I own a 2019 GMC Sierra Elevation. I have had issues with this truck from day 1. I bought it brand…read morenew. I had transmission issues right off the bat. It was excessive oil right off the bat. I took it in and was told it's normal for these trucks. I told them they were wrong but they just blew it off. 80k miles later transmission goes out. Still using oil. Explained that to them again and they couldn't find anything wrong. Had extended warranty to cover truck to 120k, 123k front and rear main seals go out. Kept the truck serviced on time every oil change. Truck never made it to the next scheduled change without adding 2 quarts from day 1. Made an appointment for the seals to get fixed. They quoted me and sent me the link. No parts listed. I'm a decent mechanic. I knew exactly what they had to do. They charged me excessive hours at 164.00 an hour. They charged me for a seal housing I didn't need. Their top tech said he had problems with the seal rolling when reusing the rear seal housing. My only answer for this is he didn't know what he was doing. You align the housing with a special tool and get it exact. Then replace the seal. Most can do this without issues. But not Lee GmC. It's common knowledge GMC has a LoT more issues with their trucks and cars than most other brands. Any dealership will treat you like their best friend to get you're business. I googled " why does GMC vehicles have so many issues?". Here's the response. "GMC vehicles are often reported to have issues like transmission problems, excessive oil consumption, poor visibility due to headlight design, and issues with heating and air conditioning systems, with some of the most common complaints centering around transmission failures, particularly in models like the Acadia and Sierra, which can occur around the 100,000-mile mark; these issues are often attributed to the overall design and quality control of General Motors vehicles, which GMC falls under, leading to concerns about reliability compared to other brands." I'm sure I'll get the sympathetic BS generic response to this review from Mr Lee. Buyer beware! If you own a GMC I hope you have better Luck than I've had. If I were you, I'd trade it in before the warranty runs out. I spent 3 weeks without a ride because these clowns couldn't provide me a loaner. They are reserved for warranty people apparently. If I could give this dealership negative stars I would. I'm going to copy and paste this review on every social media site I can find. I'll renew it weekly so it stays on top. Good luck America!

It was otherwise a suitable vehicle for me and the test drive was good, but vehicles I was looking at elsewhere were priced better. Therefore, I was surprised when they said they don't negotiate whatsoever on prices. They also insisted on looking at my current vehicle to assess the trade in value, even though I didn't express interest I having them do that, and they gave me a laughable value. Ultimately, I purchased a nearly identical Rav4 (same trim, etc) elsewhere with 4k more miles for $5.5k less.

Looking back, I grossly overpaid, but I allowed myself to be pressured based on explicit assurances from their service department. The service manager specifically looked me in the eye and bragged that the vehicle was "better than inspectable." He guaranteed me that he would personally inspect it and perform any services that were even remotely close to needing attention so that I wouldn't face immediate repair bills. This turned out to be entirely false. I now have a sway bar link issue that requires attention, and the service department is completely refusing to cover it. I was lied to just to get the paperwork signed. Get a third-party inspection before giving them a dime. Management has my contact info on file under my account, but they have already made it clear they won't help.

Berlin city never contacted me to say whether they would pay for it or not. This service is unacceptable and we will not be any vehicles from Berlin City in the future. The delivery driver left my passenger window open and it rained in my vehicle! Of course it was a weekend when I returned home to this and the maintenance department is not available. It took 4 days of pulling up the carpet and putting fans on it myself to dry it out. I contacted Berlin's maintenance department on Monday and of course "the maintenance manager is busy, but we'll get him the message". The manager never contacted me. The competent representative mentioned I should have been provided with a pamphlet describing my coverage and how to use it. She also sent a copy of the 7 page contract that includes all of the details. The salesman at Berlin City Honda only sent the first page. I'm changing my rating from 1 to 3 stars because the owner did instruct his staff to provide what appears to be a good policy in lieu of the Honda Certification I should have received at the time of sale. It should not have taken so much time and effort.
