Didn't catch the guys name but he was working 4/18/2019, and was a COMPLETE jerk in the 5 seconds spent in the establishment. Walked inside to ask if a jack stand was rentable since the sign out front said "we rent speciality tools to help you get the job done right" lol, autozone didn't have one so we thought to try O'reilly, absolutely NOT. No reason should the associate have been a jackass saying "oh do well do you rent pizzas out" because my boyfriend was wearing an old jacket from a job he had YEARS ago. not cute or professional. Train your staff on the proper way to politely say "no" because I'm definitely not going to spend money where I'm treated poorly. If I could chose no stars I would, it's okay because this place already has a super low rating which is probably not just from my visit. When I went to O'reilly Auto Parts on Madison Ave to pick up a part for my car I told the salesman what i ordered. As I waited for the salesman to get it from the back, a female grabbed it from under a front counter and called her colleague "a retard." No one checked the part to make sure it was in good condition. I took it to my mechanic on the day I scheduled off work to have my car fixed. My mechanic, a couple hours later called me to say that the part was broken and that fluid from the part had leaked all over the inside of my car onto the leather seats. . I called O'reilly Auto Parts on Madison at 2:30. The salesman, Scott said the cut off to order same day parts was 3:30 so it would be in by 5. I said "please make sure. My car is in pieces in a garage and I have to work out of town tomorrow." Scott assured me it would be there by 5. I called at 5 and spoke with Scott again. He said, "it didn't come. I'll have to call in a little bit to find out what happened." No apology. No solution. I asked to speak with Dean, the manager. He said "I called the warehouse and someone cancelled the order and reordered it on the over night truck. So I don't have it." Again, no apology. No solution. I also told Dean that fluid had leaked all over the interior of my car from the part. Again, no apology. No solution. My mechanic has other jobs scheduled for the next two days. So I am without a car now for at least 3 days because of lack of attention to detail, poor customer service, and no problem solving skills. No discount or apology has been offered to me. I go to O'reilly Auto Parts on Madison a lot for parts but I will never step foot in another one. I will take my business elsewhere and I will tell every person I know to do the same. read more
