dream car a "mini" however I have always tried talking her into another brand as I work for the other company and have done so for over 15 years but I was unsuccessful and had to start my car shopping which I was dreading! We started with car facts and looking around on line. We ended up at mini of Arlington and was approached by Cody Cox. He was very nice and when I told him I was just looking he didn't keep nagging like others he gave me my space not to much but enough which made my first impression of him great! We didn't find anything that day but he took my number and texted me when new stuff arrived. During the same time we didn't give up looking but other dealers would call all day or when I said I'm just looking they wouldn't leave me alone. But then I get a text from Cody and with a deal we couldn't pass up so we went to the dealer and was able to get my daughter her dream car. Best part about it was Cody and even the finance guy helped me by telling my daughter we couldn't get that car but we would keep trying. So we left with my daughters heart crushed only so that it could get cleaned up and have stripes added to it. A couple weeks later Cody had the car cleaned, signs made and it covered up in the show room. I told my daughter one day after school hey Cody has a car let's go check it out. We get to the dealer and she walks in and the rest is history! My little girl cried , I cried we all cried! Cody even had her a gift , he is an amazing sales person and if your in the market for a mini he's your guy! We love you Cody!! read more

Worst service center ever. The service manager at Mini (a guy named Tony) is horribly rude and was of no help. He seemed annoyed that he was helping me. Some employees say there is a service shuttle and some say they don't. Which one is it!?! They used my own car to drop me off at work even though the guy who dropped me off said their shuttle was just sitting there. You might expect this level of service from Ford or Chevy but from BMW/Mini? Avoid this service center. read more

The gentleman that was "attempting" to help her show us the car was condescending and had very limited knowledge on the actual packages. He was attempting to sell me a 30k package for 40k and when we stated that he was in fact wrong about his knowledge, he continued to argue and act like we had no clue what we are talking about. To this guy, that I sadly cannot remember his name, don't talk down to your customers and actually LEARN THE FACTS about the cars and their packages. You lost my sale. I will be buying my chestnut (it's not ugly, you're just a jerk), Countryman in the fully loaded package, from Santa Fe. Worst service center ever. AVOID! Normally I don't bother to write reviews - I prefer to let people make their own decisions based on their experiences. However, after the last visit to the MINI of Arlington Service Center I couldn't help but feel that other people should be told to avoid this place - at all costs! My husband and I have a 2006 MINI and we've been having some issues. As we live so far away we took it to our normal mechanic first. They (within less than 24 hours) stated that they were unable to diagnose it because they did not have the correct software to do so. Fair enough - they don't work on a lot of MINIs. They suggested we take it into a MINI dealership and they would be able to do the repairs (if we still wanted them to) once they knew for sure what the actual problem was. While annoyed we couldn't just get the problem fixed, I was happy our mechanic wasn't using the opportunity to scam us. We called and made an appointment to drop it off. We live an hour away so waiting around with a two year old wasn't really an option and given the car is out of warranty we didn't rate a complimentary rental. Not a problem. We might be a one-car family but we had a ride home and were able to borrow a car from a family member for a couple of days. We were told they would call us later that day but it could be as late as ("first thing") the next morning. After two days of not hearing anything we called them. Apparently they hadn't even gotten around to looking at it yet. We asked when they might be getting around to it. We were promised it would be "that day". They did look at it that day, saw it had a lot of codes pop up (over 50) so they wiped the codes in order to figure out what the actual problem was. Yay!! They were actually doing something. The only problem is they never printed out or documented what the original codes were. The only reason we know what even some of them were is because our normal mechanic gave us a print out of the codes they registered when we first took it in to them. After they wiped the codes we hadn't heard back from them so we called to find out what the status was. They stated they tried driving the MINI around to diagnose the problem but that it hadn't performed poorly for them. They told us to come and pick it up. We arranged to do so the next morning given we wouldn't be there in time before they closed. The next morning we show up and start to drive home. Less than three miles and Every. Single. Issue. started up again. We turned around to drive back to the service center. I was angry that we had to drive an hour to pick up a car that had barely been touched and was obviously still having problems. But the upside was that the correct codes had (hopefully) popped up so maybe they'd actually be able to fix it this time. They took the MINI back and we drove the hour home, me dropping my husband off at work on the way. The next day (when, again, we hadn't heard anything) my husband calls them. Apparently they haven't been able to figure out what the problem is but they think it's something electrical. At this point my husband tells them that we're becoming frustrated with their lack of communication given how long they've had the car and how many times we've had to call them. They apologize and state that they'll call us with updates at the end of day to let us know what they discovered. The next day (when we haven't heard anything - surprise, surprise) we call them and they said that they couldn't find the problem but they think they fixed it. How does that even work?! If you go to a doctor sweating profusely and coughing up blood they don't just cut you open, poke around a little and say "Well, we don't know what the problem was but we think we fixed it." Does no one at the service center have an actual brain?! We're told (once again) to come pick up the car and that if it has any problems to just bring it back. At this point they've had our car for seven to eight days with no clear cut answer of what is causing the issues. They haven't even been able to fix it (not that we would want them to at that point) because they still didn't know what was wrong with it. That should be a red flag right there for anyone thinking about bringing their car here. A MINI SERVICE STATION CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT'S WRONG WITH A MINI. We go to pick up the car (again) and in less than five miles it (once again) starts acting up. We go ahead and take it home as we can't keep driving the loaner car for that week. We later call to make another appointment to drop it off (because apparently I'm a masochist). The receptionist says they can fit me in at either 8:30 on Thursday or Friday but not at any other time (even after explaining that we live an hour away and our instructions to bring it back if it acted up). It's a drop-off people! We've now made an appointment with the MINI Service Center of Dallas. I'm hoping we get better results. read more

Stopped by a few times and met a pretty friendly salesman. Can't remember his name. Anyway, we did the negotiation two step and we walked away happy. They needed to make some last minute adjustments to the vehicle and asked me to come back later to drive it away. I come back and they forgot about it completely. So they apologize profusely and ask me to come back again. Im back again and they still didn't do anything at all. I eventually got to take possession of the vehicle but found out a month or so later they never filed the title paperwork either. Amateurs. read more

Dealership sent a friendly text indicating I would receive updates of progress. Guess what no updates... just like the other 1 star reviews it seems like this dealership lacks customer communication.
