This is a place is so unorganized. My husband has an auto shop down the street and every single time I come inside I have an issue. This time Jose gave me the run around with the scanner. Telling me someone else had it then he didn't know where it was. But a few days ago they had two. When I asked he said they only had one. But when the manager came all of a sudden they had two. Look if people are here it's because they need your customer service and more than likely they are having issues with their transportation. If that's something you are not able to provide. 11/20 I'm guessing who assisted me was the manager, very poor service. I walked in to her talking on the phone which at first I thought she was speaking to me. I needed transmission oil which she told me which aisle it was on. Rung me up while on the phone explaining about how the store got broken into & how a coworker is short on pto. Literally a full blown conversation on the phone while assisting. I went out to put my transmission oil in my car & came back to ask her if she can scan/reader for my check engine light because it was still on. She told me she was unable to... whaaaaaat? Went in because that's was the only place near me when my Jeep started to smoke . I went in just to get a man's perspective of what the issue might be . Yes I know they aren't mechanics but they were the closest thing to me & it was Sunday . I just wanted to ask did they know anything about the part in my Jeep . I'm giving the rating 4 stars because one staff remember brushed me off w/o any concern & told me to take it to the mechanic . He was young , so I brushed him off . I went back in 5 mins later looking for tape to fix the problem. Johnny asked me did I need any help. He went out and looked at the part , went & got pliers to put my radiator hose back into place . Went to O'Reilly's on 5151 Atlantic Ave Long Beach, CA 90805. Dru helped us out. He was so kind, helpful & very motivational. He was helping a kid out before us and I heard him encouraging him and printing instructions out for him because the guy said he couldn't do it himself. Dru took his time explaining step by step to him and encouraging him that he can do anything he sets his mind to. He was kind to everyone in the store and made us feel comfortable to ask just about anything. He needs a raise or a promotion. It takes skill and a heart to have customer service like that. It's rare to have someone go above and beyond and makes you feel less stressed about fixing up your car because car problems is stressful enough. Thank you Dru for all your help and kindness. Very poor customer service by what I think was the manager. I spoke with helpful female earlier in the day to order a battery. I got there sound 830pm, yes you close at 9pm but you kept me standing around for 5-10 minutes. I needed help installing it as old battery was so bad truck wouldn't start - he refused based on the virus, time and "they don't do that". So I struggled and when I tried to return the core at 855 the store was locked up. He knew I was changing th battery and would need to return the old one. He totally ignore me knocking in the door. For $15 no worth me driving back there so I I can't end up retuning to a local store I'm out of pocket and more EWaste in the reuse system. Also it was obvious I was struggling as short of breath due to a long term illness - not the virus. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I had a been a loyal customer and always preffered them over AutoZone. I had bought car batteries in the past and they gladly installed them for me. Last week I came in to purchase a new battery. The girl that was helping me in the process was very helpful and polite. We walked outside to check the location ofbthe battery, to make sure it would fit properly, and the young lady askes another guy if he thought it would fit. The guy , bald with ears pierced, told her yes it will fit but then told her " But you know we can't install it right?". I was shocked to hear that and I left. I called AutoZone and they told me they would gladly do it for me. They need to be consistent with their service. AutoZone has gained another loyal customer. read more

Use to come here all the time. Use to always deal with i think a guy named Ceaser he was cool as hell and friendly. Within, i wanna say the passed year they have some short guy who seems as if he has an attitude.. I left autozone for Oreillys and I dont know what's going on but seems like the little guy was mad.. The lady that works the counter in the morning also seems moody. I needed to buy some stuff and seeing how it felt as if there was tension i said "forget it, they seem kinda mad" and gave my business to Autozone. For the first time i left without buying anything and possibly wont be returning. The new employees (least i think they are) looked as if they weren't being trained right. I was the only customer also. No help. No greeting just little guy with black hair and the lady that looks mean all the time. Think the manager. Until there gone maybe ill come back. They have excellent customer service at the store and over the phone. Prices are cheaper than Autozone and Pepboys. If they don't have the part, they order it and is there next day--I ordered a relay and was able to pick it up by 8am. This is my goto, for auto parts. read more

