I remembered the local Flagstaff batteries+ having great service back in the day so I placed an online, ship to store order for an X2 AGM. Next morning an email came through saying the store declined my order. The Prescott location had them in stock and I figured this location could easily order one up for me so I wondered what went wrong. I'll never know though because they didn't contact me to explain or offer another option despite having my info from the order. Doesn't seem like a great way to do business. Fortunately we live in a consumer society where batteries+ doesn't have a monopoly on EnerSys or East Penn batteries and you can get them nearly anywhere so with one click I ordered an Odyssey battery online from my favorite auto supply chain. Shipped to my doorstep tomorrow free. Easy. Exact same specs, same manufacturer, same price, most likely the same battery, just branded and packaged differently. Tomorrow I'll have a new EnerSys AGM battery instead of an email saying my order was declined and I can decline to spend my money at store 103 in the future. It's great to have options.

I took it back to have that issue resolved and she told me that the screw is stripped and she couldn't do anything about it. It was new when I bought it from the carrier and never been worked on before. So now I have to go to the valley and visit an apple shop to get it fixed. I would think carefully about taking your product there because if I would have known that this would happen I would have just went to the valley to begin with.

A friend of mine on disability had engine trouble on her hyundai. Brought it to Heath's. After a…read more$250 diagnostic fee that is a huge ask on disability income, they diagnosed blown engine, said $9200 to replace it. I saw there was an extended warranty/recall on the engine due to a manufacturer defect, so we brought it to the hyundai dealer. No diagnostic fee. They found it was "just" a bad knock sensor, $750, and after some more digging on their part, the sensor was part of another recall, so free repair. The metal shavings in the oil that Heath claimed showed a blown engine were nowhere to be seen. My friend could not have paid $9200, and she needs transport. Diagnosing a blown engine when it's not blown, and not even looking to see if there is a recall isn't acceptable, especially knowing, as they did, that money was very tight.

We were given a reasonable quote to do all four brake and rotor sets but when the rears were inspected, they showed me and said there was no need to do the rears as they were in good shape. They knocked out the front quickly and got me back in the road to the valley. Friendly, honest, reliable. That's hard to find in an auto shop these days. I'd recommend this shop to anyone.

I've been driving past Southwest Auto Clinic for a couple of years now, and don't know why we…read morehaven't taken our cars there for maintenance and repairs. I called them this morning due to a very loud screeching noise that was coming from my front brakes. I was told to stop by this afternoon, which I did. Of course when I got there, the noise had stopped. Isn't that the way it always happens?! When I arrived, Jonathan greeted me outside, he listened to what the issue was and promptly pulled my vehicle in and put it on the lift. It was discovered that I picked up a rock that got caught in the rotor, resulting in the awful noise. No damage was done, fortunately. I can not tell you how much I appreciated the honesty. He charged me a more than fair rate for the diagnosis....nothing. I certainly wasn't expecting that. This is beyond amazing customer service. Since I was there, I decided to ask about getting a quote on a service another establishment told me that I needed to get done asap, which was quite costly and I wanted to get other quotes before committing. Well, he looked at the issue, did a test and it was determined that what I was told was not even needed (replacement of rear leaking struts). There was nothing leaking and it passed the "bounce test" with flying colors. Jonathan told me he wouldn't even quote it because it wasn't necessary work. Thank you Southwest Auto Clinic for your honesty. You have without a doubt earned out business. (the shop is super clean, comfortable inside waiting area, friendly employees).
