Bath Subaru wasn't able to even look at the car for 10 days, so we tried Charlie's. Andy in the service department agreed to have the car looked at the same day, despite being fully booked on a holiday weekend. They were not able to repair our car, due to having to order a part. However, Andy gave us a detailed report with his head mechanic assuring us the car was road safe (just no off-roading for us!). We were there for a little over an hour. As we were approaching Augusta, a few lights came on in my 2012 Honda CRV even though it had just been serviced 6 days earlier at my local dealership in Massachusetts. I pulled into the service center and one of the guys there looked at it (youngish guy with an earring and blonde-reddish hair, wish I caught his name). He ended up checking a few things, determined the problem and found a solution that got us through the rest of the drive. He didn't charge us a thing! A year later I knew I had a wheel bearing going, so I took it to Charlie's to have it fixed. The service manager was rude, condescending, and kept questioning me, repeatedly. I finally asked him if he was talking to me in his rude manner, because I'm a woman and he thought I was stupid. He backed off when I told him I didn't appreciate him speaking to me that way. Needless to say, that was the last time I walked through the door of Charlie's Honda. I bought a new CRV, but not from Charlie's!

I know it would cost 40 total anywhere in the southern us. took them 1.5 hrs and cost 165 total for a part that costs 16 dollars (autozone). it was 2 welds whats the big whoop? UPDATE....(reduced from 2 stars to 1) So I went to get my inspection 2 months later and everything was fine except it was leaking exhaust where Maine Auto had welded it. The guy said they used the wrong type welding rods and so he cut out everything and rewelded it for 30$ in 20 min. I do not recommend this place ever.

I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to look at the differences between some different models and trim levels. Shannon, the sales guy who helped me, was extremely helpful. He clearly explained and showed me the differences between everything I was interested in looking at. We spent about 20 minutes and in that time I was able to determine what model and trim levels I should narrow my search to. Shannon was not pushy at all, gave us space to look, and was extremely knowledgeable. Getting an in-person look at the sizes and trim levels here at Charlie's Toyota was the most time well spent of all my car shopping experience. They ended up not having the used inventory I was looking for so I purchased elsewhere, but the time I spent here was instrumental in my decisions. I definitely recommend working with Shannon!

Shannon, our sales guy, was pleasant and knowledgeable, and even came in on his day off so we could pick the car up at our convenience. He walked us through getting CarPlay set up and through any of the features we were not familiar with from our 2020 RAV4 Hybrid. Michelle, the Finance Manager was also very pleasant and made all of the paperwork easy. They also have a nice perk with free car washes for the life of your car, but we live too far away to take advantage of them, though will swing in whenever we head north. All in all a positive buying experience and I would definitely recommend Charlie's Toyota to anyone looking to buy a Toyota.