Went to this location because it APPEARED that my battery or starter was going out. At 1st Leanord seemed nice he took my battery out checked it, and he said "its good " put the battery back in and no start. He proceeded with telling me that it is the battery and I need to get a new one. Get a new battery car still doesn't start. So I'm confused. I end up getting a starter elsewhere and now I realize that there was nothing wrong with my battery. I called corporate, and they were willing to give back my money but I had to show proof that I bought a starter. Umm, sure ok, so I head back to the store and enter the store Leanord tells me that he needs his product in order for me to get my battery back. So, he wanted me to take off the battery myself and then put my own battery back in because he was pissed that I was going to get my money back. In the beginning of this process he seemed pretty helpful, now he was being a jerk. I had to go elsewhere get the battery removed, go back, get my battery, give back the battery, and finally GOT MY MONEY BACK with an attitude from him. Lesson learned from myself NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP HERE!!! read more

Mr Jhun automatically said they don't have those, I walked over to an isle and showed him that they do carry them just that for my vehicle they don't have them on the shelf. Came in for wiper blades and was quickly helped out. Was glad that they are able to do free and quick install as well, super helpful.

I went to O'reily because my husband called ahead to inquire about having the battery tested and replaced if needed. Upon arrival I was the only customer and was greeted by a lady with a heavy sigh "how can i help you?", I inquire about the battery having it tested and possibly replaced. With out hesitation she replies "The thing is I don't have any body available to do that for you". Disappointed and confused I asked if she was sure. She coldly replied No. Note I was the only customer and there was 3 other workers there with her. What is the policy for this can they say No just because they feel like it? I didn't see her check with any one if they where available to help me or not. She seemed to be ready to deny me service. I then go outside to try and jump the battery again which was unsuccessful. I call my husband and explain the situation as i was now stranded. I would not have jumped the battery in the first place to make the trip there if the service was not available. I did not expect to be stranded. So my husband calls and with in a minute a nice guy comes and helps me , he test the battery , notices via the sticker its less than a year old, and he enters my number and confirms it under warranty. All under ten minutes. Not sure why she turned me away in the first place and why they would have some one up front who is not going to provide the customers with service. read more

manager name leonard, very rude not helpful at all acts like he owns the store. i recently bought some break pad and rotors and was trying to exchange my old pads that have lifetime warranty and the guy that was helping me was going to do the exchage and leonard said no it is only a one time exchange..wtf this is news to me, i asked him to show me the policy and he got upset, i told him it should say one time exchange not lifetime warranty and he walked away while i was talking and this is who is running the store i remembered every time i went there there were customers coming in and out and this time it was just two of us, i see why, people took there business elsewhere and i will do the same. i vote for him to be removed from that store. read more

Dear Leonard, do yourself and every other loyal customer a favor and get a job some where else. Better yet Dear District Manager Nick Perez, I hope this serves you well. Leonard processed my returned products with such hatred. His demeanor was hostile and sickening. I feel terrible for the people that work under his management. He made me feel awful through out the return process, he absolutely discriminated me and my brother in law. It was obvious that he was looking for any reason not to accept my return products. The brake fluid was sealed, the brake grease was also sealed. One brake rotor inside the package was still sealed and unopened, until Leonard ripped opened the package and the plastic cover. There was absolutely no need for that. The second brake rotor in the package was opened by me for the sole purpose to compare the rotor to the OEM rotor, which I ended up reusing the OEM rotor by having it turned at Amigos Auto Parts in Long Beach. After 5 minutes of Leonard measuring the brake rotors with a tape measure, reading the serial numbers on the package, rereading the serial numbers on the rotors, comparing the serial numbers again and again; and rereading the receipt and writing on the receipt. It became clear and obvious Leonard was upset and hostile. When Leonard finished processing my returned products never did he mentioned the money will be return to my card. He handed the original receipt over to me with a mad look and walked away immediately. At this point I don't even know if my money will be returned to my account. I'll definitely be in contact with my bank and corporate in the next couple of days. read more
