Once AAA had jumped it, I called around to find a new battery and there were none to be found in the area (dealerships, auto parts stores, battery shops, etc.), until I called Motor City. A bit of a "hail Mary", I almost couldn't believe it when they told me that they had a choice of new or refurbished batteries for me, for (at most) 60% of what the dealers had quoted for a battery to be delivered in a week. Before driving the 45 minutes/45 miles, I called again to make sure, and asked about borrowing a wrench, and Nate told me that they offer free installation in their drive-through garage. Seemed too good to be true but it served, actually, to recalibrate my metrics for expectations. I pulled right in, and the battery was changed out in 5 minutes. I paid and was on the road home in 10 minutes. Awesome!!! Highly recommended!!!

I found this place on Yelp, and since it was only a few miles from the office, I swung in. The store itself is clean and well stocked. Happy to see a nice clean store! I had called the store earlier and the guy, who's name ended up being Jesse was really helpful. When I came in, he strolled out from the back and took a look at the fob or me. He said that the fob was old and broken, and needed to be replaced, and offered me a guy across town who could fix it for me. I was really happy with my time here. Guy is knowledgeable, friendly and prices are fair all around. They even have car bays as well! NICE! I will return in the future for other services.

Cheaper than some places I have been quoted closer to home. The repair work was flawless. I not only shattered the screen when I dropped it on a cobblestone street the Ipad case was bent and they straightened it as well. The only thing I can see that indicates that it was ever fixed was the minor scratch on the back side when it slid and bounced on my initial drop. Second was their wonderful customer service. Seems like a bit of a family affair with everyone working in the shop chatting with me as I waited but on the drop off and pick up. They are confident in their profession and knowledgeable. Even when I asked to purchase a new charging cord and they found they didn't have one in a package in stock they were willing to give their own personal ones up to make me happy. Third was their go above and beyond service. I pulled into their lot with the biggest chunk of metal sticking right out of my now flat tire and they offered to change it for me, also in record time and accepted nothing more than my thanks and a hand shake. I saw a cashier with his coat on as I observed my surroundings. I responded and said, oh I thought the store closed at 9PM. He said it is 9. I said no, it's 8:58PM. He argued with me and eventually let me into the store when I asked if they close every day at 8:58. I even asked for the store managers phone number and they said they didn't have it. The next day I went into the store to have a conversation with the store manager. The manager confirmed that the last customer should be taken at 9pm.... the store manager didn't apologize for my experience but said that he would talk to the person I described.... horrible experience
