VERY frustrating and not even a sorry for the wait or any follow up on whether or not the patch worked on the tire.

Now I know I wasn't missing anything. When I walked in the store and started walking around (only customer inside), I saw three employees behind the counter. None of them on the phone or anything. One looked up, but didn't say anything. I walked up to the counter to get what I needed and I couldn't wait to get out of there. The guy at the register just mumbled and I could barely hear him, and he just seemed like I was wasting his time. Went back a few days later to return one of the items I bought and another employee who took the return was a complete jerk. Seemed offended and kept making snide comments. Told me that what I was looking for didn't exist. At the end of the transaction he just kinda shoved a receipt my way and I'm standing there like...am I good to go? He looks up a minute later with a look on his face like "what are you still doing here?" Long story short, I went next door to Advance and the employee (who asked what he could help me with when I walked in) walked right over and found what I was looking for immediately. This is the same item that the jerk at Napa said didn't exist. I think I'll stick with Advance and Auto Zone from now on.

This is the second time Advanced Auto Parts in Crestwood, KY has helped me out, saving me a lot of…read moretime and money. Both experiences the same employee by the name of Robert helped. 1st time he went way of of his way to help me troubleshoot a main battery and fuse issue I was having on my van, the next time about six months later he help me deduce an aux battery issue I was having an on my 2018 Chrysler Pacifica van and helped me find the closest one since he did not have it in stock. In both instances Robert got my battery issue solved and me back in the road fast, saving me time and over 600$ compared to the Chrysler dealer! I would also like to mention that Robert is a shining example of customer service and professionalism! We were in an older bus that has been renovated to an RV-style vehicle. On our way, on KY 70, the bus started driving weird. My husband pulled over and realized that some of the lug studs had broken. We were in the middle of nowhere. I couldn't get an Uber, couldn't get a taxi - nothing. I called this O'Reilly, and Mel answered. She told me I could order parts through their website and door dash would deliver. I thought this would save our day! Turns out, DD does not deliver the specific parts we needed. (I don't know the reason why.) I called Mel back and told her this. Mel took HER TIME and GAS and ENERGY to bring our family the parts we needed. And wait - it gets better. When we realized we needed an additional tool to make the parts work? She drove my husband to the nearest home improvement store to purchase the tool and brought him back. She was kind, supportive, helpful, understanding, told us to call if we needed anything else. Well, with all the bad luck - it's unbelievable - our starter went out. Here we are, in the rain, kids on the bus, adults drenched, nothing we can do, far from home, nothing close... I called Mel. Without any hesitation, she brought us a starter and waited until we got the tire back on and the bus fired up. There are NO WORDS to explain how thankful my family is for her.
