I took my BMW X5 to another repair shop because it needed an alignment. I asked to look at the suspension in case the struts or shocks needed replacement. They said the front struts were shot, causing uneven wear on the back tires and wanted over $2000 to 'fix' the problem. I took it to Nline and they said it probably only needed an alignment since there are not that many miles on the car. Nline was able to do the alignment for a great price, and they said there was nothing wrong with the struts or any other parts of the suspension. So grateful I went to Nline. I visited this place a few weeks ago to get an alignment. They told me to show up at 8am on Saturday as they are a first come, first served business. I showed up exactly at 8 and told there were quite a few customers already in front of me. The representative said they would call me once they were complete. One hour turned into three hours passed, so I made the trip back to the location. About 10 minutes after I arrived, the representative said he needed to speak with me. He then proceeded to outline an array of issues that they had noticed going on. When he was complete, the quote came out to be very costly. Many of the suggested repairs were issues that were not noticeable. I decided to take my car to get a second opinion, but not before they said I had to pay a $35 fee for being on one of their lifts. I paid the fee and drove to another shop, whose repair recommendations were quite different, more than $1000 different. Be sure you know what you're asking for with this shop. This place is basically the absolute opposite of every other automotive shop you've ever been to. The staff is knowledgeable, polite, and most importantly, never tries to upsell you on retarded crap you don't really need. I took my Honda here and, having suffered uneven tire wear, was pretty certain there was something quite serious wrong. The interesting fact is that I had taken my car to other automotive shops on three separate occasions with the exact same problem and they all told me I needed new tires and alignment. While this was true, they neglected to mention that my particular model of car has no camber adjustment right off the line, so you have to order an additional part that allows for the adjustment. This is pretty annoying since my tires would always wear out way before their warranty. Well, the guys at NLine explained the issue to me, immediately knew the solution, and helped me get it sorted out. In addition, they don't put the screws to you on the pricing. You'll generally pay for the part (I don't think with any markup, actually) and then a reasonable rate for the hourly work. We also took my fiance's car there and the transmission had to be replaced. We chose to get a used transmission because the car is pretty old and it doesn't make any sense to put a new one in it at this point. They ended up having to keep the car for several days because they sent back three transmissions that were craptastic, and then knocked off 10% on labor due to the fact that they had to keep it longer than they initially stated. I can't really say enough positive things about these guys. They are stand-up, honest, and hard-working guys. Just got an alignment from them. All the bays were full when I pulled up and one guy in front of me was getting an alignment also. Was told it'd be about an hour after they started working on it. The first guy was gone in about an hour. Not long after that I saw them taking my car in. About an hour later it was done. Total time about 2 hours. Alignment cost $79, which is $30 cheaper than the dealership would've charged. Seems like they get some regular customers. Friendly service. I didn't see any printouts showing my alignment before/after but I'll take their word for it. read more

I came in a little later than normal, I called and was advise by the guy on the phone to come quick since I have a drive time car and the warranty place closes at 1 and they will need to diagnose it prior to that. I arrived at 11, it's now 2pm and they have yet to even move my car to one of the bays to check it out, so obviously it won't be worked on today. He should of just told me they are booked and wouldn't get to see he car today. It's now pouring rain outside and I don't have a car to get hm in. I came to this place with my mother who is a AAA member. The clerk was rude upon entrance when we asked about a promotion that was being offered through AAA. I'm a firm believer in not giving my money to people that don't know how to treat you with respect so I told my mother we were leaving even though she wanted to try to still explain and see if he would honor the promotion. If he had made a good impression and treated us with some kind of respect he and the establishment could have gotten return customers. Never again. This place is horrible. I have a drivetime car and they are contracted to service the cars. First they kept my car for 3 1/2 weeks. They called me 4 different times to fix something they said wasn't under warranty. They got my key stuck in the ignition and broke my shift assembly because they didn't know how to get the key out and made me pay for it. I got my car back with a new engine, radiator, water pump, thermostat, thermostat gasket and 5 days later it's running hot again. Also when I got my car back the hazard lights come on and won't go off and they can't figure out why. They are a money put, don't take your car there. read more

First time customer & this will be my shop of choice for the services provided thanks to John F. I arrived right at opening hoping to be 1 of the 1st in line bc I had an extremely tight schedule for this particular morning. To my disappointment, every single bay was already occupied and I was looking at a 3 hour wait at the very least. Which I couldn't spare but really needed to have the vehicle aligned that morning as I more than likely wouldn't have been able to come back before having to go back to work. John was gracious enough to move some things around unbeknownst to me which cut my wait time down by an hour & half. Not to mention that the alignment was perfect. I let my wheel go after getting on the freeway and it stayed straight with absolutely no wavering. Please note that I had an alignment done about 5 months prior at another shop but didn't realize that I needed suspension work done at that time. The shop took my $ for an alignment that wasn't gonna do any good for my vehicle. This shop didn't do that. John explained right upfront that they would assess FIRST whether or not the vehicle was in need of repairs prior to doing the alignment. Which those repairs had already been done 2 weeks prior. I just appreciate that he didn't do what the other shop did. Seems to be an honest place of business. My only gripe was the technician who test drove my vehicle afterwards. He burned rubber out of the parking lot causing the vehicle to hit hard down onto the pavement. Them he hit the gas SUPER hard and burned rubber right thru the light. So happy with these guys! **warning lengthy post** This is my second time coming to them. The first time was to get my boyfriend's old car checked (it had very high mileage and there was more than a few things going wrong). They ended up suggesting we sell the car based on the fact parts and labor would cost way more than the car's actual value. It doesn't sound like anything to celebrate about but we really appreciated the honest opinion. Other mechanics would just tinker with your car to run up a bill knowing it's a lost cause. They made no money off of us that day but they definitely earned our trust which means the earned a customer. I recently started having trouble with my own car's a/c and mistakenly took it to another place that was highly recommended. Long story short they charged me an arm and a leg, I had to go back THREE TIMES last month because my a/c continued to go out. Then I remembered about these guys. I took my car in yesterday morning and guess what by the end of the day my a/c was blowing like a dream! Turns out the previous "professionals" didn't even bother checking the freon or the fact that the hoses had no pressure and were leaking due to old seals (or worse, they saw the real issue and purposely made me return to keep making money off of me). ANYWAY I'm not sure if John was the technician doing the actual work on my car but he was the one I spoke to upon leaving my car and the one who called me with the diagnostic and once the car was ready.
