I found this place on Yelp, and since it was only a few miles from the office, I swung in. The store itself is clean and well stocked. Happy to see a nice clean store! I had called the store earlier and the guy, who's name ended up being Jesse was really helpful. When I came in, he strolled out from the back and took a look at the fob or me. He said that the fob was old and broken, and needed to be replaced, and offered me a guy across town who could fix it for me. I was really happy with my time here. Guy is knowledgeable, friendly and prices are fair all around. They even have car bays as well! NICE! I will return in the future for other services.

After the first week without hearing anything I decided to call and get a status report: they told me I would have to wait another week for the part to come in. After not hearing anything for another week, again, I called expecting a status report. They told me that the technician would be in in about 15 mins and I would receive a call. After not hearing anything for an hour I called and was told that he wouldn't be in for another 45 minutes. All I wanted was a status report! Finally after another hour, I got a call from the technician saying that the part hasn't come in yet. The next day I received a call saying there was nothing else they could do: that the shop I had taken it to before had done damage to it and that the part wasn't fitting properly. They also mentioned that the laptop wouldn't even turn on. I figured that it wouldn't from the start since I haven't been able to maintain a charge... DUH. Nonetheless, they said they wouldn't charge me anything. When I went in to pick up my laptop they couldn't find my charger. Later, upon further inspection when I had taken it to another facility: we noticed that the keyboard had been damaged and didn't work anymore. It wasn't like that when I dropped it off at Battery Shack... The only good thing is that they didn't charge me for the part they had to order. Other than that I can't find any positives for this facility. I had no communication while they were trying to fix it, and they broke my keyboard. I'm beyond frustrated with this experience. What a waste of my time.
