I needed oil and a filter for my Chevy Impala 2015. Jeremy, the tech, looked up the right oil and filter. He was very patient and explained the pricing in detail. When all finished he offered to carry everything out to my car. That was so sensitive of him seeing that I was using a cane. He told the other customers that he would be right back. No English and only Spanish no problem. He also signed me up with their reward card and in the process discovered another name on my account. smh. I always use this location. It's easy parking. The store is always clean and well stocked. The employees are very accommodating and knowledgeable. The visit I made today I was helped by a man named Frank. He could not have been any nicer and was so very helpful. He was extremely knowledgeable and very patient with me. Oreilly Auto Parts I like to say that the location at 4303 S. Main St. were great. I had an issue with a return on a bad part. I went to a location 1021 on 90 Alt. Where the service from the lady there was bad. She wouldn't honor my return she said they I had to go to the location that I purchased from which was not true. I called the Stafford which was where I made the purchase, and he told me to drive there, and he would take care of me, and he did. I never should have had to do that. The customer service at this location is exceptional. I'm not from the area but would make the drive to this location just because of how outstanding the employees were. We had 2 older gentlemen help us, Luis and Ricardo, and they were personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. I cannot believe how smart and friendly the employees are here. It's not the biggest O'Reilly's by a long shot, but it's by my house and they are super fast in terms of finding parts, looking up parts in the book, doing returns, and getting me to the back area so I can recycle my oil. The best experience was when I brought over a fan clutch from a car I imported from the UK. It has no US equivalent, but I asked them if I could search the catalog for a possible replacement. They did it for me, looking at the catalog's pictures and my clutch...eventually finding a match! They didn't stock it, but they called and confirmed another branch had it and ensured they kept it for me! Even better, this all happened around 9pm, close to when they were closing! My side view mirror got smashed the other day by a shopping cart that those a**holes leave in the parking lots (you know who you are). Why people are so lazy and inconsiderate I'll never know. Anyway I went to a few places and they didn't have a new one in stock. I went to O'Reilly and was told like every other place that they didn't have one in the building, but could order it. I said I might keep looking around and Corey said he was going to order it, should be here tomorrow afternoon (Christmas Eve, btw) and if I still needed it I could come pick it up. No hard feelings if I didn't, but it would be there. Sure enough I had no such luck finding a mirror anywhere else and went back and it was there for me. Much thanks to Corey for the help. O'Reilly and Autozone are literally right next door to each other in my neighborhood and I never knew which the better of the two was until now. Autozone said they could order the part, but would definitely be there after Christmas. Understandable, but O'Reilly apparently has a way better system.
