Came by to purchase oil for my car. After purchasing I decided to put the oil in right away. I accidentally dropped the cap into the engine. I'm really short and was unable to see where the cap had fallen. I tried a couple things to find it or get it to fall out but no luck. It's as good as an O'Reilly Auto Parts can be... The location is not the best, being in not the best area of town, and you get quite a few undesirable people around and inside. They have everything you need, and the employee there was very kind and helpful, not something you see at an O'Reilly. Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I have visited this store in the past and always receive the worst services. But never commented, until now. I enter the store to purchase power steering fluid and observed a male Hispanic gentleman and a African American woman standing behind the counter. Like always , they never greeted me or ask if I needed assistance in finding an item. I found the item on my own and walked to the cash counter and literally stood there several minutes es to pay for the item, while i stood there, the woman made eye contact with me and ignored my presence. I believe she was more interested in admiring her brightly colored finger nails . After several minutes of I possibly being invisible to the store employee's I exited the store. I am a firm supporter of neighborhood business support, but when you have employees that don't provide a friendly or supportive shopping experience, they ruined the reputation of a well know and respected business. As you can see from the reviews - good customer service doesn't happen here. I don't care. I come here when I see a value online and I come here to take advantage of that value - knowing I will get ignored and disrespected. The real problem is that - that value item is routinely out of stock. I feel like they do it on purpose. I went there for that $7.99 item I saw online and sure as shootin' it's not there. The price tag is there and no item. The $16.99 version of the same product is plentiful. Waited in life for several minutes without being acknowledged. No "we will be with you in a minute." Not even a smirk... Not even quick eye contact. Literally nothing. A random guy behind me asked for help with motor oil and immediately after they finished, the cashier I'm waiting for leaves her register to help them... Opposed to helping me, the next customer in line. I continue waiting... They start talking about if the oil is on sale or not. All while I'm still waiting... The business was completely empty. All employees standing around doing nothing. I walked in and went straight to a girl on the cash register. I asked if they carried tire chains she said yes and needed a tire size I told her I did not know exact but if she had anything that might fit a Ford F-150. She was totally annoyed and responded saying "I need a tire size" I said okay thank you. She did not say anything back. No thank you, not any type of assistance at all. Outstanding Customer Service! - Archie is the Best After work I came in to get (1) windshield wiper, since mine flew off while I was driving in the dark early morning. An employee (Archie) came up and greeted me right away. He assisted with finding everything I needed in seconds and even took me to the isle and explained my options. On our way back to the register I saw they sold key batteries and mentioned that my electronic car key had just died today as well. He offered to take a look at it, and changed the battery on the spot, which was a very nice surprise and huge relief, since after seeing the process, I realized I would not have been able to change the battery myself. After all that, Archie even offered to put the wiper blade on my car for me, which I was too, very grateful for, since it was dark out and I wasn't positive how to place it correctly. The customer service that Archie provided truly made my night. I'm going home with a smile, from this positive experience and quick service. read more

This review is primarily about their prices, lack of selection,and some quality issues with some of their new brands of filters. Nothing to do with store employees, but plenty with O'Reilly corporation. This new location sucks plus less selection,and higher prices, and their Korean oil filters cost me the same as a KNN filter for my European car the cheap Korean filter right away popped inside the cars oil canister, never happened with oem or knn filters.... I have given this place so many chances but they suck. When they get something or did something wrong they blame the computer system... where house or hub... They don't give you the right parts in the box sometimes... They don't have the parts there for you when they say they will even if you call 5 times throughout the day to make sure. They will tell you that it is a new system fault or computer system fault and never take blame for error. Just go and see they use that same line over and over. If you are reading this write to the corporate office and let them know how pissed off you are so they can hire a whole new staff there. I had never had a problem with AutoZone just 1 block east of them. Their employees words don't mean anything and that is there worst part. This store does not deal professionally with their customers. I bought a part from them and they told me to pick it up after one day. The next day, I went up there and I was told that the number on my bill doesn't match the product I in fact paid for. That was a 2 hour drive to the shop wasted. A couple of days later, I drive up there again only to find out that the part was indeed correct, but they just printed the wrong number on the bill. I take the part from them and try to attach it to my car, because of some missing pieces. I go back to them, and they say that these essential pieces are not included in the purchase. Fed up, I let them know that I wish to return this product. They told me that it's not their responsibility to return it and it can't be done because they got it through "a third party". This is seems completely nonsensical, especially given the inconvenience that they have caused me for a simple purchase. Also, when I had asked them if they had another branch near me, they told me there wasn't. Later, I checked and found that that's untrue, there were several closer branches. I strongly advise that people stay away from this shop if they're looking for good customer service. read more

Walked in, three guys standing at the counter, no customers, no one acknowledged me right away and no one helped me right away. I stood there for a few minutes when finally the guy came to me. I needed new windshield wipers because it rained hard today and my old wiper fell apart. When I asked him to help install it for me ( as the sign in the window indicates FREE WIPER INSTALLATION WITH PURCHASE) he hesitated, said he can't do it in the rain then walked away from me as if to ask the other guys a question. This place has poor customer service. I'm trying to come in to buy new spark plugs for my car and have questions since I'm going to be replacing them myself. The manager does not care to help women customers or answer any of their questions. The manager blew me off completely after asking him about spark plugs saying that they aren't a car shop. That wasn't my what I was asking for.... I asked him what tools I would need to replace my sparks plugs and he walked me over and showed me the most expensive ratchet and socket wrench set and proceeded to walk away quickly as I was trying to ask him more questions. He seemed irritated that I had more questions and said "what else?" I told him that he seemed too busy to help and that he could continue doing whatever he was doing which was nothing. He didn't offer to ask me what make and model my car was or recommend what kind of spark plugs I needed. I would not come back here. read more

all of a sudden our car wouldn't start, and we rushed over and Erik our "Car-EMT" rushed and did a diagnostic and in less than an hour we were diagnosed with a bad battery and he swiftly took care of us! Made what could have been a headache a pleasant experience! Highly recommended! read more
